"I'll See You in My Dreams" was written by Isham Jones, with lyrics by Gus Kahn, and was published in 1924.
I like the composers of popular songs to get the credit, just as classical music composers do.

While exploring RUclips tonight I came across this. I had never heard of this group. What a stellar work. Wow! This song lifted my spirits at the exact moment I needed uplifting. It's been a tough year and a half for all of us. And for me, the past few weeks has been especially trying and exhausting. So, I discovered this song, this group and I'm so grateful I did. Music can be soothing and healing. And I thank you for doing that for me.

I was so blessed to see Stephane (Accompanied by Martin Taylor) twice in the '80's...it is refreshing to see the legacy of the incredible music he and Django made, continue on.

I became aware of Django from a feature in Guitar Player magazine in 1976. I was so intrigued by the idea of a man with such a handicap starting all over and completely re learning the guitar from scratch that I went and found a bunch of his records, and was completely blown away by such talent. 2 years later, Grappelli came to play at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta. He had Django's son on guitar. It was one of the best things I've ever heard. My friends all thought I was nuts because it wasn't black sabbath or Alice Cooper or kiss.

It is on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
I was three rows back, to the left of the middle. Right in front of the trio.
There was a wine and cheese tasting event before.

My wife and I saw them on 11/6/2018 at Le Quecumber. Irene has a fantastic voice, smooth and silky. They played some Gypsy Jazz and Jazz standards and were very much enjoyed by all those there. I will definitely see them again.
