I plan to watch this video many times. Yes, those who have given their lives to Christ are rich beyond belief...just think, it's only going to get even better when Christ comes back and we live with him and those we love in eternity! Now THAT'S the richness we can look forward to! Thanks for such a beautiful reminder. Diane
Hi there Granny also a lottery winner here! I have all those things you mentioned and also things that I am never even aware of. I have this little saying on a post it note near my computer and it says Never let the things you want make you forget the things you ALREADY HAVE! Also i have the plus of watching you on your channel. You make me smile each time. Thank You!
Good morning Sweet Granny ❤,, I know a few very wealthy people,, one of them is an entitled, pompous, unhappy human !,, I’m not rich , but I have everything I need , I don’t live beyond my means, I’m grateful and humble, and thank my savior for my blessings 🙏
I learned an idea from another channel I follow called "Frum it up." She said she used to say "I HAVE to do the dishes." Like it's a dreaded chore. Now she says "I GET to do the dishes" because being thankful of dirty dishes meant you had food to eat, washing the dishes meant you had dishes, running water, soap, etc. So "I get" to cook, "I get" to mow the lawn, "I get" to wake up at 6am to let the doggo out :) Every thing "I get" to do is a blessing. Attitude is so important. God bless you Granny, thank you for the reminder.
I occasionally have to remind myself these very things. We are so blessed! I loved your story about the trip to town. I used to watch Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, too! Those were the days!
I agree totally with you. We need to take time to always count our blessings and it will make us feel rich in a way that is beyond words. But I have daydreamed about if I received a large amount of money and what would I do with it and my list is a lot like yours. I live with my son in his house and that is the first thing on the list would be to pay off his mortgage and pay for some repairs around the house and some remodeling. Our biggest "richness" is the Lord and our relationship with Him.
I knew from a young age that we weren't rich. My father was an alcoholic and worked but drank his checks away. My mother busted her butt to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. She stayed w/ him as she felt I needed both parents in my life. The ONLY help she got was the state box every month. There were no FS in the 1960s and no neighbors helping neighbors programs.
Your sentiments are beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I constantly need to remind myself of this. When I do, my spirit is immediately uplifted. You are so appreciated ❤️
Amen Granny, preach it. I believe the same as you do, you and I are blessed beyond measure from God above. I also grew up 25 miles from the closet town out in the country by the swamps and rivers here in Florida and we grew all our animals or hunted them and grew all our vegetables. The elders would car pool together once a month and go to town for dry goods and the need of the house. I was raised by my Granny born in 1890 and she taught me things no one has the knowledge to teach this day in time. Thank God for all I have and for all my many blessings and yes I do live below poverty level on SS. I will not complain because I am to blessed to do so. I have a roof a kitchen and food and a bed and a car and it is all paid for. My home is over 100 years old and my car is 18 years old but I am one of the happiest people you will ever meet. Love to all and God bless.
I agree. woke up. can pay bills have food, family and friends, God is good, always try to focus on blessings not minuses. ❤ Thanks Granny for your wonderful channel
I’ve never wanted to win the lottery, I don’t buy tickets I only use my money on a sure thing, I guess I’ve always had an old soul. Heading to church shortly and will count my blessings as I sit there in this heatwave
We are far more blessed than most of us realize. I have never wanted to be "rich" in money. I just want to have what I need, and a little extra for yarn. Lol (I crochet everyday). Just seeing the homeless on the street corner is a big reminder that I have enough., and that's all I need. God bless you granny.❤
Great message that I needed to hear. Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement. It’s your friend from NC - I don’t comment often, but I watch every video you make (and give the “thumbs up,” of course). Just know you are appreciated!
Thank you for sharing such wonderful memories. My husband and i are blessed not with a lot of money, but we have a place to rent where we live, and we have all we need, we definitely not hungry and the bills are paid, we have good friends, our cars are 20 years old and are in good mechanical shape so we aren't walking, so we are thankful to the Lord for the blessings he bestows upon us. i am thankful for you and your sharing your life with us. May God continue to bless you, and he will.
All of my great grandparents came to this country with nothing but the clothes they wore, and their hopes and dreams. To them, I did win the lottery. I can’t let them down and be a complainer. They deserve better than that from me.
Granny, Ive been watching you for years, I dont comment very often but Im out here watching, listening and learning from you. I came to comment today as I needed to let you know how beautiful your message was today. I could feel the love of Jesus pouring out of you. Everything you said is so true and we all meed to be reminded of that now and then to keep us humble and grateful. God Bless you sister and thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you!!! 🙏🏼✝️💜🐾
You are 100% correct - I never knew we were "poor" until my mom started pointing out what we didn't have. I always looked at what we did have, like those Friday night ice cream pop-ups dad would bring while we sat around the black and white TV to watch wrestling. Them are rich memories and the "richness" just keeps growing with my kids and my gandbaby. Have a blessed week.
Wise words thank you Jesus for going to prepare a place for me and that your coming to take me there yes am rich because am a child of the king i have a mansiin waiting for me yes i have accepted Jesus
Preach it Sister! I can so relate to what you said, since I remember when REA brought power lines across our farm. Today, I have a thermostat. I have a flushing lever and an automatic washer beside the matching dryer. Don't have to pull water from the well, one bucket at a time. Don't have to worry about spiders in the outhouse, either. Remembering when we listened to the car radio to get the news and weather at 5:00 pm. Now, as I type, I hear the local news on TV. There's a cell phone on my right and a landline on my left and Internet access in front of me. Yes, I've won the lottery, too. Appreciating ALL the earthy installment payments everyday. Knowing full well, they, are small in comparison to what's to come. At my age, that's not that far away! God Bless.
Granny…I believe this is THEE best video you’ve ever made. I found myself nodding my head, “yes”, with every word you spoke. I have always believed the exact same things you spoke about. Every breath we take is a blessing. I heard something once about someone complaining about their shoes, instead of just being thankful you have feet to put shoes on! An attitude of gratitude is our answer to pure happiness. We are rich indeed! Praise God! 💖🙏🏻 Thank you for sharing your wonderful thoughts. God bless you. Sending hugs to you…💕💐
#1 blessing is being a Christian soldier. So many folks are lost sheep of non meaning religions. Only those who believe & are baptized shall be saved. The family, house, car, pets, food etc are all secondary... Yes we are richly blessed. Waiting for the time when my work is done here on Earth, then going thru the pearly gates with our 1 & only Savior... Amen
@virginialangford6257 I never assume anything. It's my religion. You have yours. I respect Jews as Jesus is King of the Jews.. I'm sure he will show mercy to the Hebrew people. His whole family lineage is Jewish... But in our Bible it does state, he who believes & are baptized will be saved... True word. This is Granny's video site: not a religious debate ring.
@maryshayka3511 baptism is a MUST as an infant, with your Godparents speaking for you. Then you make your confirmation at around 14 to accept Jesus as your Savior. Some folks who missed baptism have it done as an adult. They get dunked into water & accept Christ as their only Savior.. it's all Christian traditions
Amen amen you already are rich when you realized what you have; keep praying for our country and God’s salvation to fall in those who want to destroy our country; thank you Granny we were so blessed to have these memories🤗🙏❤️
Yes Granny, we are rich beyond belief if we are a child of God. Like you I grew up in a rural area; wore flour sack dresses. Food wasn't abundant but we at least had a little something to eat. To this day I still practice what my grandmother taught me. First and foremost was that God loves me and will make sure that I have what I need in my life.
My mother made flour sack clothes using an treadle sewing machine that once belonged to my grandmother. That machine sits in our living room. Ate many a breakfast that consisted of homemade biscuits, home churned butter, used for sopping molasses. More biscuits along with either red-eye or brown gravy helped make a good meal when protein was limited. Yet, we (7 of us) never went to bed hungry. It was enough. Still is! God Bless.
We are blessed. The one thing I always think of - are those poor people who have war and fighting all the time. Our politic is a joke, but we are basically safe and privileged with the right to our own opinions and body. I feel for countries that suppress women and minorities. Thank you, Lord, for all u do for us.
My Dad went to Vietnam during the war. He didn't get special pay but there was Mother and 4 kids. We ate puffed rice 8 times a week and on Sat my mom would make us a cubed steak and fries.
The greatest win in this life is living with Jesus forever. If I do a limbo slide there I'll be fine. The average dirt farmer in Mississippi is better off than an average person in Haiti. I know, I done Mission work there. Not sure if it's true but most Americans are in the top 1% of the world's richest I've read multiple times. I've worked for people in mansions. They are not any happier and their children often actually hate them. I don't want a mansion in heaven, I'd take a double wide. It's him that's the treasure. I put in our income and even we came out as "working class." I was astounded! I thought we were at least middle class but not by those numbers I guess. Blesses.
I minister to the homeless in our area. Some of them are Christians. They don't complain about not having a roof over their heads. They are not bitter at circumstances that caused them to lose their homes because of the flood of immigrants in our area. Instead, they are ministering to other homeless people and thankful that the Lord feeds and clothes them. This has given me an entirely new perspective on God's provision and on thankfulness.
I ask God for forgiveness because sometimes I forget that I have the things you said a roof, food, family and friends yes I’m blessed. Thanks for reminding us we needed to be reminded every day. ❤
Winning the lottery sounds good on paper that is But money is the root of all Evil,so The saying goes..You are Soo right We are Rich without millions of dollars...... Hi Gizmo..
I won the lottery with my kids and a scholarship when I was 35 years old to attend college to become a teacher. I am very blessed to have a better life now than I ever did before I got the hand up in life. I worked for it, but it was also an answer to a prayer as we often toil in life without ever getting ahead. I also feel that all US women have won the lottery in that we live in America.
Used to wish to win the monetary lottery as we lived paycheck to paycheck (both worked). Now retired, I have more than I need, so I HAVE won the monetary lottery. I now never buy tickets as I trust and have faith that my God, my provider, will take care of my earthly needs, and where I will go there is no need for money. I am very truly blessed and am very thankful!
this is what i thank god for everyday and jesus ! we are richer then we realize ! god takes care of the birds in the air he takes care of us to ! so greatfull
We need to stop complaining because most of us have everything we need be so thankful because there’s others out there worse off be happy we’re very Blessed
I do not have jewels or gold but like you Granny my mansion with streets of gold are waiting for us who know Jesus Christ is our Savior and God is the alfa and omega.
What a beautiful message! Amen sister!
You are absolutely right!! If we have Jesus,a roof over our heads , food , clothing, and the love of another soul we are beyond wealthy
The only lottery I pray I get.. is hearing Jesus say “well done good and faithful servant❤️❤️❤️
Amen.
Amen
Amen

Beautiful!
Bless you. You are so very right. Most of us have won the lottery of life. Heavenly Father gives us so much.
I've heard some good preaching today, but this was the best! 😎😎 Right on!

You are so right. Those who have Jesus have everything. We are blessed beyond measure.
Thank you Miss Granny. These are wise words for beautiful Sunday . Blessings,
We are very spoiled as a nation. A little humility and thankfulness goes a long way. ❤ Thanks for reminding me.
Granny, you are so right, and I really am glad for your talk. I am very rich too! Thank you so much 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️
Many of us needed that gentle reminder. Thank you.
I learned an idea from another channel I follow called "Frum it up."

So wonderful, relaxing, reassuring. I just got home from physical therapy after total knee replacement. Tired, achy, impatient. Thank you.
I don't ever play. I guess I won't ever win.

Beautiful message ❤
Oh Granny, how I needed this today. You have no idea. Or maybe you do. I think God put you in my sights for a reason. Thank you. ❤
My sentiments exactly!
My grandma used to say if she won publishers clearing house she’d help all her family!
My Dad went to Vietnam during the war. He didn't get special pay but there was Mother and 4 kids. We ate puffed rice 8 times a week and on Sat my mom would make us a cubed steak and fries.
If he was US military he indeed get “ special” pay…
Best video ever! Have a blessed Sunday! ❤
Thank you. God bless you abundantly.
you are right on ! i am always thankful of what i have and grateful
Good word spoken here!
One of your best yet.
We ARE rich … thanks for the reminder, Granny!🙌🏻👊🏻
So agree with what you said
This was so good, Granny!
Amen.

He became poor that we may be rich.
Jesus won for me and you! He won the battle over sin and death. Trust in Jesus and keep Him as your best friend.
I wish I can win the lottery but it doesn’t buy good health, love, friendship, loyalty.

With all your wisdom, you could be considered the next Buddha.
Wise words❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, we are very blessed.
We are so blessed thank God
