James Cameron keeps making the same si-fi movie over and over. "Evil corporation seeks power and profit at any cost", being the antagonist in Cameron movies. The one thing that makes no sense at all is how technology is shown in these films. In real life, weapons research and technological advances pushes the envelope of capabilities that bleed over into other human advances, such as medicine and civil aviation. In Cameron films, it's as though weapons research and technology have just stopped somewhere in the 1980's. By the time humans actually are able to travel to other planetary systems ( if ever ), impact weapons, such as firearms, would be only seen in museums. "Aliens" was the most laughable of these films, with "Colonial Marines" wearing US army WWII helmets. The best bit ever was when Hicks shoots the Xenomorph in the mouth with a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun. I almost choked on my soda when I first saw that at the drive-in, lol! In the real world, energy weapons such as lasers are already being fielded by the militaries of a number of countries. In a few decades, they'll be the primary weapons and impact weapons will start being phased ( no pun intended) out.

I wish more high school teachers are like this guy
Dead meat ticket 😂 They should have left that line in.
🤣Cameron's dialogues can use some refining smh. No wonder he has 4 other screenplay writers for 2 through 4.
I'm pretty sure this monologue was the way it was on purpose.
This was not a deleted scene. Or at least not everywhere. I actually saw this scene. Particulary remember the "It is my job to keep you alive. I will not succeed with all of you." and teh "good old safety briefing" thoughts.
All the stuff from “Rule number 1” on is new.
its different to the final cut. The final cut is shortened
I gotta be honest, and I'm usually the last to claim that, the German dub for Quaritch suits him more then the original :o I expected him to sound, idk, harsher? deeper? I don't know, this just threw me off xD
Hell’s gate, Pandora! Brought to you in part by… Denny’s and Walmart
Still don't like how the movie ended, it started to get kinda kiddish at the end and not realistic. And the whole love story part was ridiculous.
It's Pocahontas in space what did you expect 😂
@@AC-iz7eh no, it's ehhh i guess, still my favorite movie of all time tho, I watched the removed scenes they should of added them
@@tonythegreat4275 should have
+Antonia George it is actually terrifying when you realize that the humans which were already extremely vulnerable on pandora went against to a planetary linked *hive mind* referred to as Eywa
That "old-school safety briefing brings some old memories". 😪😪😶😶
"No fucking the hot blue cat aliens"
Jake: "Huh? what? I've gone deaf and didn't quite catch that part"
1:42
colonel: you have been issued dmt’s
soldier: starts tripping balls
We need another avatar movie, yk he’s a good actor if everyone hates him
December 2022-You asked?
Stephen Lang shouldve been cast in Aliens instead of ridiculous skinny Biehn this man actually lifted weights
He pronates his right foot.
Rule number one: keep your EXO pack within reach at all times. Failure to comply with rule number can have fatal consequences, so don't leave home without it😂
I wonder how actors feel about deleted scenes and I wonder how much longer the movie woulda been if nothing was cut
With everything put back it would be 3 & a half hours or so. Longer than Titanic
Why the hell they deleted this? this is good stuff.
It doesnt really add much besides some rules, which are never mentioned or become important again.
Its not a bad scene, but it is a scene, which can be cut for theaters, because it wont make an impact.
@@MMadesen they cut scenes that had people introduce themselves like the end of this one. It has been a while the introduction could be in the movie dont remember but they cut the pilot girls introduction.
Movie is already way too long and the exposition about the oxygen masks and dogtags is redundant or not necessary.
Doesn't hit the same way. When he says, "You've got to obey the rules, Pandora rules." It gives it a double meaning that really sticks in your mind much longer.
I do love that Quaritch calling Norm numbnut.
Now I want to be his soldier, after such an epic deliverance.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, the extended version of a movie is the best version
Rule number 1 is very important unless you're colonel Miles Quaritch, then you can hold your breath while your clothes are burning on you and you'll be okay
I like the scared guy at 1:02.
Nothing like an school safety brief to put you’er mind at ease
So that's the rest of his famous speech... would have loved to hear it.
I feel like they should’ve kept this in the movie
Hey, it's Ike Clanton from Tombstone
So many deleted scenes cause we have boring people who don’t want long movies
Quaritches character sort of reminds me of Micheal Shannon’s General Zod
This scene is now remade and added into the new movie that just came out!
(New Testament = Christian, Old Testament = Jewish)
I like these lines.
Dang that brief is super cool to hear. I like this scene much better now
I bet this is how custer school his men in the dakotas back in the 1800s.
i just rewatched this movie and realized everyone alive rn was born before all the characters in this movir
This one could easily be left in there, it‘s great
Need a directors cut
I could have sworn I've seen this scene in the movie
This is extended edition.
Movies have two editions.
Standard
And the extended that includes a lot of deleted scenes. If you seen this its from the extended edition
Wow This scene looks so cool
This is not so much as a deleted scene, but an extended scene. Part of this WAS in the movie, but not all of it.
I would have loved to have this in the 🎥 😮
I swear this was in the movie when I watched it on Disney Plus. (First time watching.)
Is it just me or the dialogue is much better in some of these deleted scenes?
The man who stares at Goats.
Imagine they made a halo movie instead
If it’s anything like the show… then I’m not sure that’s a good idea anymore
All this deleted scenes and avatar would be a two parts movie
This scene wasn't cut from the movie when I watched it in a Michigan theater when it was first released.
I really wish these were in the movie I always wanted to know what they were but they cut at “rule number one!”
God i always wanted to know what were the pandora rules...🤣
The rules are there for a reason they are not there to bypass dragass or passgas on hey NUMB NUTS yeah you this is for all hands you want to wake up and pay attention
Why is his pistol facing backwards?
Quick draw I believe
Finally i know the rules
