when i first saw this series in this very video a year ago my first thought was "this looks like a really old video game". They animated it like Mr Game & Watch, but those style games had to be animated that way since they were trying to shrink a full sized game down to handheld sized, which was difficult for the time so they had to sacrifice alot of detail to make it happen. Even by animated TV series this was bad, it came out within a few months of Aeon Flux (a series made by a producer who mostly did cheap animation) and Darkwing Duck (a cheaply made Disney cartoon, at the time they outsourced alot of animation to countries like Taiwan or Korea) and both had much better animation. Honestly this whole series seems like it would be more at home in the 70's if they changed the music style from Pop Hip-Hop to Funk or Soul music.

When a character changes from one pose to another, the choppiness of the animation doesn't bother me, and at times actually seems kind of stylistic (like when you have your avatar up on screen). It can be kinda neat. However, the moment anything in the show attempts to convey motion of any kind, it all falls flat. NOTHING looks natural.
Shorter hair, bikers, I THINK they hated men, but it's been about twenty years since I saw it. And that's not indicative of the rest of the show. It tends to not have as much horribly offensive shit. Hell, even in that episode, especially in the nineties, they could have been far worse.

_Technically_, The Simpsons and Disney's Renaissance both started in the 80s. I think the 80's, 90's, and 00's had _so_ many toons and _so_ many different competing trends that it's difficult to split things into neat decade designations. Hammerman aired at the same time as Tiny Toons, He-Man was on at the same time as Ducktales. And so on.
They must have change the terms then because I remember it referring to films like sleeping beauty being one of the last in the renaissance and then the little mermaid kicking off the second one.
I remember watching one episode of Hammerman when I was a kid. I remember changing the channel before the stupidity of the cartoon made my head explode (like that one guy off of the movie "Scanners")
I was going to say exactly this. The celebrity cartoon is planned with said celeb in mind, while (from what I've read superficially about it) Milo Murphy seems like a show that would be aired anyway and the producers thought a well known voice would be an extra touch and a "bait" for the parents. If "Milo" is a celeb cartoon for Weird Al, then "Brace Face" is it for Alicia Silverstone and any show which features Mark Hammill is it for him.
Yeah a celebrity cartoon is where the celebrity is a focal point and is at least loosely based on themselves where they play themselves. Milo Murphy just has a celebrity in it. I think Jackie Chan isn't a celebrity cartoon since Jackie Chan didnt appear as himself (although he appeared in bumpers and at the end of each episode), the show was well balanced in terms of character development and focus, and the show avoided the "Mary Sue" characteristics they normally heap on celebrity cartoon stars.
@@arthas640: By tbe way, I would've never known "Milo" featured a famous voice, since it's aired dubbed in Portuguese here in Brazil and the character's voice artist is just a regular dubbing professional. (But they replaced Alicia Silverstone in "Braceface" with well known TV actress Mariana Ximenes.) Your case about "Jackie Chan" is valid. I think we have a blurry border here: it looks more like Jackie is playing a character (a younger, hotheaded version of himself) with a distinct personality, but his presence there still looks like the cartoon's main selling point. It's a strange hybrid... (And, from a clarity point, I think it should be better to write "him/herself", or some neologism like "hirself" instead of "themselves". Or at least "themself", if you really want to follow the "singular they" path.) (P.S.: Please don't feel offended by the last paragraph. It's just some advice on style and making things less confusing, especially for a non-native speaker like me...!)
That confusing scene with Gramps is supposed to parody James Brown's historic performance of "Please Please Please". I would definitely suggest watching it cause it's crazy how much energy he had.
Mr. Enter's complaints of an unbeatable superhero reminds me of my time watching Big O. I only saw a few episodes back in the day, mind you, but, it felt the mech just steamrolled all opposition, save for one episode where it took some kind of damage. Still, it was hard to get enthusiastic for a hero where victory just by might was an inevitability.

Why are People starting to hate on Cow and Chicken? I Mean it's not one of the greatest Cartoon Network shows, but it's still better than shows like Squirrel Boy, Teen Titans Go!, Uncle Grandpa and Problem Solverz.
I'll Tell you why I think Cow and Chicken sucks. I hate there wanna be Ren and Stimpy gross out style. It wasn't funny or entertaining, it was simply just weak sauce. So sitting through an episode was more of a chore than anything. But I would rather run a marathon of that then watch one episode any of the other shows you listed.
Wiimeiser Well, for Pepe, they could make a plot about how he was wrongly accused of being a hate symbol (or in the movie itself, a terrorist or something) and how he tries to prove his innocence...
They probably had the live action bits at the beginning and end so that it would fill up the half hour and reduce the amount of animation they had to do. It would also explain why the theme song was a bit longer than most other cartoons from that era (some other cartoons from that time period took the same kinds of shortcuts, but at least those other shows still had more redeeming qualities than this one)
Well this was very nostalgic. Thanks for the weird tour through basic animated frames. Its funny. I predicted your Link Between Worlds joke. x'D Stay you man.
The stop Hammertime part reminded me of Dragonball Z abridged where Goku goes "Stop Goku Time" I looked it up and found out it's reference to The lyrics "Stop Hammertime" in the song "You can't touch this"
LOL, he's right, Weird Al's parody of 'You Can't Touch This' fits this show like a glove, especially its entire first verse! Speaking of whom, 'Milo Murphy's Law' is definitely worthy of an Admirable Animation, now there's a celebrity- based cartoon done right!
I love the character design in this show, but that's about it. I remember watching it way early in the morning getting ready for a road trip or something and being utterly confused by it. None of my friends believed me it was real, and next week it was replaced with something else so they assumed I had hallucinated it!
3:32 what's even worse about this movie is that Sony Pictures Animation was originally going to make a movie about Popeye, but then got rid of the idea and replaced it with this pile of shite.
Well, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the emoji movie sucked, just as we all thought it would. But the good news is that Mr Enter gets to roast it on another episode of animated atrocities. I'll have my popcorn ready.
Reviews of the Movie that shall not be named are far more entertaining than the movie itself. At least I assume so; I refused to pay money to see it on general principle.
Oh my god I just noticed something. The villain in this episode also did a huge amount of the voices in all of DiC's Mario cartoons. (Toad in Super Show and most of the Koopalings in 3 and World) How did this guy make such voices without blowing out his own eardrums in the process because he has the voice of nails on a chalkboard.
Well, it did not happen. Mr. Enter was shown to be distantly doubtful towards The Emoji Movie, which AniMat, PhantomStrider, CellSpex, Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, Chris Stuckmann, LeafyIsHere and etc hate with a passion.
The part about Jody realizing she is conned is worse once you notice she said, "thats joker's tag!" Because the fact that joker has a tag establishes that, yes, yes indeed he knows how to draw.

If only Yakko, Wakko, and Dot could jump out of that water tower and save this mess
3:31 You definitely called it, can't wait for that review!
Why are People starting to hate on Cow and Chicken? I Mean it's not one of the greatest Cartoon Network shows, but it's still better than shows like Squirrel Boy, Teen Titans Go!, Uncle Grandpa and Problem Solverz.
Weasel and Baboon was okay ...but the rest of the show is horrible- just annoying.
I think people have nostalgia goggles for it.
eartianwerewolf Why do you think it's horrible then?
I'll Tell you why I think Cow and Chicken sucks.
I hate there wanna be Ren and Stimpy gross out style. It wasn't funny or entertaining, it was simply just weak sauce. So sitting through an episode was more of a chore than anything. But I would rather run a marathon of that then watch one episode any of the other shows you listed.
Str8 Krillin it What do you think about " I am weasel" then?
Imad Mohamed Liked it slightly better, mostly cause it wasn't cow and chicken.
I'm not going to lie this is one of your funniest reviews I've seen in a while
If I remember correctly you wanted to make an Admirable Animation about that one "The Amazing World of Gumball" episode...several months ago.
Aaaaw.
I can't believe there is an emoji movie, fucking angry birds was bad enough, I am looking forward to the Pepe the frog movie though
AlbertoHerrera2000 He's not talking about the skunk
Brutaltronics actually the angry birds movie wasn't too bad
At least you can sorta work a plot into Angry Birds. But emojis and memes?
Just rip off Inside Out . That would work with emojis.
OH, NO... He found out the Rubik's Cube cartoon exists! SHIELD YOUR EYES!
The stop Hammertime part reminded me of Dragonball Z abridged where Goku goes "Stop Goku Time" I looked it up and found out it's reference to The lyrics "Stop Hammertime" in the song "You can't touch this"
How high were the people who made Hammerman?
Randall Williams How high were the people that made a good amount of the Animation on Mr Enter's channel?
Point taken
Randall Williams Higher than the people that made FLCL. At least those guys could make something well animated.
Randall Williams very
I'd say 5 injections of bath salt's, weed, lsd, cocaine, pot cookies, meth, and marijuana...
in the middle I got an ad for a board game called "toilet trouble" XD that was very good timing
Clutch Cargo has even less animation then this. Imagine still images with someone's mouth in place of the character's. It is bizarre.
Oh my god. So this two frame garbage came out within a year of Batman the animated series, huh? Geeez. >
Reviews like this one are why I subscribed to this channel. Keep up the good work!
9:53 *Flashback of Superman lifting an island made of Kryptonite and flying into space plays vividly.*
Um, about that....
Hey I haven't ever commented before but I've seen a lot of your videos. And they're just great. Keep it up man, your content is really worth watching.
I love the character design in this show, but that's about it. I remember watching it way early in the morning getting ready for a road trip or something and being utterly confused by it. None of my friends believed me it was real, and next week it was replaced with something else so they assumed I had hallucinated it!
12:30
I'm officially dead from laughter. This is more meme-worthy than the super bowl commercials I saw today!
I was a huge fan of MC Hammer back then. I remember waking up on Saturday morning hoping that this cartoon would be awesome...
It wasn't.
3:32 what's even worse about this movie is that Sony Pictures Animation was originally going to make a movie about Popeye, but then got rid of the idea and replaced it with this pile of shite.
3:33
Finally someone agrees with me about that upcoming abomination of pointlessness! Thank you Mr. Enter. Thank you.
MY MY MY MY cartoon hits you, so hard, makes you say "turn it off"
Well, I have good news and bad news.
Keep uploading at this time please, there's literally nothing else to watch this early in the morning.
Oh my god I just noticed something. The villain in this episode also did a huge amount of the voices in all of DiC's Mario cartoons. (Toad in Super Show and most of the Koopalings in 3 and World)
How did this guy make such voices without blowing out his own eardrums in the process because he has the voice of nails on a chalkboard.
I vaguely remembered this show, but now I realize why I only remember the intro. This is animated like a half-assed parody of anime.
I cannot wait to see Mr. Enter and AniMat review The Emoji Movie. Both of those reviews are gonna be funny and on point.
There was an ad at 7:08, and I genuinely thought he had just ended the video.
"Yep, I don't need to say anything else."
12:33 - The "scat man" lives in the sewers. Idk if that joke was intentional, but I love it.
Also bad animation is always a valid complaint.
Vickie Bauer agreed
This is what you call a animation? It's an Animatic Atrocity.
[rimshot]
So next is the Donkey Kong Cartoon. This is going to be interesting.
Also, Milo Murphy's Law Admirable Tease was pretty hype.
12:32 Pardon me while I laugh myself silly. Best joke of the year so far, Mr. Enter. XDXDXD
I hope the guy who thought up that Rubik show never lives that down.
The part about Jody realizing she is conned is worse once you notice she said, "thats joker's tag!" Because the fact that joker has a tag establishes that, yes, yes indeed he knows how to draw.
What ever happened to that Alice in Wonderland video?
I think he'll get to it eventually. But considering how bad it is and that he's doing this 90's marathon, it might be a while.
empeanutson Alright
empeanutson yep
because every 90s kid will get the james brown reference in the grandfathers scene
