This sheet metal from the oil pan is called "oil pan baffle", meant to prevent the engine from starving from oil when you go around turns, up hills, etc.😉
I really appreciate what you doing with that engine. I have a 2015 with the same engine parked outside right and I am contemplating the same build. My issue is whether or not the transmission and drive train can handle such a build.
@cornellmiller236 they can rica has transmission tuning and you can get high pressure valvebody for transmission also. And add cooler and you good to go.
Can the 96mm crank from the 3.2 liter handle as much power as the 93.2mm 3.0 liter can? Have been dreaming for years about building one of these engines with iron sleeves to go to 84mm bore and using the 3.2 crank to get a turbo engine to 3.2.
I have a 2018 S90 T6. Do you happen to have the same motor? Or did? I see yours is a 3.0 now. Trying to find some content of people modding my car as I’m new too the Volvo platform. Can’t seem to figure out if there’s different generations of the T6 or they all the same aswell?
@@abrahamruberte2053 it's not as simple as that. That not how this engine works. You get the right locking tool from dealer when it locks in place it's in right position
Another solid video, Just straight to the point with everything! We released a portable jump starter with air pump pack. Can we invite you to do a review? We have emailed for an inquiry.
so happy to see this build back
Glad youre back!
Welcome back
So the special tool make it that the timing is set . You make it look easy 😮
@@LouiseCilliers-ro3bp it is easy once you have the right tools and you know how to use it.
🙏 Thanks for all the videos ❤

I will wait and see how yours perform. I have been waiting from you blew your engine so I might as well wait until you complete the build
Do you use thread lock on any screws or studs?

Did having the head machined change the compression?
@samzatoichi8330 no. It was straight.
When you lock the crankshaft, which piston should be on top?

Can't you just ust two sets of T5 ARP studs for the hed? you just need two extra stud/nut/washer for T6.
I set the tool but it’s lock in both positions on crankshaft. When I set the tool lock in half way and turn the engine and lock again.
@@abrahamruberte2053 you got the wrong tool that chinese knock off.
I got the same tool you’re showing on video
@abrahamruberte2053 i showed 2 of them one correct one and one that is not correct. Does yours have the circle on it?
