Hello Rohan, this is Dr. TAMILSELVI MASI. Enjoyed every bit of this video . I am recently becoming a fan of Andrew huberman.Crisp and easy presentation of his eloborate podcasts.Good luck young man.
I truly enjoyed the video. Thanks. I wonder how you could measure if any of these things are improving your cognitive function. Do you feel better now than when you weren't doing these things? If you can't measure it, you can't manage it. Maybe you should try one thing at a time. You may also want to try lecithin for vivid dreaming. It really works. I take it every day and look forward to my dreams. Cheers!
thanks Elizabeth you raise a great point! These protocols are all grounded in peer reviewed studies which have measured cognitive function quantitatively e.g. scores on a working memory task. Anecdotally, I do feel doing some of these protocols helps with focus and productivity, but as you mentioned it is hard to tease out individual effects when you are employing multiple protocols simultaneously
Dear Rohan, What is the app you use to track your work sessions? In the video there is a moment when you show four sound tracks or timers, what are those and where to find them? Thank you for sharing, I.
quick question, when u do ur morning walk u do u always have to walk towards the sun cause sometimes i walk looking up but the back of my heads facing the sun & what duration should u spend
Great question. It's not necessary to face the sun, in fact it works on cloudy days too. Regarding duration, if its sunny you might only need 5-10 mins, but if its cloudy you will need longer. However, anytime outside is better than none. Sometimes I go outside just for a few mintues to stretch my legs
Congratulations Rohan What a beautiful demonstration on Self Care Exercise Diet Sunlight and Rest is so important to inculcate daily in one's Life to strengthen Your Mind and Immunity. Nice to see You reading The Word of God In Your daily Routine Loved Your Connection with Your Family Your Mum Your Grandpa It forms The Root of Life Keep it Up Take Care Ever Refreshed God's Blessings
I appreciate the time you put in making this video, but I think this so called productivity lifestyle seems more like an addiction and distraction. I enjoy my own natural lifestyle where I don't have do think what should I do to increase focus, I just do it naturally. I don't have to increase my alertness, my work priority will do it itself.
I totally agree! I think that's the ultimate aim, however, I do find it hard with so many distractions online and even in the world around us. This is why having certain practices can help with focus and getting work done. I don't do all the practices in this video every day, but just the combination I need to prime my brain to focus on the work ahead
Awesome video as everything Professor Huberman said in his podcasts is well presented!!! One thing I've noticed in the middle of watching your video (paused at the banana part, I know! 🤣) You ended your fast when you added milk to your coffee. 🥲
thank you! I would argue that a splash of milk in tea is not breaking the fast, as it will not cause a significant increase in insulin. But it may be different in different individuals
Hi @@RohanYesudian, I appreciate the response and agree there are different types of objectives for fasting and your fasting metric might differ from mine. Again, great content and you got a new subscriber mate. Cheers! ☕
