This is a great travel trailer I would want an island so I can exit either way and maybe a side slide for the master. Other than that this is a great footprint.
We had some of the original release here ruclips.net/video/7hIYIQJ9Nz0/видео.html that is still pretty close to accurate. Just update the interior look and remove the carpet like you see in this 34TSB :)
I just love this trailer!! It just costs a little more than we felt like we could afford, so we opted for the Freedom Express 320bh. We still have to purchase a truck, hitching, and trailer accessories. My husband just loves the Cougar's electrical system and solar prep. I like the lighter color inside. Cougars were just too brown -- reminded me of the 1970s. Also, super great kitchen and living area.
Love the presentation today great job... Your videography skills are outstanding (7K videos shows) no dizzy moments and all the attention is given to the product. Thank you for showing this unit. I have been looking for a lower cost alternative to the 377Fl Montana that my F350SWD can handle ( up to 13K#'s handling this lady properly) without having to purchase a new truck. Seems like the only thing missing is the dishwasher and the Washer/Dryer hookup. Thanks for putting the desert temps up as Phoenix, my home town, is almost that temp year round. Does in command interface with my personal secretary Alexa? Instead of carrying around a battery can you go all out with a generator so we can hear how well it's insulated and hear the AC ?
I've yet to see RVs really integrate with any sort of smart-assistant publicly, though I have seen Alexa-ready models prototyped for years now. It just doesn't seem to be making it mainstream yet. I like the idea of the generator as it would be an easy way for me to suggestive sell them, but you likely do not realize the amount of ground I cover and volume of content I create. It's just not logistically reasonable. You also wouldn't get a good idea of A/C volume the way camera noise gates work. Also -- how would turning on a generator tell you how well insulated something is?
@@JoshtheRVNerd hi the noise the generator makes, the sound level you hear inside. Noise insulation. If we can't here that gen set then maybe that diesel rig pulling into the spot next to us at 0230hrs won't be herd as well.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Hi again, I can understand that your all over your lot, we see that especially with your rant videos walking around the lot several times ~how ever I was suggesting a portable gen set on wheels. You lug that battery around so why not a cart or golf cart with the portable unit on the back. use it show it off and write it off as a business expense. Just sayin. not complaining or gripe'n :) as always your videos are the best to watch.
@@andystewart1580 Thx for the clarity. Again, I love the idea but with the way mics try to localize input and filter out background noise I don't estimate it would play out the way we both would like to see. Super good idea though.
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thank you. Thats a rv we are adding to the list for maybes. We still looking around for different types but we are mainly looking @ travel trailers or fifth wheels. And we diff are coming to Haylett sometime this year and get our first RV. 👍
I’m very curious.... What do people do for ladders in these bunkhouses that have no ladder? I could see my 9 year old climbing up without a problem, but it’s the getting down that worries me. I envision a scenario where she wakes up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and jumping down and damaging the lightweight rv flooring.
First of all your screen name is great lol Regarding the ladder: Getting into the bunks isn't really difficult. Adding a ladder is also about as easy as it gets. No installation required -- just a quick visit to the parts counter. If a ladder is the only thing stopping you from camping, then give us a call. We can certainly make that happen. I can also say with confidence I feel you're significant underestimating the flooring in an RV. I'm over 200lbs. I climb into bunks and hop down all the time. I am sure I significantly outweigh a 9yr old child. I do not cause Rv damage and don't believe they would either.
Haylett RV Reviews, News, & More Sigh... I wish a ladder was the only thing holding us back. I’m really digging that freedom express 257BH (also with no ladder!) but we need a to organize some ducks first. Love your videos. So very informative.
Not standard, but available. Cougar rep called me when he saw this (he stalks our content LOL) He advised they're doing 12v's NOW, but this one went into production JUST before that deadline.
@@JoshtheRVNerd no biggie. Still have a few years before we are upgrading. But man I love the idea of not having to run propane as you travel. Much safer.
@@JasonScottCarter You may consider looking into a 2-way/to/12v conversion. I am not well versed in them, but perhaps they'll offer you the peace of mind you're seeking.
So far great to us, will be bumping up next year, I hate the bathroom so close to the bedroom, putting in the king is way to big, and the bathroom no room is my only complaint, glad the carpet will be gone bc rolls up when putting out the sides. Can't wait for in 2 weeks to hit the road. Fitth wheel plus a bathroom and bed away unless you want to smell. Staying with keystone but Montano. They make the best, this is the largest and a great drive. Those I see pulling with an f150 on here, living in them are crazy, it may be light, but insane to pull full time. Its supposed to be tested as O weather, must be on drugs, froze my butt off unless running your generator. Still beautiful, can't wait to summer RV. Keystone besr warranty around!
I got on my computer to say that I had five kids who are now grown, and I found that they managed to require lots of STUFF....usually to keep them engaged so they didn't get in trouble...in other words, toys! Plus extra clothes because they changed clothes often. But maybe my kids are hoarders. I certainly am. Probably why I dream of selling it all and moving into an rv!
When you start bring in Cougar’s with the 12v fridge are you thinking you will apply a solar pack with it? I like the room in the 12v but we do a lot of off grid camping so we run our fridge off propane all the time. Great video!
We likely won't force-solar onto them. They're always solar ready & that's pretty easy to apply as a result. In our region we still have a VAST majority of park-campers. Our parts & service team is well equipped and able to assist folks in other areas or those who have different preferences.
It's 2024...we're looking at this as a used model. SERIOUSLY interested. Thank you for this content!!
Enjoy! It’s a great rig
Bro...the kids use soooooo much stuff. LOL you're not alone my friend.

Is it possible to turn the cabinet at the backwall just a desktop? For like a lil office area.
Probably. I think you'd just need to pop off the lower cabinet doors. I don't think it would take significant work

Hey Josh! The air conditioning vents are designed to look like the old metal air conditioning & heater vents of the past. Nice retro style!
Reminds me of the big circular vent covers you see on warehouse/XL size vent systems.
Children are like gasses: they expand to fill the space they occupy.
Like a Goldfish!
Love this style. It would be nice with the BH for the kido
Lucky is the kiddo that gets to spend their time in this one :)
