It's a very solid release from C4. Anytime you have a flavor that really combines multiple flavors into one, like Skittles, it can be hit or miss. This one was a hit.

Glad you like the reviews and glad we can share them together. That was actually the concept I had when I started buying Zero Pack. I thought it would be a good way for me and my audience to get a monthly energy drink plan, then I could do an unboxing Livestream once a month, which I do. Then, I could unbox the drinks, try them out at the same time as you guys and then discuss the flavors!!! It was brilliant. The flaw in the plan? Well, not everyone wanted to sample 5 energy drinks all in one night, and even if they didnt drink them all, they wouldn't stay fresh overnight, so it would sort of be a waste of money and energy drinks. SO, instead, Zero Pack mails it out on the 1st of the month. I wait until the 2nd weekend of the month to do my Livestream so that I can taste them in the Livestream and then discuss witheveryone else what they though since they had 2 weeks to try out the 5 drinks. My livestream is actually coming up this weekend, Sunday night, and this Zero Pack looks like the best one so far!

It’s funny seeing how the comments vary, but my first impression was a very strong citrus flavor. Like you said there’s the sour aspect and that carries over to the lemon, lime, and even orange. I personally eat my reds and purples last and would’ve liked more from those two. If they have an even five way balance of flavors, I can see how the citrus is dominant. That said, because Bang’s Radical Scadattle has a stronger red and purple flavor, I prefer that drink on taste alone. I did get a full case of the C4 Skittles so I still have 10 more chances to change my mind. 😂
I want to try this, and C4 if you read this, you should make a Sour Skittles version. Not sour like all the other "sour" energy drinks. They're all pretty weak, so make it legit as sour as sour skittles. I ate a bag yesterday and my tongue was raw afterwards and the last few bites it kinda hurt to chew. This was a regular bag, a king size bag would have destroyed my mouth. About 15 years ago I bought a big $4 bag from the store and after eating maybe 1/3 my mouth was literally bleeding a little.

Im not sure if that flavor would sell well... or be approved by the FDA 😂 Have you tried the C4 Smart Electric Sour? Or C4 Sour Batch. They're pretty sour. DEFINITELY balanced out with some sweetness though. Just curious what you thought of those.
This drink started to show up near my 7/11 and Nom Nom stores. What’s weird about the Nom Nom store is that the C4 cans were not near the energy drink section, but are near the food inside the freezer. I picked up the drink and omg, it’s the best drink I’ve ever had!
Well, this is a lofty ambition for a flavor. Definitely not going to take that away from them. I don’t think it really tastes like Skittles in of itself as much as something like maybe if C4 had an “original” flavor spiked up with a Skittles finish. That being said, I do really enjoy this flavor and yeah they do pull off that balancing act in the blend on that finish. 👍🏻
Lofty ambitions...its what most companies are all about to succeed. Wont get far if you settle for subpar. Overall, I think they accomplished a great feat. Compared to all the other 'skittles-type' candy flavors out there, this is the closest...although I may need to do a video to confirm that 😂. Another thing I ask people to consider, is that if its pretty close to the flavor, and one of the closest ones, isn't that an achievement? I mean, theres NO SUGAR in this drink. How can you make a candy flavor without sugar? Thats one heck of a feat. Then, to get chemists to get all the proportions of the different flavors, so that you can taste each and every one...its a pretty big deal. I think some people just get too hung up on the fact that it's branded Skittles and are expecting an exact replica. That'll never happen... well, maybe it will with Swedish Fish 😂😂😂😭😭
I would certainly love to see a battle of the candy flavors! I hope that C4 does some of the other Skittles flavors as well, like the Berry Skittles or maybe even the sour Skittles! Sour Skittles honestly sounds amazing.
It will be interesting to see if they do anything else. I was a little surprised it was all one flavor. I thought they might do 5 skittles flavors, like the 4 Starburst flavors...but no, its all in one.

These should be at supplement stores this week. I think you'll see this one well before the Watermelon. Still a few weeks before that comes out....from what Ive heard from other 3rd party sources.

That sounds like the list.... although I may skip the purple kiddles because I KNOW it is more grape and the Radical is much closer to actual skittles.
This drink I found at a vitamin shoppe near me. Skittles C4 really does taste like Skittles! Holy cow! I thought I just ate a mouthful of the actual candy. This is very accurate, same with the cherry flavored starburst C4 as well. Very good! Both I would rate as 9.7/10. I got so excited to drink it, I accidentally knocked over a little of it. Oh well, gives me an excuse to get more of it. I bought a case so far of Reign orange dreamsicle, C4 Smart energy peach mango nectar, and now I have coming a case of C4 Cherry starburst. I may have to get a case of this next. lol. My room is going to look like yours eventually, in that caffeine intervention video you did a while back. I love your videos CaffeineMan! I freaking love this drink. I think its my new #1 for flavor. I hate how they don't disclose the amounts of the ingredients though. Ghost has spoiled me in that area.
I agree, a lot more companies should really put the dosages. Unfortunately, it is true what some other reviewers have said to me and in their reviews, "People only buy these for the caffeine and flavor." Nobody buys Reign for the preworkout ingredients. They buy it for flavor and caffeine. That being said, in my original review of C4, I do go over the dosages in C4 and they are on the low end of the effective dosage chart. Far more so than Reign or Bang.
I just got to try this Skittles C4 a few days ago and I thought it was good, but not overly crazy about it. To me it seemed like it had more of a regular fruit punch like taste to it and was trying to notice that Skittles like taste out of it but was having trouble doing so. It's not bad but I thought I would have noticed more of that Skittles like taste to it. Maybe it was just me and it's better. than what I am saying it is. I know that when I did have this, I was not feeling the greatest had a little bit of a cold so that might have affected how it tasted. I should probably give this another try when I am feeling a lot better to see if I notice this time more of that Skittles like taste to it.
Id definitely say to give it another try. It could have been the getting over a cold...or many other factors. Sometimes you just get a bad can or it could take 2 or 3 cans to realize how great it is. I mean, Im not a fan of fruit punch, at all, so I definitely didnt get any fruit punch out of it. Let me know on the second time around!

It tastes more like Grape out of all the skittles. C4 could do a better job incorporating all the other flavors to find a happy medium with the flavors IMO. It is not bad but needs some tweaking to balance "Tasting the rainbow"
Its funny how different taste buds pick up on different things! I almost didnt get the grape up front. it was near the middle. Im actually curious, the more that I drink, if I will more or less of each flavor? Like, maybe they added just a touch more and a touch less so that each can tastes slightly different? 😂😂😂Time will tell, I guess.
This flavor has me a little confused. It was good, but couldn’t really pick out any of the skittles flavors. Had more of a punch/mixed fruit kind of vibe to me. Solid drink. But I want a true red skittle flavor soon!
Ive had a lot of fruit punches AND I don't like fruit punch, so Ive been strongly disagreeing with anyone saying its a fruit punch 😂😂😂 I don't strongly disagree much BUT I do know we all have different tastes buds and opinions, so I dont give people too hard of a time...but if anyone says this is a fruit punch... its the BEST Darned fruit punch on the market!!!!
These collabs have been hitting a lot of stores as of late. Ive seen the Starburst in more stores than I have in the past and hoping the same goes for Skittles.
Every time I drink the Alani Nu Cosmic Stardust I think it tastes exactly like purple Skittles. Hopefully C4 will create separated versions of the flavors
And thanx for the clarification on the bada tingles I thot wen I was drinking energy drinks with that in it and I would get tingly and ichy I thit I was having a allergic reaction and was getting a bit nervous soo I stopped drinking them.
I think they nailed it with the starburst ones , this one tastes how I expected it to taste like bang radical sedatical or purple kiddles , it's definitely a good flavor like I'm definitely will buy it again, they should have did a little bit more with the can like they did with the starburst they had the starburst on the side of the can and everything it could have had the Skittles you know on the can and just made it look more aesthetic , but hey still a top flavor I picked up double at my store I should have grabbed more but I like it 😊👍

I’m not that much of a Skittles person, but this drink with Skittles flavors in it, it must be really delicious like the Starburst flavors! I’ve tried some sweet Skittles drinks before like their Taco Bell freeze drinks although it has 41g of sugar. The C4 is a better option for me since it has no sugar in it unlike the Taco Bell Skittles freeze drink.

It is "officially" released as of today so any Vitamin Shoppes or GNC that were holding on to it to put it on the shelves Feb1st, should have it on the shelves. I havent seen it at any gas stations but most gas stations near me dont usually carry C4.
Over the summer I was vacationing in Florida. Had heard about the starburst flavors releasing. Looked all over while on vacation and couldn’t find them. But then went into a small mom and pop shop and they had the starburst c4s randomly at like $5 a can, I decided to pass thinking I’d see them again. Nope. Never have. Have a friend who works for Walmart he told me they got some starburst c4s in, just one case and one case of skittles. By the time I got there only 3 cans of skittles and no starburst. Lol. Not much luck for me.
Well, hopefully you bought the last 3 cans of Skittles... and LOVED THEM!!! 😂 As for Starburst, do you have any supplement stores near you? Most of the supplement stores regularly carry most of the C4's so they'd definitely have the Starburst. Stores like Walmart and Target, near me, have crap for selection and don't even carry C4. Luckily enough a few gas stations have picked it up and Ive found them at Sunoco, Speedway, Seasons and Red's.

I agree, but, they are a supplement company that focuses on preworkout supplements, so they are going to cater to that audience. To be perfectly honest, Im surprised they have continued to release new drinks each year for the C4 Smart. HAPPY by it, but still surprised since they have such a huge preworkout community. They do have another C4 Smart coming out this month though so hopefully that cheers you up!
It's interesting you tasted lime. Lime isn't one of the skittle flavors anymore! They replaced it, and the green one is green apple flavor. Were there any hints of that?
Definitely tasted lime. After a quick google search (because I was wondering if I was crazy for tasting lime), a few articles said that Skittles switched back (again) to the lime at the end of 2021, getting rid of apple.

People have been weighing in pretty heavy on this. Some people say its dead-on for Skittles while others say its good, but Starburst was closer. Interesting to hear everyones thoughts. At least everyone likes it... so far! 😂 I do like it better than the Starburst, but then again, I was never a big Starburst fan to begin with. Loved Skittles though... so maybe that has something to do with it.
Maybe I have a bad palate. I’ve tried the skittles. While it was okay, didn’t really wow me. Maybe I drank it too cold but it really didn’t tatsted as sweet as you describe it. Didn’t really tasted like skittles too. Just tasted like candy and not a particular one. Kinda bummed out.
Oh man, Im sorry to hear that! I thought it was a really great job. I mentioned this to someone else in the comments that maybe its worth a second try. Theres always the off-chance that you may have gotten a sub-par can. During the winter, cans will expand and contract with the freezing temperatures. Ive literally received 3 cases in the past month that has one can ready to burst because it started to freeze and expand. That can affect the flavor. So, I say a second can may be worth while. If you say you still think its ok, I guess I owe you $3... minus 20% for my coupon code of course.

I tried the C4 starburst, but only tried the cherry and strawberry one. The strawberry one is the only one that I can drink half of. Their red flavored/cherry lines I can’t get into. C4 doesn’t do it right for me personally when it comes to their cherry stuff.. it’s just off tasting. I favor ghost energy drinks now, barely touch the c4. Ghost energy is far more superior with their flavors then C4 but C4 packs a harder caffeine buzz. Maybe it’s just me.?
Is it normal to have a part of your body itch when drinking C4? Because when I drank the C4 Starburst Orange, my legs itched for a short little bit. And a guy I know that works out put a couple scoops of the C4 Powder and he was itching on his legs, wrists, and head.
Is there anywhere I can order a variety of single energy drinks? I see the big variety packs at SAMs like BANG but I have certain flavors I want to try or buy more of without buying a full case. ~Reneé
XN Supplements lets you buy individual cans. They dont have a TON of selection, but a decent selection. Overall, buying singles can be expensive, just because its not cost effective to do. There are a few other individual sites too but you can pay anywhere from $4 to $6 a can, not including slightly higher than normal shipping.

It would be interesting if each drink tasted slightly different. Like, they're giving just just a touch more of a different flavor in each can. 😂
I want to try this, and C4 if you read this, you should make a Sour Skittles version. Not sour like all the other "sour" energy drinks. They're all pretty weak, so make it legit as sour as sour skittles. I ate a bag yesterday and my tongue was raw afterwards and the last few bites it kinda hurt to chew. This was a regular bag, a king size bag would have destroyed my mouth. About 15 years ago I bought a big $4 bag from the store and after eating maybe 1/3 my mouth was literally bleeding a little.

Have you tried the C4 Smart Electric Sour? Or C4 Sour Batch. They're pretty sour. DEFINITELY balanced out with some sweetness though. Just curious what you thought of those.
This drink started to show up near my 7/11 and Nom Nom stores. What’s weird about the Nom Nom store is that the C4 cans were not near the energy drink section, but are near the food inside the freezer. I picked up the drink and omg, it’s the best drink I’ve ever had!
Im wondering if they are short on shelf space so they are just trying to get in wherever possible. 😂

Well, this is a lofty ambition for a flavor. Definitely not going to take that away from them. I don’t think it really tastes like Skittles in of itself as much as something like maybe if C4 had an “original” flavor spiked up with a Skittles finish. That being said, I do really enjoy this flavor and yeah they do pull off that balancing act in the blend on that finish. 👍🏻
Lofty ambitions...its what most companies are all about to succeed. Wont get far if you settle for subpar. Overall, I think they accomplished a great feat. Compared to all the other 'skittles-type' candy flavors out there, this is the closest...although I may need to do a video to confirm that 😂.
Another thing I ask people to consider, is that if its pretty close to the flavor, and one of the closest ones, isn't that an achievement? I mean, theres NO SUGAR in this drink. How can you make a candy flavor without sugar? Thats one heck of a feat. Then, to get chemists to get all the proportions of the different flavors, so that you can taste each and every one...its a pretty big deal. I think some people just get too hung up on the fact that it's branded Skittles and are expecting an exact replica. That'll never happen... well, maybe it will with Swedish Fish 😂😂😂😭😭

I would certainly love to see a battle of the candy flavors! I hope that C4 does some of the other Skittles flavors as well, like the Berry Skittles or maybe even the sour Skittles! Sour Skittles honestly sounds amazing.
It will be interesting to see if they do anything else. I was a little surprised it was all one flavor. I thought they might do 5 skittles flavors, like the 4 Starburst flavors...but no, its all in one.

This drink I found at a vitamin shoppe near me. Skittles C4 really does taste like Skittles! Holy cow! I thought I just ate a mouthful of the actual candy. This is very accurate, same with the cherry flavored starburst C4 as well. Very good! Both I would rate as 9.7/10. I got so excited to drink it, I accidentally knocked over a little of it. Oh well, gives me an excuse to get more of it. I bought a case so far of Reign orange dreamsicle, C4 Smart energy peach mango nectar, and now I have coming a case of C4 Cherry starburst. I may have to get a case of this next. lol. My room is going to look like yours eventually, in that caffeine intervention video you did a while back. I love your videos CaffeineMan! I freaking love this drink. I think its my new #1 for flavor. I hate how they don't disclose the amounts of the ingredients though. Ghost has spoiled me in that area.
I agree, a lot more companies should really put the dosages. Unfortunately, it is true what some other reviewers have said to me and in their reviews, "People only buy these for the caffeine and flavor."
Nobody buys Reign for the preworkout ingredients. They buy it for flavor and caffeine. That being said, in my original review of C4, I do go over the dosages in C4 and they are on the low end of the effective dosage chart. Far more so than Reign or Bang.

Just had it this afternoon and its my favorite c4 drink so far, I was surprised when I found it in a small no name gas station

I just got to try this Skittles C4 a few days ago and I thought it was good, but not overly crazy about it. To me it seemed like it had more of a regular fruit punch like taste to it and was trying to notice that Skittles like taste out of it but was having trouble doing so. It's not bad but I thought I would have noticed more of that Skittles like taste to it. Maybe it was just me and it's better. than what I am saying it is. I know that when I did have this, I was not feeling the greatest had a little bit of a cold so that might have affected how it tasted. I should probably give this another try when I am feeling a lot better to see if I notice this time more of that Skittles like taste to it.
Yes, having a cold definitely alters your taste buds.
Id definitely say to give it another try. It could have been the getting over a cold...or many other factors. Sometimes you just get a bad can or it could take 2 or 3 cans to realize how great it is. I mean, Im not a fan of fruit punch, at all, so I definitely didnt get any fruit punch out of it. Let me know on the second time around!
Yeah I got the same vibe from it I was expecting it to taste like Skittles they nailed the starburst collabs that taste like a freaking starburst, I think you need to go back to the drawing board with this one it tastes like bang but better but they could have done better but maybe it's hard to get that flavor in a can 🤷

I think they nailed it with the starburst ones , this one tastes how I expected it to taste like bang radical sedatical or purple kiddles , it's definitely a good flavor like I'm definitely will buy it again, they should have did a little bit more with the can like they did with the starburst they had the starburst on the side of the can and everything it could have had the Skittles you know on the can and just made it look more aesthetic , but hey still a top flavor I picked up double at my store I should have grabbed more but I like it 😊👍

I’m not that much of a Skittles person, but this drink with Skittles flavors in it, it must be really delicious like the Starburst flavors! I’ve tried some sweet Skittles drinks before like their Taco Bell freeze drinks although it has 41g of sugar. The C4 is a better option for me since it has no sugar in it unlike the Taco Bell Skittles freeze drink.

Hey @Caffien Man, have they released the C4 Skittles flavor out to public yet, like you can find it at gas stations etc.
It is "officially" released as of today so any Vitamin Shoppes or GNC that were holding on to it to put it on the shelves Feb1st, should have it on the shelves. I havent seen it at any gas stations but most gas stations near me dont usually carry C4.

Over the summer I was vacationing in Florida. Had heard about the starburst flavors releasing. Looked all over while on vacation and couldn’t find them. But then went into a small mom and pop shop and they had the starburst c4s randomly at like $5 a can, I decided to pass thinking I’d see them again. Nope. Never have. Have a friend who works for Walmart he told me they got some starburst c4s in, just one case and one case of skittles. By the time I got there only 3 cans of skittles and no starburst. Lol. Not much luck for me.

As for Starburst, do you have any supplement stores near you? Most of the supplement stores regularly carry most of the C4's so they'd definitely have the Starburst. Stores like Walmart and Target, near me, have crap for selection and don't even carry C4. Luckily enough a few gas stations have picked it up and Ive found them at Sunoco, Speedway, Seasons and Red's.

According to many medical studies, those between the ages of 13-17 should consume no more than 100-150mgs of caffeine per day.
When you turn 18, you can magically go up to 400mgs.

I agree, but, they are a supplement company that focuses on preworkout supplements, so they are going to cater to that audience. To be perfectly honest, Im surprised they have continued to release new drinks each year for the C4 Smart. HAPPY by it, but still surprised since they have such a huge preworkout community.
They do have another C4 Smart coming out this month though so hopefully that cheers you up!
It's interesting you tasted lime. Lime isn't one of the skittle flavors anymore! They replaced it, and the green one is green apple flavor. Were there any hints of that?

After a quick google search (because I was wondering if I was crazy for tasting lime), a few articles said that Skittles switched back (again) to the lime at the end of 2021, getting rid of apple.

I do like it better than the Starburst, but then again, I was never a big Starburst fan to begin with. Loved Skittles though... so maybe that has something to do with it.

I mentioned this to someone else in the comments that maybe its worth a second try. Theres always the off-chance that you may have gotten a sub-par can. During the winter, cans will expand and contract with the freezing temperatures. Ive literally received 3 cases in the past month that has one can ready to burst because it started to freeze and expand. That can affect the flavor. So, I say a second can may be worth while.

I tried the C4 starburst, but only tried the cherry and strawberry one. The strawberry one is the only one that I can drink half of. Their red flavored/cherry lines I can’t get into. C4 doesn’t do it right for me personally when it comes to their cherry stuff.. it’s just off tasting. I favor ghost energy drinks now, barely touch the c4. Ghost energy is far more superior with their flavors then C4 but C4 packs a harder caffeine buzz. Maybe it’s just me.?
Is it normal to have a part of your body itch when drinking C4? Because when I drank the C4 Starburst Orange, my legs itched for a short little bit. And a guy I know that works out put a couple scoops of the C4 Powder and he was itching on his legs, wrists, and head.

XN Supplements lets you buy individual cans. They dont have a TON of selection, but a decent selection. Overall, buying singles can be expensive, just because its not cost effective to do. There are a few other individual sites too but you can pay anywhere from $4 to $6 a can, not including slightly higher than normal shipping.
