I have my phone number, but when I hit send code to phone number I get a message " can't send link because of your security settings" I don't know what that means.. help
I have access to email , but it keep asking for a code from the number I no longer have access too. It says I need to verify my identity which I’ve already done by sending a selfie. Idk what else to do

Hi. I tried the first step and instead of the three options I got a black bar pop up from the bottom of my phone that said “we sent a message to get back into your account. Then at the top of my phone I got a code the says Instagram with codes and then says Don’t share it. Is that legit? Not sure. Also I don’t have a Facebook account.
@@Stephaniemark964I’m sure which is why I’m glad I found his account. After looking at so many on RUclips I haven’t had any success. Not that their info was bad it just didn’t match up to mine.

I know my username and password correctly, but it sends a verification code to an email I no longer have access to. What can I do? also I don’t have any photos/videos too. Also it doesn’t bring out any options for me, it just sends a code straight to the email I don’t have any more.

Please help me! I have been locked out of my account, here is the quick rundown: I remeber both my username and password, and I have access to the email and phone number that are connected, but I have 2fa set up, and no longer have access to the 2fa app code or the backup codes. I am also not linked on facebook. Can I get my account back?
edit: side note I also have no photos of myself on my account so cannot do the face scan verification thing
