I've always loved JT and JM's live recording of this song, (if you don't know it, check this version out - • James Taylor & Joni Mi... ) and wanted to cover it with Josh since we started working on our "Josh and Kami play Joni" show (that we live streamed in September 2018).
Recently, we finally found the time to make it happen. (this was filmed of course, before the pandemic).
It was a little more challenging to nail than I expected; I kept messing up the lyrics at the very last bit of the song - which caused me to crack up and ruin a couple takes. But we had a good time. :)

Beautiful rendition of this treasure. My wife and I used to see James Taylor every summer at his Jones Beach, NY concerts. He is her absolute favorite singer. I told my daughter once that the best part for me when he sang this song was watching the look on her mom's face.

My brother, a female friend and I sang this song back in the 70's. Sweet rendition. It brings back all of those fond memories singing with those two. Smiles and hugs. "I can sing this song.."

I listened to this song again today after hearing the James Taylor Joni Mitchell version and wow are both versions great. Kami's voice is more Joni than Joni and Josh is channeling James. I absolutely adore this version as Josh's guitar sounds a bit richer but its amazing how good this song is.

If you watch closely recordings of Emmylou Harris in her early days with Gram Parsons, he would look upward if he wanted her to sing the high harmony part at that time. It is kinda cute when they did that too but really, you have to keep an eye and ear on the person you are trying to pull off a clear as ice water harmony with.
