This show has been such an influence on generations of many good families throughout it's first season. Plus my wife loves it, and she is always right!!!
Gotta admit, that was some seriously good acting by Cathy. It's about as pissed as I can recall Daisy ever being, and she meant it when she smacked Bo and elbowed Luke in the stomach. For as light hearted as this show is, it had it's moments of Emmy worthy acting.

😀 I used to watch this show each week when it was on. Loved the show.
Jeez, that was like a Three Stooges level slap! It's kind of a shame Catherine Bach never got to be more well known for anything other than Daisy Duke, because she really honed her acting skills throughout the show's run. In the early episodes she was kind of so-so and sometimes her line delivery was flat out cringe worthy, but if you watch some of the later seasons you can really see how her acting got better and better as the show went along. She actually had a few other intense moments like this in other episodes and pulled them off pretty well.

Daisy shouldn't been angry at Bo and Luke, because of some silly job they are going on the NASCAR circuit besides it's not for ever, Bo and Luke should know that Daisy is not in pig tails and braces anymore.
Daisy is really something special, Jesse is just old country boy, Bo and Luke are great too, i always enjoyed the program, along with others too, The Munsters, Married with Children, Chips, Renegade, Knight Rider, liked all of them.

In all of the years, I always saw Uncle Jesse do all of the work on the farm. Not ones did I see Bo and Luke Duke lift a finger to help out Uncle Jesse on the farm. Bo and Luke Duke were to busy breaking the law or they were drinking and womanizing.
What? You must have not seen the show. They were not criminals and they helped around the farm. They were thwarting the plans of Boss Hogg and Rosco.
