I just use bold liquid with lenor softener, always smells amazing x
My washing smells ace, I use Ariel pods and yellow comfort or lenor x
Ariel pods seem to be popular, I’ve got some bold pods to try but I think next time I’ll try Ariel x
Happy new Year 🥳
Those Tangs Crisps are Aldi's version of Tangy Toms. 🙂xx
Great shopping haul, I do love popping to Aldi every now and again. xx
Nice haul!!!💖⭐😘
fairy outdoorables fabric softener they have just bought a cherry blossom one out as well x
I love outdoorables 😍
Lovely haul and terrific bargains as well. Hope your new year is starting off great. Have a wonderful weekend ❄️💜❄️💜❄️💜❄️
Thank you! You too!
Great food Haul, now I live in a small country town, very rarely to we get bargains now, but it's OK.. The country is nice . Happy New Year xx
Do u leave the washing machine door closed in between washes? That's renound for making the machine smell stale and damp, if u leave the door open to air it makes it alot better also adding white vinegar to each wash helps, doesn't make the clothes smell but keeps it fresh. Fabric conditioner is liquid wax and over time it builds up and smells stale, if you wash clothes in white vinegar as a substitute to fabric conditioner with detergent it takes the layer of wax build off and makes it fresh again x
I do leave the door open between washes. It’s not that the clothes smell bad, they smell lovely if you sniff them they just don’t waft the scent around every time you move if that makes sense 😂 definitely me just being fussy!
@Victoria_Foulger ariel pods are all I buy now but use the aldi almat coconut as well just so I'm not using loads of pods as expensive! Really nice and fresh xx
Fab shop ❤ i like non bio pods and the lenor outdoorabled FC xx
Great haul 😊
I only notice the smell of laundry when I change the liquid/scent I use. The pods are quite good but more expensive
Great haul love watching your channel ❤
Thanks so much!!
We used laundry liquid for years. Changed to Bold spring awakening powder and the Lenor fab softener in the same fragrance for the same reason and they smell amazing. I took a tee shirt from wardrobe 3 weeks after washing and I could still smell the fragrance. Fab haul and Happy New Year to you all tfs Jax ❤x
Thanks for sharing! Another combination for me to try 🙏
Great haul Vicki, especially the bargains Steve got. Happy New Year by the way xxx
Happy new year to you 🥳
Thank you x I look forward to watching your vlogs ❤ x x x
You’re welcome 😊
Iv been waiting for this Vicky! Happy new year 🎉 x
Happy new year to you 🥳
The goats cheese flat bread is amazing from Aldi
Loved the look of that one 😍
Bold spring awakening gel, lenor outdoorable spring awakening and the lenor spring awakening scent boosters create quite a strong scent combo. I always use this combo when I'm at my boyfriend's flat as my mum doesn't like strongly scented laundry. I want to switch to the same trio but with the original Fairy scent as it smells so good but it's noticeably more expensive. I also bought some Asevi products that you recommended but haven't used them yet. Maybe go back to Asevi as you said it was the best you've used? x
It’s so hit and miss with what shops stock it. I think because I shop in Aldi, Lidl & Sainsbury’s I want something more mainstream that I can get anywhere 🤔
@@Victoria_Foulger I see it quite regularly now in B&M and Home Bargains. I think it's a bit easier to get now the novelty of being able to get the Spanish cleaning products here has worn off. I think I've even seen it in Farmfoods too. But otherwise, using the same brand and scent for each 'component' of the laundry routine helps with getting a stronger scent and unfortunately, the washing machine itself. I used to struggle at uni with getting my washing to smell nice, especially as some of the machines in student halls didn't have a tray for fabric softener (or if it did, I must've missed it as I always used pods🤣) and I found that the Lenor scent booster beads made a big difference.
I had this. I went on to ariel pods. They are amazing. Bit pricey, but only things that make my washing smell amazing. They do a stain and odour one, fantastics. They also do the original and a lenor one also, all are just brilliant. I recommend. Also, much cheaper..home bargain do a big bag of 44pods i think it is, they are dark musk and rose i think, they also leave your washin smellin amazing. Hope you try them, let me know if they work for you 🙂
Good to know! Thanks 🤩
I swere by kifra i got it in a east European store but you can get online it's 20 euro but small bit goes a long way . People stop me in the street asking what's the smell. The house does smell gorgeous. Lots of different cents. Small bottle but last long time as so strong ❤
What a great first shopping haul For 2025!!😍 Happy New Year x
Happy new year!!
Not sure it’s much of a tip but my washing routine is I use the Ariel washing pods…. I find them good quality but if I’m honest I’d use way to much of the liquid so it stops waste. I use the scent capsules but keep changing the scent so you keep smelling it and I ditched the fabric softener and replaced it with a laundry sanitiser…. I use HB own brand but dettol have a version….. that stopped my washing machine draw going mouldy (I do still clean my washing machine regularly) and I felt it took out the smell in clothes. I can smell my washing now and the whole family has noticed.
Thank you. Think I’m going to give Ariel pods a go 🤞
I use pink Persia wonder wash with no fabric softener for the first time after 35 years of marriage! It smells amazing around the house. Half price at Tesco atm so I’ve stocked up! My friend says using both detergent and fabric softener confuses the scent.
Great tip! That makes sense!
Put a small amount of plain white vinegar in your detergent drawer each wash. No more fusty smelling laundry. Couldn't believe the difference.
I saw this in the range today, wish I’d bought some 🙈
I’m in Australia and have the same trouble as you,my washing doesn’t get that lovely smell anymore. Don’t know the answer.
I find the only laundry combo I find good is fairy detergent plus softener
The newer fairy scent with jasmine too is just ❤
Hi a great haul. I use fairy platinum gel along with asevi liquid scent booster, they claim kinder to clothes as fabric softener not good.
Thanks for sharing!!
Have you cleaned the powder drawer and the door seal? I always use powder and washing smells lovely. Aldi bio or non bio
Yes cleaned everything! Think I might need to try powder as liquid just doesn’t seem to smell the same x
I switched to powder because of this and it makes the difference. I just do any non bio then Fairy Outdoorable Fabric Conditioner Cherry & Cotton (£3.99 for 70 wash in savers and b&m !)
I’ve thought about trying powder, might have to trial it thanks 🙏
They say to put a limescale in your wash if your clothes are smelling.
The clothes smell clean just not overly scented if that makes sense. I want a long lasting smell 😂
It definitely will be- comfort intense blue skies, put double or even bit more than double your normal amount of comfort
Trial heat washes,hotter and cooler
Try doing a short cycle and put bleach in the actual machine, round the rubber drum as well- I have done this with success
I realise you have asked for suggestions a few times now. But if any of the above does not work and any other tips doesn’t,you can conclude that everything has been tried
Either, call a hot point person to come and check and do a full service or get another washing machine- I say it’s in the pipes whether coming in connection but don’t know anything there 💖
Try a dishwasher tab in your washing machine drum, empty no clothes and run a hot wash cycle
I did this exact thing today!
I’ll probably be slammed for this but I put some zoflora clean linen disinfectant in with my load 👍
Does it smell good? I might have to look into this 🤔
@ smells great 👍 I use it as well as softener x
Great haul Steve got fabulous bargains at Lidl ❤❤
I use zoflora citrus in every wash just a capful it’s delicious and keeps washer smelling good too.
I put zoflora into our washes too, especially with the dog blankets off the sofa.
🥰🇬🇧💐
I use surf powder any kind of comfort fabric softener and also the febreeze scent boosters. The turquoise ones.
Thank you!
