This band made me fall in love with live music. I saw them for the first time at Luna Park in St Kilda (Melbourne) in 2004. Pushover I think the festival was called. I met the guys too. It made me appreciate a band truly talented at live performances. The best way to measure the talent of a rock band is to see them live. So many good memories.
You saw Midnight Oil in NYC? That’s a unique experience. But even this band, so many very Australian (lyrics wise) songs performed in NYC gives me a kick.
When I was 15 back in 1997..... after rage...there was "Recovery" any Aussie that watched this stuff Saturday morning would remember the Living End's debut Prisoner of Society.....hit me straight... WOW band! Every song has something special. All torn down totally demonstrated the changes in our cities. The most unrecognised and respected band .. coo, fun, awesome and sexy. Love and respect 🤗👏👍😝👌🤘✌️
Here this was the 1st band I went 2 see wen I was 18!! Eskimo Joe was 1 of the backing bands & it was the 1st time they hit the stage.. The Living End ROCK HARD CORE xxxx
Seen these guys many times - from around 30 years ago when they started through local gigs and BDOs a plenty to 3 weeks ago at Live at the Vines where they tore down the Winery. Absolutely stellar, must-see, brilliant band !!!
Let me guess: Your a city dweller surrounded by concrete and asphalt and you vote green because you have been brainwashed into thinking the world is about to end. We are in better shape than we were 100 years ago in relation to environment protection, and we have a much better standard of living. Get real.
oh ...the words are NEEDED capitalist scum are tearing down wonderful buildings History is important ......ya got no reason !...just a little thing called cash !
He used to drum in a folk punk band called the Currency and a rockabilly band called Double Black. Both good bands, he was great in those bands too, he has the Midas touch.
Can’t help but feel a fairly distinct spyvspy live vibe on the intro 🤔 but my bride assured me I’ve been wrong before 😂😢! Absolutely love both bands though ❤❤
@@ManuzDiaz Yes he was, he was the original drummer when they were the Runaway Boys, before the name change to The Living End. We were at the EP launch at the Savoy in Melbourne.

I saw them in NYC a few years ago when they opened for Midnight Oil. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen.

Damn. So clean in live version 😱😱
Been fans since at school till now , watched once live at 2010, best part of my life😭
I deleted the recorded version after hearing this the first time... AWESOME!
Saw them once like 17 years ago. They were fantastic! Wish I had seen them more when I was younger before they moved to their newer music style...

Incredible band
Have to watch these older vids to see just how great and unique Trav was on the drums! (Andy is a great drummer too but totally different style)

Muy dificil amigo jajaja es una de mis dos bandas favoritas junto con green day. La esperanza es lo ultimo que se pierde 😆
I forgot how awesome this band was.
Ridiculously good! This band should be as big as Blink / Green Day.
No, I prefer that this band still in the under like the punk it is
haha. Just like The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Casualties, Rancid.... All "Underground" eh! ;-)
Chazz Hill-Hayr do ur ears function properly
Punk bands that are not very know but very good ?
Aussie
the sound quality is tops too and what a performance...something about the good old days of early TLE jams eh
do you have any more songs from this set ?
Augusto Felipe Maes I always thought the same thing back in their early albums.
Except he is a million times better at playing guitar and singing live.
Lloyd Christmas is good on drums
End 21 days end fashion Whyalla 😮
Trav absolutely smokes Andy!!!!!!
id say so too
They're both awesome, talented drummers. In my opinion they're at the same level, but different personalities 😎
Di Indonesia *suicidal sinatra* judulnya iblis jelita 😄
Iblis surga kali bang

they were a better rockabilly/punk band. The early days rocked. sad
Man I miss Trav. He was an interesting drummer that took chances. New guy is boring.
Where is Andy?
Andy wasn't with TLE yet, he joined the band around 2004 i think? They're both awesome drummers
@@ManuzDiaz And some of us even remember Joe before Trav!
