Juan Villanueva - that was the "wrap up" he was looking for in this movie. In one breath he said this was more like a 1.5 instead of a part 3 due to it taking place between 1 & 2 and then immediately seemed to forget all about that.

It was a totally horrible movie 1&2 were better and the acting was aweful only Meg Forster did a good job and we still don't know what the hell the creature actually is and also part two ended with him on a cross with the man waiting for him to wake up i mean was really disappointed in the movie after waiting so many years for them to make part 3😒
atrocious acting. I am okay with the bland acting the younger people because I am use to that in horror movies but the Sheriff and Black Dr. Loomis were awful. The Sherriff's hair piece was very distracting. However, the grandma who obviously smoked to much in her life was excellent. It was like one real actress with a bunch of novices. The creeper looked like he had a mask on. At the end of the movie when he answered questions he talked about how much better the make up is now and how much easier it is to put on. NONSENSE! It looks like a mask now not skin. The effects on the little exploding balls were horrible. The should have just got one metal ball and not had it blow up. That would have been cool. The truck scenes were very cool. I liked the funny parts. The audience laughed. The biker scene was very good I thought. Classic creeper. Definitely the worst one but still if you're a fan it should be okay. Overall I enjoyed going to the premier and getting out with my wife and kids. So when you're having a good night it will enhance the movie experience. Even tho I didn't get lucky later on.
exactly! The girl he was chasing she pretty much had the same expression through the whole film. Only people I cared for was shaw, the possessed looking woman and the cop. lol if you go back and watch the scene where the hand possess shaw look at the cop on the left literally his face never changed looks like he smelt shit throughout the whole scene

Thank you! I feel the same way, I'm a huge fan of the Jeepers Creepers franchise and in my opinion I enjoyed the movie. Although yeah it could use some improvements, I liked it the more Creeper the better. And I agree i don't condone to victors controversial past but to me, it's the actors, they worked hard to perform for us, and I respect them for that. And it was great to see john breck as the creeper again. overall, great review.

Correct, you nailed it on the head. I can't stand when others try to deny people their right to do what the hell they want to. We don't need that shit to start happening. That is to much control and don't tell me what to do. Give the information and allow others to make up their minds. To make it for me will never work and there is where my issues lay. You could not have said it better.

I completely agree with you. Awesome review. You are so lucky because as a fan of this movie franchise I was not lucky enough to see it because it had a limited showing. I do not agree with what the director did in the past but I'm not going to let that stop me from seeing this movie. I waited too damn long for a sequel only for people to tell me not to see it. I'm still going to watch it. I'll have to find it or wait for DVD.

I watched JC3 on that one night showing.... I didn't go because of the director. I've watched movie where I hated the main actor like Marky Marky (AKA Mark Wahlberg). I can't stand him, but I like a lot of the movies. I know, I know! I've watched the Big Hit, Fear, and the Other Guys. I would spit on him, but I will also pop in one of his movies. It's not about one person, it's about the movie!

Great video man! I live right off the road and I drive down the road where they filmed the move in. Like literally the church is still on that road and the locals here call it the Creeper Church. All of the Jeeper Creepers movies were shot where I live at! Keep up the great work on the videos!
I saw this and I was a bit disappointed. During the build up to this movie we were promised something of an origin. And we didn't get that. It was ok but a let down. We don't even know if they will be able to do another due to all crazy stuff this one experience with the directors past.
I saw this movie before finding out about the director, he's a pos, and I think they need to let him go if they want their franchise to continue. Just my opinion.

I just saw and reviewed the film on my channel also. I thought it was really poor. Eve aside from the dire effects it lacked the fear factor of the first two movies, and was missing the "director's eye" - the first two films had some great shots, at the very least.This film just felt so by-the-numbers.
They was suppose to gave us his origin. That killed it for me. Side note, the truck is badass!
I didnt think the movie was that bad... yea the acting was a bit so so.. and the CGI, yea the scenes where you really can tell it was on the low budget , it's like ok, you could of probably done the scene a bit different with or without CGI and still had the same effect.. but for a 1 night showing, i went in with low expectations and wanted to see what they was trying to do with the movie series, which is totally set up for a 4th movie.. as for the directors past.. i didnt know about any of that till i started reading about it online a couple days before the movie release.. but it still didnt keep me from telling others about going to see the movie..

I think its fine for the audience not to know a damn thing. The Creeper is a monster that eats people. Good enough.
Thats boring, the thing has a complexity about him that just begs to be explored, we don't need to be told exactly what he is and where he comes from, but it is necessary at this stage to finally explore his origins to a subtle degree, so that we have more clues to play with but wile maintaining the sense of mystery.

Saw the Jeepers Creepers 3 Movie Today waited years for number 3, it was a failure! I laughed at the special effects I felt like I seriously thought they were going to showcase who he really is & where he came from! I thought Trish was going to be throughout the movie hunting the creeper. I must say I love number two the best! I saw it at a very young age very detailed the cinematography was amazing how he kills the young boy in the cornfield by posing as the scarecrow brought me fear!

As far as your opinion at the end, I'd have to say that while there are plenty of other people who put hard work and effort into the process of making the film, I could never actively pay to watch that movie. I felt the same way with Nate Parker's The Birth of a Nation. What Victor Salva did was no mistake, it was an unforgivable crime and they never should have brought him back to direct. If the Weinstein company can fire Harvey Weinstein for similarly awful behavior, then the makers of the Jeepers Creepers franchise can surely pull their act together.
To respond and add to my previous point, I would say that even though thousands of people worked on this film, it would have been the responsibilities of the producers and studio heads to not hire the director back. What's done is done and I really hope that everyone on crew will get paid, despite the limited release. However, if this film does not make its returns, it makes me sick that Victor Salva will get paid before anyone else who contributed to this movie. In addition, even if everyone from the crew does receive their paycheck, Salva will still retain the most money. That being said, what's done is done, the producers allowed Salva to direct again, but that mistake should not and cannot be made again.

You'd almost think starscream was talking about the Victor Salva, not a commenter on youtube making a reasonably considered personal decision to not financially support his movies. It makes me wonder why he immediately correlated your personal decision with
"punishment", and why all of the harshest language is directed at you, not the heinous crimes of this director.

If a child who is close to you were to be molested by a director, you probably won't want to support that director by seeing any of his movies.

Something to consider perhaps he learned his lesson. He did serve time although not much who's to say he hasn't changed. No one is perfect whether a person was to take a life or molest. He will have to live with what he did haunting his memories. Seems like enough punishment to me, but the idea of everyone who was incorporated with the film getting punished because of what he did. Seems a bit harsh and fucked up. If i'm a actor who is just starting out trying to make a name for myself I too would have taken the job for the spotlight of myself, and to possibly get screen time elsewhere. It's easy to not support this film on surface of what the director did but remember you also would be taking money away from everyone else who worked hard for it.
Wait - So is Meg Foster's ghost son the prom king from the first film? At the start, they briefly show a guy being killed 23 years prior to 2001. Is that the same guy?

Haven't watched it yet but I'm definitely going to and also buying the dvd. I completely agree with you it's not just about the director there's a lot more people involved in the film. If I hadn't watched 1 & 2 I probably wouldn't watch it because of the director but this movies are some of the first horror films I saw as a kid and I completely loved them.

This movie was based on what a real life couple saw while on the road they played a game reading car tags that saw the van pulled over blood inside of it then they went back and saw something dumping looks like a bloody sheet down a hole this was on Unsolved Mysteries
I feel like the Creeper was shown WAY too much in this film. Also, after 15 years of waiting for a sequel and still not finding out more about the Creeper's origins and having to wait for a fourth film for any kind of resolution came across as a cop-out. Hopefully we don't have to wait another 15 years for Jeepers Creepers 4.
Thanks for letting us know it wasn't a sequel. I won't be watching it then. I want to see what happens when it wakes up after the end of the second film. I'd pay real money to watch that farmer guy kick the creeper's butt all over the place again! That was incredibly satisfying!

This movie kinda sucked. They didn't need the horrible cgi, and the guy at the end gets on the bus and apparently forgets he just faced the creeper when the bus is attacked in part 2? Wtf? He shouldn't be tied to the bus, it makes no sense. Very disappointing. And his magic car was dumb... had to b magical cuz 20 mm (even tho they were usin .50 cal ammo) would eat through any kind of bullet proof glass. Ughhh

I loved it. As a fan of the first two it fit in perfectly to fill in the gaps between the first two. Was some of the effects shoddy? Sure! But the CGI in the first two was pretty blah as well

ZedneM i agree the storyline and concept was pretty cool if the budget would have been there.
The movie was not good. The one thing that could've saved it is if they revealed something significantly new about the Creeper. There were multiple opportunities to do so but they didn't. They could've told us what Meg Foster and Stan Shaw learned when they touched the Creeper's old hand. Ultimately, we left the movie without knowing anything really new about the Creeper except that his truck has special gadgets and apparently has a mind of its own. We're no closer to understanding it's background or a way to kill it.
I have seen first part and second part several times but regret watching the third part even once!

I haven't see it but I can tell by the trailer they had a low budget. They definitely should of waited rather then rush it. The first movie was awesome and I was looking forward to this one. Hopefully if they ever make a new Friday the 13th movie they don't rush it.
