The family in this set is the family from the fun in the park set. Just the baby is a kid. And i don't think Lego has done this before. So cool.👍

I've bought this for my 3-year-old boy's first Lego set (except Duplo), and he so much loves it playing all day. Even I had so much fun putting blocks together and was fascinated at how well Lego made their products. I'm thinking of buying some more for me.
That's great! My 7-year-old just got this for his birthday and also loved it. Let's be honest -- I do too! Did you notice the monster truck rally on the caravan TV?
I love the easter eggs Lego places into their sets as in this case we see the continuity of a family from Fun at the Park then and now.
The parents are from Fun at the park! The kid was the baby from that set!
As someone who loves Lego AND camping in an rv,I LOVE the caravan. I would have preferred the truck to be black or white but thats probably just because Im and adult and maybe kids love it. My son and I love collecting Lego camping stuff and I hope they keep making plenty. PS The people need to spoon to sleep two. lol
nice easter egg. the family from this set and from 60134 are the same and the boy is the older version of the lego baby.
I wish they would make a sub theme of camping like they did for jungle explorer, but instead of the tropical rainforest it would be in the temporate forest. Maybe it can have cabins and a lake and such.
Lovely set, though the gap inbetween the rear wheels is kinda confusing to me. Easy fix, but still...
These Minifigures are also from the 60134 City Fun in the Park set. Just2good mentioned that it's a continuation with the mother, father and baby minifigure and the child in the set is grown up.
If Lego changed some of the paneling it could also be a good horse trailor

Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but if you want to set it up without the truck, the bar on the bottom front of the truck is what that is for.

The two adult Minifigures are the same ones we saw in the Fun in the Park set back in 2015, and we even saw them advertised together with the new baby figure!
I just thought that was a neat bit of continuity between sets that I don't see Lego do very often.

Pickup somewhat resembles a Ford Bronco, without the lid in the back. I agree with you that the front bumper looks a little off, but that's the only design issue I have with it.
Really like how the trailer opens on the side, so you don't have to remove the roof to access the inside of the trailer. Good thing, since it's not easy to remove the roof (the "lid" over the sleeper section comes off easily enough, only being connected by two studs, but the 6x16 plate that makes up the majority of the roof is connected a lot more securely and does not come off easily).
I find myself kind of wishing they tiled the roof of the trailer to make it look a little smoother, but that's an easy thing to customize, and I might do so later.
Comparing this to the Creator "Vacation Getaways" (31052) you get a really nice setup here for less than half of what that costs. I really love pretty much anything Lego has done that's camping related. Maybe one day I'll set up a Lego park or camping site for all this stuff to go.
I only think that it is missing skid plates and the hood and grille should be higher

I think Lego did a better job with making this set. The caravan is much larger than the caravan in the 2016 set Van and Caravan.
The adult male minifig is totally Billy Mays!

Nice set and great review as always. My only compaint would be, that I think the pickup seems a tad too big for the trailer. But that might be just me.
This is a good set. Pickup is nice as always, and camper looks good from outside -- love the door. Interior could use some work but still a nice set overall.

Very cool! They've done a number of campers over time, still remember the one from the Creator line which could also be rebuilt into 3 things and had a lot to offer in that set, but this one is quite respectable and it looks really good, I like the truck, even with the bad bumper in the front, the color seems a bit too flashy for the caravan itself, but it still works, very nice set!
I just bought it and I already made the truck stick shift and added towing mirrors
I spent two hours after build completion creating a working slide out for the camper to replace the unrealistic opening side, and it turned out really well!
Nice! Just a shame about the large gap between the fenders of the caravan 1:53 and all color that it exposes, but should be rather easy to fix?

Always love camping stuff; this is a no-brainer purchase for me.
Sometime instead of a Lego city, I should build a Lego campground with all the camping sets I've collected over the years.
Should’ve used printed parts for the Camper’s logos. The Friends mobile home camper from a few years ago blows this away.

The dude on the back of the box cracks me up. I prefer gently removing the insides from the box rather than flinging everything out while shouting HEY!, but to each their own.

Have the set and I think it is alright, not great. It is annoying when Lego chooses to fill in areas of their models like the truck bed and the floor section of the camper. Make the 5th wheel section easily removed from the truck to have a usable truck bed and add some storage areas accessible from the outside of the camper to store tools and I think it would improve the playability, but that's a minor gripe.

Leo Cervantes if so they got a divorce because the mother wanted to be fancy and a modern house with solar energy and an electric car brought the modular nightmare to 3 in 1 series. I was wondering where the daddy was so he is still in the woods with his pick up truck. Too bad that modern witch doesn't even know what she lost a good husband material.

Those minifigs are the same as the fun at the park set, the kid just grew up.
I didn't see you mention the open space between the back two wheels on the trailer revealing some multi coloured studs which look out of place. One 2x2 white brick instead of the red plate could have been better at the very least. But that's nitpicking who cares.
The adult figures look very similar to the figures from the Fun at the Park people set that had a baby. I like to think of the figures here being the same ones from that set but with the baby being older.
