I always thought she looked great in her short shorts (Daisy Dukes), high heels and legs in sheer suntan pantyhose. It's quite amazing the effect her shorts have had on our culture when they are so good that they are named after you. What I really liked about Cathy is she looked great no matter what she was wearing.
When the show was in the development stages the original plan was for Daisy to be a Dolly Parton fanatic wearing nothing but big poofy dresses all the time. I'm sure Miss Bach would have looked just as beautiful but I'm still glad they went with option "B" for her wardrobe!

I watched "The Dukes of Hazzard" fairly often as a teenager back in the 1980's on CBS.Catherine Bach as Daisy Duke was one of that decade's sexiest women on television.she was beautiful and sexy.as for her great fashion sense I have always loved her in those brief denim shorts or hot pants.to me that has always been the 'country girl' look!

When she was a young lady she wanted to go to Hollywood and act, her family said no...so she ran away, changed her name to Bach and the rest is history. How do I know? Inspiration for people to fight the system like two modern day Robin Hood’s like Waylon sang about. 80s kids loved this show. Uncle Jesse, Daisy, Enos, Bo , Luke, Roscoe,Cletus, and Boss Hogg made that show and people loved seeing the race cars and the music. 80s version and the later movie remakes with Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds(Rest in peace), the guy that played on Jackass, Johnny Knoxville,, and Sean William Scott or Sean Michael Scott that played Stiffler in American Pie I think is his name , it’s late and I’m sleepy so forgive me for forgetting names but I never forget faces, favorites, or characters. Movie and tv magic!
