Beautiful layout! You forgot to show the pantry next to the dinette table... Love the bunk bets, the rectangular shower, and the outdoor kitchen. You're absolutely right about having your windows facing your campground. It's also a must for me! Great video and keep up the good work.

Love the rectangular shower and porcelain toilet. Nice slick outside shell.

Rectangular shower, off set sink, BR sink counter space, 👍👍👍. Just needs a King bed!

I replaced my single basin sink for a double sink as I think it's a little more practical.

NO CARPET...YAY! But no extra bathroom cabinet....MEH! Love the little cubby holes in the bedroom closets. Hubby and I had this same idea in RV we have now but never implemented. All that space not being used coz you CANNOT get in there, or in my case things are just thrown in there all over.... Just not enough room in bedroom. Nice, they did put in 2nd A/C unit. Although nice Rig, just not for us. Ty Miles.

You forgot to mention the arched ceiling, makes it feel so much bigger. I just bought the 2021 328RL and love it.

There’s another plus to an arch ceiling! If you cold weather camp arched roofs encourage water run off, and increase the weight it can carry. This means if it snows, you don’t have to worry about the roof bowing due to weight, and causing leaks from pooling water.

I really like this one a lot, but two things I don’t like would be the floor vents, for obvious reasons, and the placement of the theater seats. There’s no elbow room, and it seems this is an issue with most travel trailers. I wonder if one of the booth seats at the dinette could be removed. Getting rid of the seat nearest the recliners would create a lot more elbow room and that is what I would prefer. I love to travel, but I’m content to fly and stay in hotels. I would live in the trailer. I like the idea that I can move it in a couple years or so if I get bored with my current location.
Life has left me more alone at age 60 than I have ever been. This isn’t as sad as it might sound. I am not at all unhappy, just I have way more space in my big house than I and my two little dogs need. I enjoy having friends over, but covid and other circumstances have made it more difficult to maintain a clean house and attractive yards and gardens. My house is very nice, relatively new, and should fetch an excellent price in the current market.
The thing I feel like I need the house for is my hobbies: including a game room and a complete deejay setup and record collection. All my life I have collected record albums and singles, and before I got intimate with computers (mid to late 1980s) I was a club and radio deejay. My home setup allows me to entertain friends and make a lot of “mix tapes” (which I can still make on reel-to-reel, but more often I use jump drives). The deejay studio including the record collection takes up a lot of space, and I don’t think I could ever cram it all into a travel trailer.
My idea is to find a livable trailer, one that I can park on a piece of easily-maintained property and leave it there. I am thinking of a property large enough to also accommodate a utility building of the sort you often see outside Lowe’s or Home Depot. I like the two-story models, as I can envision my deejay setup on one floor and a game room, featuring new game consoles and one or two classic 386 or Pentium computers for retro gaming, plus maybe a pool table on the other floor.
So I could have my travel trailer as personal living space and the utility building for indulging my hobbies and entertaining. I would need to add a half-bath and small kitchen to the utility building but I think I’ll be able to afford that.
I’m mentioning all of this just on the off chance an experienced RVer will see it and point out any flaws they see in my thinking, and/or point out any potential issues I should bear in mind as I plan for this lifestyle change.

Love the idea. Me and my wife have lived full time in a 28ft rv. I will say it has its ups and downs. Downsizing is the biggest change. You learn to have different hobbies i would say . A lot more out door things. . But my wife works from home and has 2 computer screens. Its possible to have deejay stuff i would imagine. One question to ask yourself is if you have a storage barn and all this other stuff for your needs, is it easy to move it all when you want to pack up and go somewhere else ? Its an exciting life and i would highly recommend it.

    • @robsemail
      @robsemail 2 года назад

@@MontanaCamp yeah, it would not be convenient to move frequently, no doubt. I guess what I like is the idea of putting an RV in a scenic place where it might be difficult or too expensive to build a house. If I can buy a small lot and move one of those pre-built utility buildings onto it and add utility lines, I’m thinking maybe I’ll have something I can resell at a premium thanks to the utility lines and the building, which I will have plumbed, insulated and finished out to some degree long before I would be thinking of reselling.
I know of a very scenic spot near my present home where it would make sense to do this. I just don’t know how easy it would be to turn around and sell it in a few years, and also I don’t really want to stay where I am. I want to move to another part of the country, so I need to find a similar small plot of land somewhere else, hopefully near a large city.
I’m keeping an eye open for something much different, like a small house in a place where I won’t need a car, like some of the more walkable parts of Chicago. It would be expensive, but the easy access to air and rail travel services would make that city an ideal place for me. I like to fly to very distant places, and the savings I would realize flying from Chicago, compared to flying from the nearest airports to where I am now, is HUGE and must be taken into account.
If I can’t do that and decide I must live with a car or a pick-up, then I might like to live RV-style as I described above if it’s possible, near a large city but not in a suburb.

I love the kennel under the bed idea. I never thought about that. I do wish they would have put a washer and dryer and connection somewhere maybe in the bottom of the pantry? But it is a very nice rig tho. Awesome video

One major fail: 20 ft long awning; 16ft long slide under it. Where do you put a picnic table and stay dry?? Putting the slide in isn't a great plan as it completely blocks the big pantry and access to the kitchen.

I guess I don't understand, with these bigger trailers, how people tow them. If the trailer sleeps 8 but a 3/4 truck only seats five...do families just drive two vehicles for these kinds of trailers?

I'm just flustered, the "master bedroom" with the storage of afoot locker?? That's nuts. I still think the front kitchen/ living set up is best, I wonder why they don't know how to fit two bedrooms together in the back?

Make sure the trailer's tongue weight isn't too much for your truck.
