Demons Row disagree Hangaround 12-24 months then 12 months prospects, then maybe a full patch, but that’s just my opinion, ML&R,
I’ve been a hang around/striker for 3 years it’s about the journey not the patch
@@shawntims948 I agree with you Brother! The Journey is the now! The destination is the future!🤘
#GHOSTIN
many years ago when i wanted to join a club my first lesson was to find a corner, sit down, shut up, watch, listen and learn
yes that is the most important thing study the room
Absolutely right. Best advice you can get before you get into anything.
I did that naturally besides introducing myself to a few of the members
#ghostin
@@SoseTheGhost
Study the room and people and introduce yourself and the club your hangin out with is a huge thing where im at. Mlhr bud. Appreciate all u do
Props to you Demons Row Sgt of Arms Chopper Sose you are giving the next generation valuable wisdom. Ride safe
Much love ride safe 👊👊👊
Recently got invited to start hanging around a mc out here. And what I love is that this is the FIRST club I been around that didn’t immediately talk to me about membership the first day. They told straight up, just hang around and get to know everybody. Then I overheard one of them talk about the prospects saying that they seven months in and are nowhere near ready. All this automatically made me respect the club and actually wanna know more. They ain’t come off too damn thirsty.
I’m currently in the Hang around process and for a riding club and one thing I was told was that I have to hang around for a minimum of 1 year and once I reach prospect it’s a minimum 1 year as a prospect and with me being a hang around I still put forth the work same as the prospects and I just jump in and do it because I respect the club
Silence is golden
I was raised in the 1%er club, they saved my life many times over, they helped me out more times hen I care to count, I only know that life style and proud of it.
much love to you and your brothers
Another great video brother, I’m a member of a 1% club in Australia. My hang around and prospecting period was a total of nearly 3 years before being patched in. Now I’m still here 9 years later. Definitely want quality members over many members. #GHOSTIN
#Ghostin . Indiana. Was a hang around for almost 3 years. I'm 54# prospect science January. I know the guys and some I worked with 10 years. Much respect to all .
With these words of wisdom, you bring hope and deliverance to the Biker culture.. Thank you for your sage advice sir.!
Thank you for the kind words
Just gonna add something all that hard work and dedication you put in. All of the sacrifices you make for that club. Once you get that patch it DOESNT stop. Keep the club close to your heart and work just as hard when you are a brother.
Much love and peace to you. I've watched and enjoy all your videos. Extremely knowledgeable and respectful. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge.
Much love
Love these videos my man. Smartest guy on here! Best channel on here by far. I’m hanging around a bit now with a 1%er club and I was told listen twice talk once
Thank u mike
#Hangaround
What's up Sose. I'm in the hangaround process for a 99% club in AZ. I see how important it is to hangaround to see if you and the club can get along, and see if you can handle the commitment it takes to get in. Thank you for all the good advice.
yea and to see if its what you really want is the club down the block more your style you dont know till you hangaround
Huge props for mentioning MMs! I'm currently a #hangaround ("support member") with Bikers For Christ (BFC). I agree that the hang around process is important. Lets me and the club evaluate each other with no commitments. Thanks Sose!
yw i love every aspect of this culture no exclusions
Thanks for always droppin' this life saving info for ppl who don't know and for ppl who don't know better.
Much love mike
Glad to see you still healthy and pumpin out the content through all this distancing! #Ghostin #HangAround
Slowly working on being a hang around with a 99% MC in Colorado working on gettin a bike to be able to ride with them but have talked to them for a little over a year and they are a kick as group of guys taken my time to prospect with them but I know for sure I will and I’ll rock their cut with pride!!! Stay safe out there brothers keep 2 on ground!!!!! Much love and respect
Much love let me know when you get your bike ill post it on my ig
Sose The Ghost for sure thank you!!!
#GHOSTIN
I started off as a hangaround, and very quickly moved up to prospect, but I EARNED the club's respect. The club is 99%, a clean and sober MC. Every member is in recovery from addiction or alcoholism. They rock a three tier cut with the MC square. Unfortunately I recently got put back down to hangaround for 90 days because I acted in a way that was unbecoming. (For any hangaround or prospect out there, if you are wearing a club patch prospect or full member patch you represent said club and your actions will be attributed to the entire club. Act like it.) I am lucky because the MC that I ride with didn't turn their backs but embraced me and my 90 day hangaround period I'm serving now is just an opportunity for me to learn what I failed to learn the first time around. Anyway I thank you for your videos and just wanted to share my experience with the MC that I ride with.
You nailed it. Everything that you said is spot on. Thank you for shining the light on this topic.
Thank you for tuning in
Great video! I'm not in a MC but what you said is very true. Anything worthwhile takes time.
People can't hide things forever. It takes time for you to see how a person will handle themselves. Time reveals a person's character, personalty & dependability. To have a solid organization of any type you need to have these 3 traits locked in before you even start to invite someone into the inner circle.
I totally agree 👍
Hey dude. Now I know what club you ride with. I know a member or two. I'll see ya on the streets riding 👍 stay good and stay healthy my friend 🤘🤘🤘
An informative video. Gotta post a pic of my Ghostin hoodie! Oh yeah we #Ghostin!
I love your content and I'm learning a lot since I've come across your channel I'm in a riding club and don't know all the do's and don'ts but thanks to for shedding some light on some issues
Glad to help
Love the channel, actually spitting the truth very refreshing to listen to your episodes, i ve been in 2 mcs currently just a civilian again cause of family constraints but you speak the truth on club life. Keep up the good work 👍👍
Thank you take of the fam much love
Back in '70, before black leather, baggers, and bikes with radios, I got to be a hangaround with the Dirty Dozen in Phx, they taught me how to weld, what scrap yard had parts, how to extend a springer and rake out a neck. They kept me safe from other M.C.s, and let me ride with them on weekend nights. Great times for a kid in high school. Later, met a Chapter Pres while in MCSO Durango Unit and got invited to their house party. They're patched over now with Sonny. Can't wait to get back to AZ. Thx for your vid ! Great memories, great chops, great guys !
Mustve been such a different world then
@@SoseTheGhost Same rules, same MCs, same culture, but yeah..totally different style of H-Ds and Levi's. NO electric start, front brake, bags, windshields, turn signals, air rides, or SWAT ! Made our own rain gear by rubbing in old crankcase oil, called them 'slicks'. Clean Levi's for cruisin' Central Ave on a weekend. I might have ridden in the back, but I was ridin' with the Dozen !

I'm not on two wheels YET but watching your channel has definitely shed a lot of light on the whole lifestyle. Even if I dont decide to prospect or anything at all I'm still appreciating the information.

Glad you enjoying it
Great advice as always
Just catching these videos man you really embrace the MC culture and I respect you standing on your word not being afraid to tell about the life of an MC memeber
Thank you jay
#prospect - It was quick more or less. But I was a hang around a club and support club for almost 2 years before I even got a bike and decided to go for it. They told me several times "get a bike and we'll talk" so I finally did and Here I am 63 days in as a PROSPECT. It's cool. Obviously I can't say what club or anything. I'm just a prospect. I don't know much. Love the channel Sose.
Quality is better than Quantity
You are 110% Spot on with this!! ANY club out there would benefit greatly to listen to this!!! Thanks for always putting out great content and being real with it!! #GHOSTIN
#ghostin thank you im glad you enjoy
Love your knowledge brother haven't been watching in a minute but you putting back on game!!
Much love
QUANTITY BETTER THEN QUALITY good one super informative and straight to the point!!!
Your right id rather have 10 real one the a 100 fake
A year so as a hang around year and 1/2 - 2 years as a prospect sounds like a smart idea.
yea its def a smart approach
Very well said. Great video.👍

Thank you for all the MC info I learn alot from watching your videos I greatly appreciate your videos
Thank you john that means alot
#ghostin down Tn way, keepin my fists in the wind & my knees in the breeze. Stay safe up there & keep up the good work
Great info always. Totally agree that hang around phase is so important. I’ve been involved in a lot and most flakes show who they really are in a year.
As for the cream of the crop, I always like to say that I’d rather ride with 5 brothers, than 50 members who don’t even know my name.
#ghostin
You were raised like me my dad was a one percenter I rode with a support club though
It's awesome the level of thought you put in to your reasons for not wearing ycut on your videos. It seems like you wouldn't have to explain it; it's a respect thing.
Thank you for the information about hangaround. An learning about the MC culture..
Much love norberto
Another great episode. Love your channel! I hungaround for a year before prospecting, and glad I did, agree with you about taking your time, get to know the club. One thing you didn't cover but I feel is MOST important: Don't be showing off in front of club members when you're a hangaround. Don't be doing burnouts or wheelies, don't be showboating your bike, don't be bragging about the prison time you served or the kind of drugs you do, or any of that shit. We had a hangaround just this last weekend leaving a BBQ at a member's house revvin his engine and making tons of racket, and tried to pull a burnout as he left, and then the cops showed up 10 minutes later. Homeboy just fucked himself, he won't see a prospect patch for at least a year, and might get slapped next time the member sees him who hosted the BBQ. He won't be welcomed or invited to many events for a while. Stay humble, be polite, keep your mouth shut. DO NOT SHOW OFF. When you're a hangaround, you're a nobody, get used to it and comfortable with it because it's even more true when you prospect. Your job is to learn about the club and its members, to learn about protocol and how to handle yourself. A lot of the older guys think showboats are snitches, so remember that. Play it cool.
Great points nobody likes a showoff
#prospect I hung around and put in work for my club for almost 6 months before I got my prospect patch. #ghostin
#Ghostin much respect
@@SoseTheGhost same to you! I appreciate the wisdom you share here ML&R

I was a #HangAround for #DirtyOnesMC for over a year. I took my time because I wanted to learn what it was at different charters. Plus I had a vacation in Africa coming up didn't want to start prospecting and leave for 2 months so I waited. I came back mid-January and began prospecting the next week. We still riding, but we stagger to keep more distance and meet outdoors now. #415 Keep doing ya thang #ghostin
#GHOSTIN just be safe out there
#ghostin #hangaround a friend of mine is in a local club and he asked me to start hanging around about a year ago, but I was on the fence until I started watching this channel. It interested me in what else this culture brought, so a few weeks ago I started hanging around and so far it’s been extremely fun. I plan on hanging around for at least 6 months to get to know everyone well and turn into their brother. Couldn’t thank you more Sose for bringing all your info to RUclips and helping guys like me step up into the club life
Good advice that can be applied to life in general, not just club life.
Hung around for 7 months before probating. One patch told me he’d rather have 4 quarters then 100 pennies. Feels the same with club members. Quality not quantity.
i love that saying might make a post about that
Right on.
#ghostin another great video keep preaching the truth. #BSRC michigan. Cant wait to get in the wind need some 2 wheel therapy
#Ghostin! Another good Video with great advice and knowledge Bro ML&R 💯
Great show
Loved that you mentioned motorcycle ministries
Much love josh
Sose is a solid dude / old soul
One solid piece of advice is think very carefully before getting involved it’s a long road to becoming a full member and that road is not always smooth and can last years ask yourself can I commit the time and effort that’s needed
#ghostin Saludo Boricua! Sose dropping wisdom once again. You having to repeat how important is to hang-around a club must mean how critical that is. Personality is everything! More nuggets of wisdom: "anything that's worth something is going to require hard work", "you want the best looking girl in town, you've got to put in the work", "study the room" (that one works in every situation, work, or professional environment. Talking about what you don't know around people that you just met is a universal signal of immaturity. That's why I keep saying that MC culture has so much to offer to developing men these days. Anyone that can maintain a fake personality for three years is probably a sociopath. Loving the videos brother!
Much love my brother. Ive told a lot of new comers, hang around, and prospects "never pass up a good chance to shut up" meaning watch and learn, take it all in and learn from someone elses F'ups. Lessons learned dont have to be direct to you. lol But with this instant gratification culture, nobody wants to put in the work to get there. And like you said, fast tracking leads to wrong people being let in !
I had family in my club already and got in a little fast but still spent 3 years putting in work to get here. I have brothers who spent 5-6 years on their journey to get here.
yea if you have family its different
Gotta say/ u made a lot of sense 2day. Hang around time is good for everyone involved. Hang around needs to see wat he’s getting into. Club needs to follow there protocol & not waver due to new circumstances ⁉️ The longer he hangs out before u decide to let him prospect he will show his dedication & stamina in wat he wants to be apart of/ if it’s to easy he might wonder wat kind of outfit is he joining up with. U are exactly right/ quality/ not quantity. U gotta make it hard so u know u are getting a solid individual who is in it for the long haul/ & u can feel comfortable that this person will have ur back, under any circumstance!!!! Ur club is only as good as its weakest link⁉️ Have a great day SOSE!!!! Be safe/ be strong/ & God Bless!!!🦅🏍⚒⚡️☠️
My brother loving the videos.
Lot of wisdom packed into this vid
I'm a #Hangaround for a MC in my area. I got to know some members at a local bar a little over 2 years ago. After a little bit of time passed I was invited was to open house at the MC ch. I have met some outstanding guys who have helped me when my own family wouldn't. I look forward to being able to move up when the time comes. I've learned a lot the last couple of years and look forward to learning more as I'm around longer. #Ghostin
Im happy for you
Thanks for keeping it 100%

@@DemonsRow I have a question, I grew up in southern Cal barrio, I also grew up around fellas in the bike seen and many different cultures. Growing up in the southsider neighborhoods I ended up on the wrong side of things, long story short I did a stretch from 97 to 2011, do you have any info on groups that ride who pro ex felon, I did the home boy thing growing up and don’t have to much trust for that in this time and age, by the way I love your channel and appreciate your info, I have known a lot of 1% percenters some ate cheese and some were stand up brothers, thanks again.
Much obliged to you Sose. Great content. I’m 43 and started riding at 14. Rode alone after the Army then took a spill and busted a wrist real bad. It’s rideable but not for long hauls. I’m hoping to get back into a H-D soon. #Ghostin
I agree that hang around time is most important and hit right on why it is important!!

#ghostin! Your words are gold. I am going through the hang around process right now and am trying my best to learn. I got to admit that it's a bit confusing during this period. There is a lot to consider and keep track of.
Watch for them bad mouthing each other if you see it as a hangaround complete shhh show
@@DemonsRow So would you advise getting out of that club if that happens?
Yeah forsure. If they’re shit talking eachother in your presence how are they gonna respect you as a brother if they don’t even respect each other that way.

But do you think there is a cut off age on joing? Is too young a thing?
I'm a hang around for a local mc just started doing that last month. #GHOSTIN
As always you are on point 100 ML&R
#hangaround been around the club for a year and a half before I officially became a hangaround. Getting to know the members more and more each time I see them. There are no stupid questions. It's better to ask a question then go around assuming stuff. Keep up the videos dude. These videos give me alot of good knowledge.
Yes your right #Gho⚡tin we go live tonight 6pm eastern taking live calls
As a young guy who loves bikes, been around clubs a little bit and not really sure what could be for me, what direction would you point me in? Family first is my biggest thing no matter who you are to me (I’m adopted so bonds are stronger than blood) but people have forced me to live a lone wolf style but it’s really not for me. Much love and mad respect for what you’re out here teaching us young bucks. Stay #Ghostin
#ghostin what i say is find a group that you feel comfortable around and then hang out with them so mong there true colors are shown then an only then think about prospecting
#ghostin. Love your videos. Is your merchandise all American made? I try really hard to not buy stuff made in China Japan Korea or any where else other than the U.S.A.

I guess I got lucky I got a reputation as a serious rider that rides all year despite weather and rides dangerous roads for fun and rides fast and was approached 2 years ago by 2 clubs to join I turned em down until last month and I finally said yes as they were starting a new chapter in my town and with me being the 1st to join I've been given the vp position, or at least that's what I thought till I asked the prez and he said chose me as vp because how I carry myself and because I'm such a dedicated rider that respects all others until there's a need for disrespect. We currently have 9 members in the chapter and working our way towards pres getting reblessed and the rest of us getting blessed and vested but the club has been all love and fun and that's why I finally agreed to join love of bikes and respect for your brothers on 2s which is what bike life should be imo
Yea thats what the new problem is these days. I think they call it Instant Gratification. Nobody wants to put in the time anymore they want to be rewarded right away or they dont wanna bother
#Ghostin great information Sosa you seem like a great person. Your M.C has to be proud of having a stand-up person like yourself.
#ghoston love the info and education that you share. Lots of info that everyone can apply to daily life. ✌️🍀
#Ghostin #OnTwos in #WestTn I see 2 levels on #Hangaround. First, there is the Unofficial hangaround. It’s when someone starts to ride with a club. Just getting to know the Club and members. Also you’re not sponsored. Next level is the Official #Hangaround. You have a sponsor. You may not even know your sponsor, but he’s there. At this level of Official, the full members are watching to see if you’re Prospect material. These two levels should take, at least, 1 year each level. Now I hope more go this route before any prospect is awarded. #RideNotHide
your right there are 2 levels and i was talking about more unofficial hangaround #ghostin great points
Going thru the hangaround process now . Four years in , good information !
Four years man that club is the real deal

Appreciate you being here thank you for the sub
#hangaround. Great advice Sose. Your words are invaluable.
Thank you brother
I know a Cossacks prospect is all. Montana where riding season is 5 months is difficult to get to know anyone
Got in too fast and left after a month, wish I saw this before I patched. Respect
Any club that let's you get in too fast is a bad club to begin with in my opinion
@@209er2 I mean, I prospected for a year but was only a hang around for like a week. That’s where I fucked up, I should have been a hang around more, when I wasn’t sure I was about it, I was already to committed. Got patch hungry
Good shit man! Very well spoken as always
Appreciate you mike
Good article and relevant point's of argument made. Keep going with the quality of the content on your channel. 😎👍
Thank u appreciate it
#Ghostin. Well said Sose...
I see too many clubs that care only about numbers. They care more about riding deep than finding real, like minded brothers. I'd rather role 5 deep with four brothers that I can trust with my life, my wife, and my kids, than roll 50 deep down the highway with a bunch of guys that I don't know shit about. The desire for big numbers makes it way too quick and easy to get a patch.
I’ll b ghostin in a few months. Cramming knowledge atm keep up the awesome vids!
Good Word sir. Much respect for your forthrightness. I still owe you a picture as promised. You'll get it soon.
# hang around for 1% came up through their rc support club . Asked to come up..
