My understanding is that the more features a solar watch has, the more energy it needs to run it. I just purchased a Bering titanium mens solar watch with the brushed silver band and blue face. All it does is show the date and tell the time. I believe thats all that is needed. Of course, my requirements are different to others. But just keep in mind, the less features the better.
yes but a garmin instinct 2 solar will do much of the job despite have a lot of features. you can turn of some of the stuff in order to be able to reacharge faster the battery

It just tells the time and date and has a luminous dial and thats all I need. Obviously everybodys needs and requirements are different. Thanks for enlightening me.

You should have included the Seiko Astron - Solar powered, Analog, GPS, high quality......
