You are SO inspiring! I just bought the Schmincke Print medium but will def try out only oil paint as well. Is there a special kind of paper you are using? Is it damp? Thank you so SO much again for sharing your knowledge and ways. Much love from Norway :)

Thank you. Are you running the paper through dry, or are you soaking it first? Great vid. I have access to a press and want to try this!

Printing on dry paper, I didn't think the prints turned as well on soaked paper, but I'm not sure everyone agrees with that. I guess it's personal taste.

I have 3 questions: What kind of paper do you use with oil based media ? Do you wet the paper, like with water soluble media? Do you use gesso as a ground on the paper?

HI I usually use Reeves BFK, but any good print paper would probably be good. No need to soak the paper, some do but I think it's better if you don't. There is no reason I can think of to gesso the paper. JOHN DAWSON

These are monotypes, not monoprints. It becomes a monoprint in recoloring the ghost print.
