The good ol' days, when AC was worth playing. My little brother actually reminded me of this video today. Last time he heard it he was 11 years old. Now he's 19. Time flies...
I'll never get over how well done this video is. Totally captures the essence of what the games were supposed to be- a lineage that ran down through generations for a PURPOSE. phenomenal.
You know, when some time passes - you can clearly see the difference in quality and production 10+ years later vs nowadays. No matter how good it was back then - times, methods, software. These all are changing, getting better and more complex, and high-tier references are coming one after another and creators compete with each other, which increases the top-level of creating process. in 99% of early 2010th youtube content you can clearly say 'yeah, this vid is from that time'. But this statement is totally not relevant regarding this particular video. The edit, the pace, the effects, the staging, the graphic design and motion-arts. It still looks 100000% legit for August of 2022. Even soundtrack. Although it has that vibe of oldschool DnB - it still sounds like legit DnB in 2022. Man. I'm just trying to say how talented author is. I was 15 y.o. when it came out. I was waiting for next AC game and this vid motivated me to start my early street workout. This vid is the definition of "awesome" and "beautiful" for me. Piece of art.
Only few games is as gorgeous and stunning as assassins creed games. I know these are a few years old so several games have passed them since but it is still amazing every year to see what a truly beautiful world Ubisoft is able to create
Amazing combinations of them 2 characters in this video - respect! THE legends: Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (1165 - 1257) - "When I was very young, I was foolish enough to believe that our Creed would bring an end to all these conflicts. If only I had possessed the humility to say to myself, I have seen enough for one life, I've done my part. Then again, there is no greater glory than fighting to find the truth." Ezio Auditore da Firenze (1459 - 1524) - "I have lived my life as best I could, not knowing its purpose, but drawn forward like a moth to a distant moon; and here at last, I discover a strange truth. That I am only a conduit, for a message that eludes my understanding."
This is honestly one of my favourite videos on youtube - it's so incredibly well shot and put together and every time that song comes on my itunes, I get a craving to watch this again!
after so many years i've found this videos again, so much nostalgia, this series used to be so amazing, thanks for this amazing tribute, still one of the best
I watched this video when it first came out 10 years ago, watching it today and I'm still blow away at how fantastically it is edited! Amazing work! Thank you for creating and sharing!
Nearly 8 years and I'm still in awe of your work here. I can't even begin to imagine the amount of time and frustration must have gone into getting some of those shots to sync up just right.
I'm seeing this for the millionth time, and every time I am amazed. Plz make more man, you're so underrated; Ubisoft should consider hiring you. Not even joking!
Finally found this, a 1000 liked videos ago. This is my favourite Assassin's Creed, fuck the current RPG shit. I want to climb high buildings, I want mystery. I'm playing Odyssey now and hating what this series has become with passion. And I haven't missed a single installment. They should have ended it in 2012.
i saw this video when i was 12 years old, now i´m 24 i still can't believe how you managed to do this whole thing 12 years ago, sick bro hahahaha, nostalgia trip, thank you for this
You did an fantastic job, ive been watching this for years and other trailers still cant catch up to this ! Im excited for all your future videos, you rock.
My friend very recently sent me this and my mind is blown. Absolute masterpiece which has made my heart full 💜 Altair, Ezio and Desmond will always be my main 3
6 years ago, and I still have to watch it every day!! 😁😁 it's just frickin awesome and I never get enough! greatly edited video, and awesome song for the background it fit the vid well. Keep up the good work! 😊
I want a video like this with the Kenway familyyy :( this is some of the best editing I've seen! reaally good job ! I visit the channel every now and then in hopes you've made something more like this :P
Remember seeing this back in HS. Reason why I actually started exercising. Felt freakin badass, now I realize how much of an angsty dweeb I was. Still come back to this video from time to time when work is shit. Miss my old stupid self. Thank you for creating a piece of art. Still stuck with me nearly a decade later.
Это не описать словами!!! Всё просто шикарно))) Очень красиво, качественно и ритмично. Явно делали очень долго и с душой. Если бы мог 1 000 000 лайков поставил бы!!!!!))))
Dude, Ezio's father Giovanni was an assassin, his brother was and Altair is his great great ... grandfather, SO HE WAS BORN INTO BROTHERHOOD... Only mario told him after his father died... And btw what do you know of altair's early life (when he became an assassin) The game starts when he was already an assassin.
TheDarthDestruktor Then why can Desmond access the memories of Ezio unless somehow Desmond is related to both Altair and Ezio but there both not related.Kinda weird I wonder how that works.
I remembered this song. I remember the person that made it didn't have director tools so he merged all the clips he had and had to manually change the camera angle so it matched. I was searching youtube for eyes then it came to me, beautiful lies. Such a good song.
Back here more than 10 years later, best assassin's creed music video ever made. I miss those old days where life was simpler and these games were worth the time.
MrFKful Completely agreed. It had this gripping and haunting vibe to it which I felt the sequel just lacked and felt more of a fairy tale in comparison to AC1... Its so hell bent on eliminating the flaws of AC1 that it completely forgets what made it so great in the first place.
Did u even play the first game? the story was the same the grafics werent good the animations were the same the climbing wasnt even near as good as the new ones... but my favourite was ac 3
Oh How I miss good old assassin's creed. Didn't play it since unity because I got sick of it getting worse every year and Unity was just too much. Well It certainly lost most of it's chamr after the desmon-story ended and since then there's no real backstory to it which just made such a huge difference.
It feels like completely other game after Desmond's story. And yeah Revelatons was the start of this lost feel. FIrst three AC1-2-Brotherhood are the best
Thank you so much for making this video. It been in my head for a long while now. I love how inspiring it is! It really gets my creative juices flowing. Do you have any music suggestions? Your music choices are great!
Yes, found it! I’ve been looking for this one all day! It suddenly popped into my head this morning and I became obsessed with finding it again. It had been a few years since id seen it and couldn’t remember who made it, the name of the song, or the artist. This is so well done! Easily the best one.
11 years passed and here I am again to find (still) the best music video for AC.
Yup 11 years passed and this is still god level editing 🔥
@@MegaSubramaniyan it really is
ME TOO. FINALLY! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS VIDEO FOR A LONG TIME
Same bro, same
Big same. :)
9 years in 10 days and still the best montage - tribute to Assassin's Creed ever made!
That's because newest instalments are too different and lack anything that connects them together. Plus hamps gave up on doing those.
Si.
Seven years later and I still admire your beautiful montage
Lorenzo porcoiddio se lo admiro

Starting the new year with this
That awkward moment when your cinematic abilities 📹 🎥 torched any other original Assasin videos

It's safe to say that it is a timeless edit and Ac fans will keep on watching this every year.
Ezio merely adapted the assassin life, Altaïr was born into it.
Totally proves my point. So Ezio was born into it aswell
MultiFusko
Altair is not related to Ezio. He is not his great, great grandfather. Read Domenico manuscripts in Auditore crypt in AC2.
He may not be RAISED and TRAINED as an assassin from his early age, But what I'm talking about here is that he is Born into the brotherhood...
TheDarthDestruktor
Then why can Desmond access the memories of Ezio unless somehow Desmond is related to both Altair and Ezio but there both not related.Kinda weird I wonder how that works.

origins is good fam
I think Origins is good but the combat looks ugly with those effects and number
Ezio's story was good, but Desmond being involved ruined the game

I just muted the video and played Pendulum's "Watercolour" instead. The result will blow your mind.
Selbst nach 10 Jahren immer noch ein Meisterwerk.
