    Very clever design. I think warming a greenhouse in fall or spring would be a perfect use for it.

    Hot air rises and cold air falls.With that small of a box it might not matter but your 2 top mounted intake and exhaust pipes might just be direct feeding each other the air from top of the box only.Maybe better to place the pipes near the bottom on opposite ends kf the box?Also maybe vary the fan speed(cfm) to see if the slower flow will give the tube more time to heat up the air before pushing it into the box.

    would painting the inside of the barrel and pipes black help?

      No because the barrel needs to reflect the light not absorb it. Painting the vent tube? Maybe.

    Please for love of god try the metal 55 gallon drum sand battery ill send whatever parts you cant afford or need ill even send hiw to setup everything as i really dont wanna make a video showing that sand battery does work please again ill cover the dang cost to save my face and voice from internet exposure

    What about secure mount several of these to a 10x10x8 standalone shed and see if they heat the shed noticeable faster than just full sun heat infiltration.??? compare with a small space heater?

      Secure mount to shed roof using plexiglass instead of the sran wrap
