What i learnt the hard way is that if you are updating stuff on the VCC menu ( like GestureManager ) sometimes Unity won't recompile the updated scripts and you will end up with errors so when you updated those it's better to have your project open while updating or delete the Librarie folder of your project after updating something. Also the templates isn't supposed to have a Librairie folder, it will take longer to open the project without it but will avoid problems.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm following your steps, but the things I import, aren't there when I create the new project with my custom template.
I'm getting the opposite somehow, imports coming in fine, but the packages you select right before opening the project at 3:53 don't show up/work as they should once I'm in Unity. I can still *see* them though in the "Packages" Folder under the "Assets" one, just not up at the top where the other settings like "File", "Edit", "Assets", are and it keeps telling me I'm missing scripts.
Hey have you ever had unity tell you that your prefab doesnt exist and then refuse to let you upload your avatar?^^ im having that problem now. Id appreciate the help a lot
Great tutorial. But I might see a litle bit of a problem. So when the custom package got updated, for example poiyomi 7.1 to 7.2, you have to make the template again. Or do you have a solution for that?
the best tutorial channel i seen so far so many videos they all useful and wellmade i dont want a heart i just wanted to get this out of my chest
Thank you for the kind words :3

@@marnoko296 this is fixed by opening the project once, closing it, then reopening

You would simply reopen the template, delete the outdated stuff, import the new, and off you go
@@PxINKY I see. Well I guess back to manual importing.
Each their own ^-^
These aren't new with this update. You've been able to do this for a while
The template feature I show off here is brand new? How has it "been able to do this for a while"?
@@PxINKY because I have been using it since at least December of last year. I even made a video about it too
@@andreblue_ Oh cool, Welp I only learned about it recently, hence why I made the video ^-^
@@PxINKY ya ,it's a great fun thing.
