I remember hearing this song for the first time. AC2 was the game that made me fall in love with the franchise. It is the best in the series.

Ezio is my favorite assasin out of the whole ac series because his story is so highly detailed
He is really good but he was irritating in Ac2,he was great in Acbrotherhood and revelations.I think connor is better cause he is more tragic and darker as a person.
Everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of the execution scene, probably one of the saddest moments ever in AC. Ezio's games always touched me the most :P

Listening to this song and thinking about where Assassin's Creed is today makes me cry.
Screw Unity man. I defended this series after 3 was a disappointing mess, and heralded 4 as the savior of the series, proof that Assassin's Creed was still worth playing. I thought it was going to be the gap that led to a new modern day character.
I wanted 3 to be the end, the one that ended Desmond's story, with him triumphant over the Templars, and to be the new leader of the Assassins, I wanted that ending so badly, instead they killed hims off with so little effort that it's infuriating. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I believe Desmond is what carried this series, carried it to a hopefully happy conclusion. Instead, Unity has completely forgotten the Modern Day segment, save for a few ill-begotten cutscenes.
I finally admit it now, after several years.
Assassin's Creed is dead. And I don't think it will ever be back.

attallah soheyb Sadly I agree. Why ubisoft got greedy is beyond me. They now don't even care for the quality. I never finished rouge due to the fact that it reminded me of ac4. It makes me so sad to say goodbye and the fact that Desmond died just annoys me so much. Sadly its goodbye to the ac series for me and I might not see it again. One of the most annoying things as well was they used this song in rouge in the main menu and just changed it a little but I find rouge to be so bad that It shouldn't be there. Goodbye Assassins Creed :(
Your Worst Nightmare You never finished Rogue because it was too like AC4?are you insane, Black flag was the best Ac since 2 and reinvigorated the series, Just getting to play yet more out on the oceans was a dream, The fact it lead out into being a templar made it all the more interesting.

To end this war Altair was the greatest of all. He rebuilt the brotherhood from scratch ezio rebuilt it when it was almost done. Connor did not contribute for the well being of the brotherhood but instead focused his time on lee and Haytham

Can you blame him?Unlike the others Connor had no assassin background to grow under. All he had was an old man to teach him, hell at his point in time the assassins numbers were onthe dwindle enough. What group of assassins came to help Connor. His father ruined his life so that was his focus to end him. Him doing it because it was assassin vs templar was a bonus
But not a extreme one like Ezio or Altaï, he mainly did it for the money and learned in a long and slow process that the Assassin's are more then that.

Okay yes and no for 2 reasons 1. Ac3 is better because of the fight mechanics.
2. It is not as good as Ac2 because the story is a bit erm confusing at some points.

Assassin's Creed II is one of the best PC/console games ever. Not just for the graphics, but for the story, places, MUSIC, and I think the best video game character ever. EZIO

What here do they need to do about now, they made a game when he was a young teen, adult, and then middle aged. Then they made a movie with him old and we saw him dying, what should Ubisoft do now? How he kills Templars in Heaven? Stop fanboying about Ezio and get over it already, Ezio's time is over, now it's time to move to other Assassins, not to stay on Ezio.
The only way of seeing ezio again its in the final videogame put all the assasins (altair,ezio,edward,connor,arno,desmond) to fight together abstergo

I have played up towards 3, haven't touched 4, rogue or unity...they've milked the series at this stage, 1 was a solid good game, 2 was the best, most monumental, epic story in total and the best in the series, definetley one of the best games i've ever played, brotherhood was an awesome sequel and i had huge enjoyment playing it, revelations i believed was a great entry to the series, concluding ezios story very well and i think it was hugely underrated and a much better game than III, i thought 3, while a breath of fresh air in some ways, was trying to copy other games, had too many complicated/useless gimics and i thought the whole privateering thing took away from the whole assassin experience, it wasn't neccessarily a bad game, just not up to the assassin creed standard, as a once die hard fan, i'm wondering is it really worth continuing the story with IV, rogue and unity ?
Green Beats play four black flag and then finish it there I would. 4 is awesome probably second best imo after 2 and brotherhood I nearly saved the franchise only for ubisoft to go and undo it all. Idiots.
Blackflag is awesome , Roque is awesome, Unity got some nice plottwiste´s, Syndicate is something diffrent, Origins is Awesome, Odyssey is awesome and bring some new nice Edges 2 the Game :)

i must say that the assassins creed series is the best game ive ever played or heard of, everything in the game is epic beyond proportion and the storyline in all the games was extremely alluring itll draw you in and itll never let go, from altair's loyalty to ezio's desire for revenge. it was all too epic. im glad i bought the first game back in 2008

All assassins are awesome, but the story in III and IV kinda sucked... Also I think they should go to Japan, or somewhere in Europe between 18th an 20th century with some fresh mechanics...
i really like the idea of the next Assassin's Creed game to be in Japan, the main character would be a ninja who discovered the Assassins, joined them and founded the Japanese Assassins (my plot at least). but unfortunately, Ubisoft sad that they won't make any games that'll be in Japan and don't want the Assassins to be associated with ninjas. i think it would be great for a Ninja Assassin, as i personally like ninja warriors, and a big fan of the Assassin's Creed games. but they could at least make make the next game in China, since in the game, Chinese Assassins already exist. Assassin's Creed 5: Shaolin would be a cool game in my opinion.
It's not a bad idea, some kung fu action combined with assassin techniques like in Embers, it would be very awesome.
Martin Szekely Templers have no never went to East Asia, its just too ridiculous to make Japaneses Templers, unless they make another game with the same game engine and free running style but not Assassin Creed.

Martin Szekely Alex M i kinda feel like an interesting time for a game plot could be in around the 1400-1500 era of Wallachia (now called Romania/Transylvania) when Vlad Tepes III rules. maybe he could be a friend to one of the assassin, or the assassins try to get him to take part in their creed and become a brother since he and his order of the dragon already help on occasion but he constantly turns them down (maybe because he's not too keen on the idea of an order that has to disguise and hide since he's often portrayed as not being a fan of lies to achieve victory), but they persist to try and make him join not only for his safety, but the safety of his people.
and maybe it can all lead up to the fateful war he takes part in where he is finally defeated and sent to the headsmens axe, and the reason the church and neighboring nation refused to send him aid was maybe because templars were in control of the ottoman turks and some of the catholic church respectively, and they thought a man all about the protection and free will of his people who was brash and prone to conflict didnt fit in their perfect world.
maybe even have the apple be implimented in some way so that the assassin you play as who comes to befriend Vlad, much like Ezio with Da Vinci and Edward with Blackbeard, finds out how the world comes to portray vlad, and during his final moments, as your character fails to save him, they exchange some words and your character brings up how he will never be forgotten, and even novels with his war title as a name will be made, and he'll try to avoid letting Vlad know his portrayals in the future will be less than kind, at which Vlad will laugh and hint that he knows exactly how the world will look only at his cruelties and little of his kindnesses....and with that he will die, and your character will vow that he and his bretheren will not let his now lordless land truly fade away.
I agree Ezio had a lot of emotion with his family, love life, and most importantly his friends that he remembers on every game
yes ezio was was a character you could easily get attached to, that's probably why we all love this music so much, it reminds us of the drama and romance of ezio's life. it's just so much more personal. yes connor also lost his mother, but we never saw him bond with her like ezio did with his brothers and father.
Assassians Creed really took gaming and bonding with your character to another level
