Can you make tutorials for the classic extreme metal genres: black, death, thrash, and explain how to use Odin 3 to get the most realism for the exact type of riff? You would make my life extremely happy, grateful, fulfilled and efficient if you did. :D
Is it possible to make your auto slide feature into a keyswitch, so that you can write riffs with overlapping notes, and be able to use slide when needed without going into automation
Just bought the software as it sounds monstrous! Is there a PDF guide with detailed explanations of how to program well in this? I played around with it last night but couldn't get mutes to sound right, it'd be nice to have a reference guide of how velocities affect articulations etc.
Hi there! We just released patch 3.1 which includes extra chuggy palm mutes, as well as a basic manual :) Make sure to check your email. We'll be releasing more informational videos the coming days
I just bought the product, i have 3 questions: 1, why is the palm mute have the sustain completely removed? ive checked the DI wav files and cross compared with other big guitar generators, and your one seems like only the pick attack exists on a palm mute, there is no roaring chugs allowed. 2. Why is the midi need to be all pushed 1 octave up? al other guitar virtual instruments, including Odin II, have the same rough placement for notes, but Odin III need to shift everything an octave up to match the correct notes, due to problem 1 above, a second guitar brand would need to accompany Odin III, but al this octave shifting for every pattern is most unwelcome. 3. Why does the palm mutes ping pong pan with a half second delay in each ear? this is very unusual, i have tried all the settings and articulations but cannot seem to prevent this bug.
Hi there! 1) We indeed opted for semi closed, closed and dead mutes because users asked a lot for this after Odin 2, however , longer more open palm mutes have been the #1 request so far with Odin 3, so we spent this week sampling them and they will be added to Odin patch 3.1 coming in a few weeks. 2) Odin 3 has so many articulations that the bottom octaves have all been filled up with keyswitches. This is the only way to fit them all. Odin 2 had the same octave placement as Odin 3, but “octave drop” allowed you to change it. Now because of all the articulations, this is no longer possible. 3) I don’t think there’s a half second delay, but a slight delay may be happening on fast mutes because of realign phase? Perhaps try turning it off for the passage where this gets in the way. We are also introducing a knob that will allow you to fine-tune the realign phase timing in 3.1 .
@SolemnTones Hi, 1. Thats fantastic news! :) yes, i mean you have 3 palm mute articulations and to my ears they are all short, so i dont think the users will mind if your "half palm mute" will become the new longer one, as i initially thought it would be that. 2. Understood, thank you. 3. This ping pong delay is even in this video you made, please listen to the video on the first chuggy breakdown section with headphones, its only on slow chugs, its like each chug goes in each ear, 1 by 1. Thank you for your prompt and honest reply.
Why make several different string selection keyswitches? How did you decide against making MIDI-channel string selection? That's the only real truly viable way to program guitar.
Do you have any idea how long roughly that patch 3.1 will be released? I know its very difficult to judge timing on these things, but like will it be weeks, months or years?
If you haven't heard the original cover, you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/wLJR2QXl6lQ/видео.html
Sounds pretty killer🔥
Thank you!

Gonna be the first bit of audio software I buy for my new production laptop.
But what about a tremolo articulation for black metal?

This is a sick plugin. Makes me wish I didn't play guitar so I'd have even more of a reason to buy it 😂
I think I will get it anyways, just for tapping out stuff and understanding my own riff-salad 😆
@@procrasti-nation9517 im on the fence about it. I hear some people use it to help them write stuff. I'll probably end up getting it too tbh
Awesome video! Just a quick reminder: the song is called "to" (not into) the hellfire :)
woops thanks hha
How does the velocity triggers work ?

Is Djent/Doom guitar a possibility with this?
I have a question.... how are you so damn awesome? Leave some cool for the rest of us! I'm gonna go chug Odin 3 into oblivion *headbangs*

Does the Odin have a dedicated tremolo articulation or do you need to just program them manually?
