They went on tour in europe and the were freakin awesome, when I saw them in glasgow they were one of the best bands I have ever seen. I'm sure they will go on tour in america soon!
God, they still sound so good after all these years, I love how Chris sings like he's hell young but they're like getting middle-aged. But this is why I love Aussie music.
The Living End = Without a Doubt the best Australian Band.. Australasia has decent bands, with Living End and The Veronicas (Aussie), and Goodnight Nurse and Shihad (NZ) =O!
I think Waiting for the Silence should be a single, that song blew me away the first time I heard it. But I have a feeling it'll be Loaded Gun or Make the Call. I bloody love TLE. White Noise is my new favourite album, it's a corker!
Waiting for the Silence is the Nothing Lasts Forever of White Noise, easily the best song on the album, but if it was a single, it wouldn't do so well.
if there is any proof that bands can make it being themselves out there this is most defently it. i mean sure theyve changed a little but u cant say its not living end you can still hear them in it and i think thats a very rare thing these days
Actually.. old rock and modern rock have different sounds, but are still rock. Old rock is like ACDC and that, modern rock, and the type of Rock I like, is stuff like The Living End, 3 Doors Down, Solstate etc. Music, like technology, changes over time. Rock and other genres also change with music. These days the main difference between old rock and modern rock is the beat, and the vocals, in my opinion.
its not "ballsy rock" at all! theres like 2 or 3 heavy rock songs on there, like there is with any other living end album. the guys themselves didnt hype this up to be a heavy album, thats the work of the media. i reckon this is an awesome choice for a single
I can't stand old rock =/ I, and my fiancee, both agree that AC/DC should of quit when there old singer died. Sure, they were brilliant back in the day. But now, there are so many better artists out there.
