Poor Yoshimo. I wish his sub-plot had been more involved, so as to encourage more players to keep him in the party and grow more invested in him as a companion. Then the player's emotional reaction to his sad fate would've been a lot more potent.
i have him in my Party currently in a playthrough i'm doing, he's generally a placeholder for Imoen but he is quite good at doing his job and is pretty entertaining with his banters
They should have written the code so that these dialogues happened way more frequently, I cherished these moments most of all in this game and many of these I never even heard. I suppose I'll just have to watch them here and *imagine* that they occured in my story of BG.
He also has a banter with Viconia if they are in the same party long enough. She tells him she sees through his act and tells him she thinks he will stab them in the back.
Too bad the technology was lacking so they couldn't fit all the voice acting on the CDs (or they didn't want to pay for it). A shame how they handled Yoshimo. I wish there would've been a way to keep him in the group somehow.
Cool how Haer'Dalis immediately foreshadowed Yoshimo's geas.

I guess so, but he was my favourite character and voice, so I kept him and I was pretty crushed at that pivotal revelation of his.
I kept him up to the betrayal my first play through. The betrayal hit me pretty hard. I still wish there was a way to keep him
Yoshimo is willing.
And he can dance on the head of a pin as well.
i' d like to hear all the conversations instead of just two lines per banter because the voice acting friggin rocks! still great though :)

I believe they were written to happen every 1:15 hours of real time gameplay
Such a great character, Yoshimo.
Yoshimo rules
Would have liked seeing banter between Yoshimo & Xan

That's one of my few gripes with this game: the voice acting that ends after a few sentences.
Edwin becoming a woman has to be some of the best comeuppance I've ever seen to a character, it's so damn satisfying!
One of my personal favorite companions in the game...
*SPOILER*
Him being forced to betray the party because of his geas was very sad tho :(
