Whenever I feel the need for a pick me up, I find a DMK video to watch. This family is older now and I don't know what they're up to these days. But I hope this Dad and especially his two children understand they've left a lasting legacy that still brings joy to people across the world.

I remember the day that Dicken took over the DM Facebook page. I looked through the posts thinking that DMK was just the coolest idea. I really enjoyed seeing them in the Spirits in the Forest movie. I was introduced to DM by my parents at a very young age, so the story of Dicken and his children really resonated with me. I think it’s touching that as a dad, Dicken can share his love for Depeche Mode with his children, which brings a whole new meaning and significance to the music. 🖤

After watching the "Ghost in the Shell" trailer and having it revive my long dormant love of this song, I've been looking through covers and remixes and I had to stop everything to comment on this one because it is beautiful, esta divino and it brought a tear to my eye and a warmth I didn't know I needed. I still come back to DMK... cuz they are amazing. Hitting those cans on time, woa, it's so pleasurable.. same with Black Celebration when he hits the triangle... IDK even how to explain it. It's just magic. The arrangement is so so so brilliant. Synthesizers are used in music to emulate other sounds, and they use stuff to emulate synthesizers... it's pure genius. Creative as hell.
This is so adorable I don't even know what to do with myself. Thank you so much for setting such a good example for your children and bring love and joy to their lives with music. PLus you are exposing them to great music :) More fathers should be like you! LOve. xOx
