Your locs are healthy and beautiful. I am noticing how you don’t necessarily retwist in the same direction. I have been told and read that it was essential to twist all locs in the same direction for the best success, etc. But it doesn’t look like that rule applies to you because obviously your locs are thriving! Maybe thats how you’re gettting that textured look that i actually love ❤️

Love the rope twist thinking to do minds I’m 26 months locs but 96% locs. I still have a few hair that’s not completely locs still have curly ends… Should I wait for the 4% of hair to be loc before I start to rope twist… I just don’t won’t to mess with the process? Hi there , I think that’s totally fine. But then again it’s totally up to you. As long as your not doing it supper tight and too frequent then your locs should be fine.
How do you do your retwists without separating in clean lines without looking? I need to master this 🥺 I’m a year in and I can separate the roots after a wash but getting the parts correct is so hard for me. It makes me regret getting triangle parts. I can’t just feel where it’s supposed to be
Ahhhh I see what you mean. The parting might play a part but keep on trying over time it’ll get easier . I’ve been doing my own hair since I started them 4 years ago so I’ve had a lot of practice lol. And I would say when your hair fully matures too , it helps with the parting .
Your twisting them the wrong way . It’s not suppose to unravel after putting the rubber band on it. Try twisting it the opposite way what your doing it now .
They are all twisted the same direction, except a few in the front and that’s just how I like it . I’ve never really had a problem with my two strand twist when I do them . Thank youu for watching !💕

I moisturize my locs with rosewater, water , and aloe Vera juice mixture . And I seal with jojoba / JBCO .
