I’m from Canada and we have a chain of asian supermarkets here. I was able to find basically everything needed for the more traditional version of this recipe, and made it today for lunch. It was so incredibly good and now I have a bunch of extra ingredients to make it many times over

What I had not seen before was adding the whipped cream around the first row of fruit so that it keeps a consistent shape when finished. Expertly hand crafted.
As usual, your orange Swiss roll cake looked gorgeous and mouth watering. Your patience and care was really hi-lighted- whipping the cream by hand into a soft cloud, gently scraping off the crust with a toothpick! The vibrant color of the juicy oranges really blended nicely with the color palette. Thanks for your hard work!

子どもの頃、ロールケーキを自分で買って丸々一本一人で食べるのが夢でしたが、いざそれが可能になったら、大人の分別が働いて胸焼けするだけだな…となっていたのを思い出しました…😅
…こんなに軽くて美味しそうなロールケーキなら、一本丸々は無理でも、半分くらいならぺろっといけそうです💕
家にあったキウイで作りました。生地がフワフワでとても美味しくできました!
