Modern Zangief is the thing I play when im in a particularly angry mood that day and wish to spread that anger to other people.
Justin wong is such a legend why the hell wouldn't you get in as many games as you can if you run into him in ranked...

He'd almost certainly cook you with any character in any control scheme
Point thirst. They want to get as many easy points as fhey can, so they can show off. They forget what the points are supposed to represent, ironically. That's why ranked play and your rank is irrelevant. You can find people who want to improve just as much in player matches, and they'll run the f2death at 2am on a Sunday 💀

I remember on Neo Geo cd (cdz) Samurai shodown 3 had the easy super options in the option menu which allowed you to do supers with pressing just the 4 attack buttons simultaneously.
My friends were super happy back then. They mainly still lost, but now they were comboing into supers.
No more pretzels. What a difference this option made. The insane damage in ss3 made that their favorite game to face me as they stood the most chance to beat me😂.
Is funny to me how ppl care so much about losing a match in a video game. I lose a match and telling myself I can take them next one. and they quit. 😪
I hadn't played Modern or SF6 Ryu before, so I decided to give Modern Ryu a try the other day in some BH matches. I'm still trying to figure out what this one guy meant when he chatted "Play classic for better memories."
I really think modern 720 needs to be changed.
Just like charge characters are not suposed to charge while walking forward, a 720 is not supossed to be inputed in neutral, it's a balance design. Maybe if the modern input was something like hold up for a few frames + special it could be balanced, but the way it is right now feels really unfair.
Rage quitting is always so funny to me. Like it's almost better than winning lol

My cousin is the reason I hate playing against Modern. I had just started playing sf6 and played on classic because it’s what I was used to when I was really young. Either way, he would talk so much crap but can’t beat me consistently in classic to this day

I know people hate on modern controls, but I started playing SF6 recently, as my first fighting game (excluding Smash, but that's different) and the game is hard enough to get into as-is, I would have probably ragequit by now if I had to learn motion controls as well.
I actually did uninstall after the first 2 hours, after deciding to go with Dhalsim for my first character, which turned out to be way too complex. Then tried Guile as a simpler zoner, but holding a charge while doing other stuff feels weird, especially since there's no charge indicator in the game. So for now I'm sticking with the simple and straight forward Marisa, and might give Zangief a try eventually.
Btw I started playing after your coaching sessions with Bawk, good job on that!

this may be a dumb question but why didn't ken's DI at 6:58 cause wallsplat?
it's called lock state. basically you cant blockstring into di in the corner IF theres no window for them to escape. this way they can always do a reversal unless theyre burnt out with no supers

It's block stun so it doesn't count as a wall splat. SF6 explains this in the tutorial.
If there is no gap in a blockstring to use a reversal, then it won't cause a wall splat.

When a player who is already good at the game plays Modern is when it feels like cheating :D but other than that its just cool that more people get to play
All quitters moved to War Thunder.
1 and done is the MOST disrespectful thing that too many players do.
It’s a sign that they only care about abusing their gimmicky playstyle for easy wins if they can get a win.
If they lose they message you toxicity to boost/protect their fragile weak egos.
If they’re winning they often try to cause as much salt to their opponent by taunting or teabagging.
That’s Toxic.
Fighting games should encourage people to WANT to play more and grow. Like actual fighters who want to hone their craft and skills.
I always play by tournament rules because I like tournaments. Like minded players who want to test and see how far they can go. (And if they’re the Main Character.)
you can’t rely on cheap strategies or ignorance against people who are adapting. Which forces you to adapt until a winner is at the top.
I understand most people are respectful, constructive, positive, motivated, vocal, passionate, supportive, creative, imaginative, understanding, caring, loving, attentive, listening, confident, etc. [all kinds of positive qualities or generally good or strive to increase to the best or perfect as they can be]
I wish I could teach and make videos that hopefully could influence people to be better people and gamers
