Your locs are beautiful, I’m one month in on my loc journey. Started with coils and going thru the unraveling and all but I’m sticking with it, trusting the process! Ready to see what my locs are going to look like!!!

@loyalty82 I’m 7 months in and also started with comb coils and the way I keep them from unraveling is to get them styled with each retwist. Hope this helps.

Thank you and nah I’ve never really used a comb to do my retwist. Only when I first started my Locs .
Those prices you cut off you can keep in a ziplock freezer bag and use them to repair your thinning roots as opposed to starting all over or using foreign hair prices to repair your hair it will be your own. I guess you can wash the prices n dry them from time to time until you need them if ever. But you will have some on hand just in case

Thank you and to retwist about 1.5 - 2 hours depending how lm retwisting and if I’m taking breaks and most of the time I air dry . If I’m going somewhere right away then I blow dry it .

Hi, you can start them with whatever method you like . I started mine with the comb coils . If you go back to my 1 year anniversary video you will see how they looked like .

It depends , sometimes a week and a half 2 weeks

I’ve always just use my fingers ... and I use edge booster . The strawberry scent
I’m on my fourth month and my fucking god my ends piss me off like I’m trying not to touch my hair and just leave it alone but it’s hard.

Hi I just started watching your videos. I'm a month in with my starter dreads. What's the best products and I constantly have to retwist is that normal
I have plenty of videos that answers your questions . To make it short your only a month in so your hair will unravel that’s normal . They will eventually lock when it’s time , some quicker than others . I’m not sure what you mean by constantly retwisting. I wouldn’t advice retwisting more than every 2 weeks . I retwist every 3-6 weeks .

Awww thank you and I would say wait at least until your a year but you can do whatever you want lol. Make sure you do it the right way so you don’t damage your locs . 💕

The dye don’t break your hair out
No been using it for years and my hair have been fine . I don’t use it often ... maybe like every 3 months or when I feel like I need to touch us my hair

Mines usually don’t but I just separate them with my hands like if I wash them and don’t retwist.
