They go back and forth all the time. WVA MVP is a classic battle for a reason. MVP beat WVA at worlds, Pidcock even had his moments beating both riders this past season. It is entirely possible we may see a big 3 battle this season instead of a big 2 battle.....
Kinda hard for me to take this sport seriously when they have to constantly get off the bike and walk. Can they really not use a MTB with the appropriate tyres? Imagine a motocross or moto gp rider doing the same thing, would be so ridiculous.
@@JacobChristiansen1it is ridiculous. As ridiculous as a humvee driving F1. They fall on a staircase like drop cause the bikes just suck for this😂 I mean hell. A bit longer and flatter fork , not even suspension , would probably help without real drawback.
It’s great in that you only need a small area of space in a local park. And as spectator you get to see all of the race. Cross country is ok in that way but the course is still much bigger, and gravel is just amateurs having fun at the weekend, don’t see the appeal of that at all as a spectator sport
Good!! Mathieu
I was here watching this it was so cool to see all the pros
As Louis van Gaal would say... " with 2 fingers in the nose".

WVA goat
Did gon d during TDK
no luck, all skill
He’s built like a race horse
It's hard to beat a robot. 🤖
There are some passages that look more suited for fatbikes!
Absolutely! Wait until you see Val di Sole this weekend!
@@gcnracing I would applaud every fatbike rider out there! 🎉♥️

MVDP build riding skill on regular mtb xc race.
WVA just used the power, cz he's road oriented
That's just bs, wva was a triple Cyclocross world champ before he even started on the road.. he's only been racing on the road since 2018
気の毒だな、ここまで勝てないと
Good that MVDP got a win at least. Was all to often that WVA won against him.😆

MVP can’t buy a win against Wout this week

you must be new to the sport of cycling

@@gur262 Yes, and a car would do a better job at marathon. Are you new to sport?
@@gur262 that’s the point of the sport a mountain bike terrain on a road bike it’s a big sport in Belgium search it on Google
Cyclocross have always looked weird to me. I'd rather watch XC mtb racing, or gravel racing.

Weird as it may be, it's really fun.
@entoh le that or just a gravel bike with 40-50 mm of tire width, im so confused why their regulations for tire width are like 38-33 mm lol
@entoh le normal mtb isn't as fast from what I've seen.
CX is the father of everything that came later
Bcuz the sport isn't lame enough they had to introduce this?
Imagine thinking Cyclocross is lame
Introduce what? Cyclocross? The discipline was just introduced... About 110 years ago.
@Maximilian the barriers are an integral part going back about 110 years.
@@bobroberts5820 imagine being "Jeff ronion" and being a lame hater lol
"Jeff Runyan" is a little slow to the bike party, take a seat. hopefully you have caught up on cross history during the last 10 months. lol
Where was the master class…like the whole point of cyclocross… I’m confused?
