    Richter played 22 Beethoven sonatas. The 10 he didn't play are numbers 2, 5, 13, 14,15, 16, 21, 24, 25, 26.

      Richter the enigma (its one RUclips in full length)
      This man was one of the greats.

      Take note of the last thing he says in the documentary. A life in pain, probably contributing to the enormous passion in his playing.
