- Опубликовано: 6 сен 2024
- In this week's procedure video, Dr. Carter deals with a challenging case. This patient is a diabetic that has not had his nails trimmed in approximately one year. The nails have curved downward and are now digging into the patient's skin. This can be very painful and causes concern for the development of ulcers. Watch as Dr. Carter trims these nails to prevent wounds from developing in the future!

The toenails flying every where got me. Not being negative just the obvious and This was the quickest cut job I have ever seen.
Where do you think they go?
I am really worried about his feet. The top of his feet were really red and swollen. I hope they were able to smooth off those sharp points she missed. What was the huge rush?
I was wondering the same
Gee,maybe they did more off camera .
Chill. You saw only a portion of his appointment.
@@cynthiafisher6374 Well excuse me for caring about this gentleman.
I agree, with a diabetic person especially, she should have taken her time and been more careful and thorough. Seeing the nails after they dremel them would have ended the video nicely, as far as seeing the transformation. Seems like she just did a chop job, way too quick.
I'm sorry, but this video does not come across as being a good job done!
Never seen podiatrists leaving a pointy nail 😮
Es que falta que le pase el machete
Looked like a horrible job
I agree. That's how the most of them. They keep saying it doesn't look good now but in due time.
they haven't been -likely a democrat
TOE BROTHER and DC DOCTOR are the best .this was very bad job!
She's the worst!
Oh stfu she did fine you’re just a moron
Came here to say exactly that … WTF was she doing?
The doctors in this practice barely know how to hold and use the clippers.
😂
I really would have liked to see them after the dremel. I’ve tried to never be critical of any of the podiatrist videos, but this really needed the finished product! They looked so chopped up. Pointed edges and needed more cutting before smoothing and thinning-I think, because of previous videos I’ve seen. I realize he’ll be coming back but this one was kind of frustrating. 🥺
Yes, showing more of the process would have been more informative. This one procedure was limited in sharing what would happen next.
Then don't comment.
These females are so crude in their treatments. Always in a rush, drawing blood 8 out of 10 times. Yuck😢
I would have thought the same thing had I not listened to her. He’s sensitive, diabetic, and under the tips of those toenails is an open sore waiting to happen. And he has poor circulation and wouldnt heal. She says it’s not cosmetic, it’s about his health.💗
Right
I hope he let's you film them the next time. I'm interested in seeing the update and progression of his care. I bet he feels a while lot better just after this trim!
They dont do follow ups
Sometimes they do.
What looks like incomplete chipping, leaving seemingly nail on my the top on the toe, is Ski she, the Dr, explained that at the very beginning. When you got your Dr degree, you might have missed that day, in class. 😮
Dreadful work I would want a refund!!
Very sloppy work!
Completely agree!!!! Wham Bam with clippings flying everywhere and no regard for the patient. I’ll stick to The Toe Bro and DC Foot doctor videos, they are much slower and do much, much cleaner work than this practice.
@@carolfuller7123. We didn't get to see the sanding, which is the real work. M
And u can do better?
I always feel these women rush their patients. Clip em and move on to the next patient. More dollars made that way
It’s not cosmetic. It’s about his health. She did a good job preventing ingrown toenails
It makes me feel bad how fast you go.... The blood on his big toe could've easily been avoided if you took a bit more time looking at his toes. It's not a race, especially if he's diabetic.... I don't get this channel.
No it couldn't have it was caused by the dead skin hardening like a scab and 99 percent of the time it isnt an issue but this time she lifted it to clip and it torn the skin as a it came away. Not her fault at all slow or fast. Tired of comments from people who never have or will do this trying to tell a professional what's what
Oh and yes often they do need to work quickly because they do alot of free work with elderly and homeless on top of normal patients. No good deed goes unpunished because of people like you
If he’s diabetic you need to slow down
It’s a red flag for me when they say they aren’t there to make the nails pretty. 🚩I see so many podiatrists that are able to cut toenails and make them look attractive.
What's the rush, Doc?
She will have other patients also she was delicate on the toe where the nail had penetrated the skin.
@@danaodriscoll9261jhh ch❤😢😢❤❤❤❤a is 😅❤
😂😂😂. She does it like me.
I've seen other professionals be a bit slower and deliberate as never to cut anything that's still attached with blood supply.
I don't care of your in a rush and rough with most average patient care, but with diabetic people you have got to be more careful.
You were literally using leverage to break off mail, rather than using got, sharp nippers that don't squeak.
Good thing I'll never go there and let others know... I do live right off I26
She needs more training, poor guy she did a really bad job
What you're seeing, the white stuff that so many ugly comments are addressing, is skin. It's attached, this
SHE LEAVES IT ATTACHED!
EASE. UP. 😂
That is not a good job
You are too rough and for some reason in a big hurry
She left so much
U usually do a good job trimming…not this time…sorry
I loved watching the big transformation here. This is what makes me glad podiatrists exist. Sometimes you can no longer reach (mom recently broke her foot and was glad for some help).
Nao entendi nada porque nao tem traducao .. Que trabalho horrivel. !!! Tudo desparelhi e sem lixar .. Alem de tudo oarecua o pe de defunto .. Nao curti !!!
This professional appears to be rough and almost angry in their handling of the patient's feet. 😢
Tell me about it. Nothing professional with these women
You were way to rough on this patient. More care and a lot more nail off would’ve been more appropriate.
Slow your roll Kylie. We didn’t see his feet after the nurses went over them with the grinder. I’m sure there was a significant difference once they were completely finished.
Are you a physician? If not don’t assume or comment!
I agree.very poor work
They never show the finished work that’s what they hate watching their videos they do sloppy work!!!!
I don’t wish to be rude, but you need glasses 100%.
You’re snapping at the nails and most time you have nothing to cut! Please take more care🙏🏻
Ok so why don't you do it then?
Poor guy has serious circulation issues. I love your leopard print footwear
No where near as good as DC foot Doctor.
DC Foot Doctor and Dr. Nail Nipper way better
Toe bro too!!
AGREED!!!!!!
I don’t know, you haven’t been to my podiatrist! First time with her is my last time!
No one compares to DC foot doc
Great video. The doctors are so kind to their patients.
Dr Carter was trained by the best, Cleveland Clinic.
what a lot of people dont know, is those nippers can actually cut your down to the bone. Way more powerful than just for toenails.
If you ever see a big set of nippers that have a two point pivot design, those are actually for cutting bone in surgery.
This is the fast one that never finishes the nails or goes over them; frustrating
And does an awful job!!! She needs glasses! !
They all do!
I agree this girl goes way too fast. Seems like she might wound the patient 🤷♀️
All you ladies just go too fast like it quantity over quality. They can look better if you take the time.
Bro how come you became a toenail professional! You are literally so rough!
Take care to slow down so more precise. Less snapping 0ff. More gentle care?
How about finishing the treatment properly???
Para facilitar o corte, tem que colocar os pés de molho, para cortar as unhas mais curtas e dar- lhes um formato arredondas.
It isn't cosmetic, it's about his health.
Toenail shrapnel going everywhere.
Really uncomfortable to watch….in my opinion the doctor was way too fast and rough with the patient’s toes. That plus it lacked good camera angles.
Dr. Carter, awesome job with those toenails. Can we talk about YOUR SHOES? ❤
Yes this was very under par.
Nail edges left uneven and pointed. This could lead to a health hazard. Not very professional work.
His skin grew up under the nail. She can’t cut that and not draw blood. Eventually that skin will go down with reg visits.
Terrible work
I cut off black mirror to watch this😂
Oil your trimmers. That squeaking is annoying as all hell
Do you all file the nails after you cut them?
I've seen them use a Dremel to smooth them.
Podiatry nurse here….. podiatry is medical, not a pedicure salon. With diabetic feet you have to be super careful not to cut the skin and risk infection.
That's it ??😢 oh my gosh poor guy got poor job.
A real professional will cover that nail as they cut it. Who needs a nail hitting them in the eye at 30 mph?🤦🏼♀️
I agree, even as a podiatry student myself that annoyed me a lot - causes unnecessary mess on the floor afterwards too🤷♂
She. Left. To. Earlier. She. Did. Not. Complet. Her. Training. Worse. Toenail. Cutting. I. Ever. Saw.
Great job as usual Dr. Carter. One question though: Did Dr. Barko leave?
wow this was so hard to watch why wasn't more care taken i though said they were diabetic so i expected it to be slower and careful because if there are open wounds or infections etc this can be a huge issue. Also if the treatmement causes issues that can be very serious many diabetic have died due to foot related issues.
She seems a little agressive to me.
Like it’s a money maker. Less they take off means you must return sooner. Toebro goes slow. Asks if it hurts. Takes the nail down low as it can go. This is just poor work.
I cannot imagine ever allowing my own toenails to ever get that long.
Once u get old with no one to live with u will most likely exp that whether u like it or not.
Many are not able to do their own nailcare. Due to many reasons.
doesnt know how to clean properly..
Why are his feet so red
Just pushing the nail back into the, decides to use the Dremel. I usually don’t watch a video when they use the Dremel. It looks like it just slushes the particles of the debris back into the toes!
Brak higieny , jak można tak okropnie zapuścić paznokcie? Lenistwo ?
What about the fungus? Why leave a sharp point? This job was sub par at best. Did she wear a mask? Horrible job. He's not well. Should of talked to him and made him feel comfortable at least.geeze!!!
Do you soak the clients feet?
It must be a preference with regards to that skin that has grown under the toenails. I have noticed that when the skin is tugged or moved a bit
What's causing the curling over
She doesn't half cut the nails right
We just came back from KY. We were visiting family there in North Middletown. We live in Washington State on the pacific coast. I was wanting to stop by since I’m a fan of your practice, but didn’t get to squeeze it in. Maybe next year 😊
what is that fibrous bitnunder the nail?
Considerou pronto?
Que horror! Eu vi que a unha parecia de pedra com areia embaixo. Mas ficou assim?
Eu não acredito. Isso não é podologia, por favor.
Obviously not trained properly to do this
Ik vind u brutaal in u handelingen
Да,мадам!Вам далеко до китайских мастеров-подологов!!!(((
What causes the nails to curl?
Would have liked to see the drummel work!
Wowsers what an awesome set of nails. The guy must have a lot of vitamin E in his diet to get that much growth in a year!
Ужасная работа😳бедный пациент! Надеюсь, он больше не вернется к такому специалисту, как Вы! Вам надо работать мясником на рынке
You start by saying ‘cut toes in order so you don’t forget any toes… sometimes I forget toes.’ You are a podiatrist?
Am I strange that certain nails grow at different rates? My right for finger grows so much quicker
This is a sloppy job. Presentation is everything.
My man has steroid induced diabetes. He has RA and he's gained a lil weight. Do he can't bend over as easily to clip his toenails. I do the them. I have a great pair of nippers, sidewall cleaners, sidewall rasp, metal file and my files I use on my acrylic nails (for his big toes). I make sure there's about a half mm from his hypernicium. He gets mad at me n treks me I leave them too long.... am I?
My partners toe nails are starting to curl under
Another great video ladies. 👍😀😺💙
¿El hecho que el paciente sea diabético incide en que tenga onicomicosis en las uñas de lo pies?
Sí
She did a horrible job
Lavoro fatto proprio male.
Terrible JOB!
I agree 😮 Shocking
Why?
GNARLY
Ощущение, что работает первый раз😏
Blunt clippers. Rushed job. End result looks terrible. Do better. 👎
Please tell me that at some point you talked WITH the patient instead of just about him and around him. Infantalising older adults drives me mental.
Seemed rushed and not very caring
enjoyed this video!
Deus continue lhe capacitando minha querida pódoliga amei seu trabalho tão delicado e perfeito ❤
Ongelooflijk.... dat men zich zo verwaarloost
Someone should have gotten him in sooner, this is ridiculous
Well that was horrific………. My Goodness 😳😳😳
Why not soak the nails before
Please note not to tell her do anything to ur feet
That's how you're leaving his nails?! Ragged with sharp points? Why didn't you file them smooth? Not a professional job
Are his feet so red because of the diabetes?
So great!❤
These toenails look like gold jewelry.
Too rough to watch !
She needs to get some WD40 on those squeaky trimmers!
