@@Ronnock I think that’s the case for sure. There are two sides I see. Probably has been on tour as well. No telling how he feels. On the slower parts he sounds very tired. Can be a lot of things. Just noticed it more and more.
@@troybaker8113 Yeah, those are fair observations, but somewhere in my heart I'd like to believe they still get goosebumps the way I do when they play songs like T&C. But yeah, every job has its tedium, even if you're living your dream playing in a band with your nearly literal brothers for decades, there's still going to be "paperwork" that needs to just be done.
@@Ronnock unfortunatly, dustin is very vocal about everything before vheissu. he dont like the material before vheissu anymore for many reasons. the main one is that he found his voice on vheissu and he dont like his vocals before.
HOLY FUCK, they killed the red death! i've wanted to see that song live for twenty years... at least i got this video.
In an interview they said they played a couple songs they've never played before but didn't mention which ones, wonder if this was one?
I Believe those were Betrayal As A Symptom, A Living Dance Upon Dead Minds and Beltsville Crucible.
I believe the latter two but betrayal is a symptom was a single. No way they hadn't played it before.
Me 2 bro
I saw these guys on their first tour opening up for face to face and the crowd went nuts never even hearing of them. This album sums up my late teens
Where Idols once stood has always been one of my favs. Wish they still made music like this.
The crowd singing gave me a goosebumps in Trust. That was amazing! Thanks TheRealConcertKing! You really are the real concert king.
i think thats eddie you here, but dont see. regardless, chills!
Their best album.. and forever one of my favorite albums.
Those lights during Where Idols Once Stood were incredible!
Great recording. They played where idols once stood in Boston in October and it was awesome. One of the best shows I've seen for sure
I remember playing that break down in Where Idols Once stood. I love that song.
This is crazy good footage. Nice work my guy!
One of the few songs they play with a traditional solo. The Red Death!
PLAY IT AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Underrated comment
Eds backing vocals on Trust 🔥
If we could only see us now 😎
God Dustin’s yell is like a Grizzly Bear that had a nice roll around in honey
A friend of mine had a very similar description of his voice. I likened it to a very smoky but smooth Scotch
I think his nickname is The Bear
Underrated comment.
i can finaly hear so strange i remember you live ( the real version )
This band used to play live backwards and have crowds jumping on top to sing along with heart -- now everyone is holding up phones....
Like, they weren't facing the crowd when they played?
If this was in Jersey, the TAAATD song would be crowdkillling in a good way.
Crowds in Pittsburgh and Philly are so lame compared to these Cali shows. So jealous
Dustin seems ready for this to be over especially toward the end. 😂 tired
He's not a young buck anymore! There's a reason their music recently has taken a heavier and slower tempo.
Or do you think he's just not as connected to the material as he used to be?
