I just put in an order for 5 of the PC&F SP/SSW boxcars. As able I'm hoping to add a few more in the coming weeks as funds and availability allows. This will be great to mix with my SP/SSW FMC double door boxcars.
the faded out ones are very nice. see you guys at Amherst in a week. hope you can stop by the miniprints booth at noon on Saturday, you tube meet and greet, And Jordan, you are a you tube star..... did I butter that up too much ?
Rapido B70’s for N scale! Definitely need those SP/SSW cars with the Superior doos here as they had 1500 of them and I need at least a six pack to help fill in my fleet… That door swap would be a great idea for 1:160 too
My Dealer is a little slow to get stuff. Hopefully by the end of the month. But Rapido, you really should have offered/created some loads for the centerbeam cars. Loads for open cars have always been an issue. I snap up some custom ones when I find them and have built a few; but nice wrapped and unwrapped loads would have been_great_! Like what Wheels of Time offered! Otherwise I look forward to what I've ordered.
Those ONR cars have apparently ɓeen scrapped, but i see frequently, back and forth 3 ONR boxcars coupler together on CN Kingston sub toward Montréal (?) No idea from where to where and what´s inside, but otherwhise i never see ONR stuff.
Yes, absolutely. We produce less N scale at this current time, but have some ongoing projects right now and more to be announced. You can find our current N scale here rapidotrains.com/n-scale.html.
@@rapidotrains I know that the opera window style was done, but I don’t recall ever seeing a standard center beam in 63’ lengths. If I am right, something to think about.
Now I'm definitely going to have to pick up some of those centerbeams and every single boxcar of the cotton belt and sp! Wallet ain't gonna like that but who has to tell him!
@@rapidotrains Would this run of undecorated cars be a good model for the SP B-70-80 class, numbers 246xxx with the small yellow "Cushion Car" above the reporting marks? If not, would that car be considered in the future? Thank you guys! See you in Springfield!
Unfortunately this is the cost to produce highly detailed ready-to-run models with road-specific detailing. There are numerous more cost-effective kits on the market for the modeller to build and detail themself, but it all comes down to the age-old dance of time vs. money.
@phaloxx. Who pays MSRP? In the US, the street price is in the $47/$48 range at some vendors. But a combination of inflation and overseas production/shipping costs have hit the consumer in many ways. Sure, prices are out of control everywhere, groceries, housing, restaurants. No body likes it but complaining ain't gonna do you any good. For SP fans, this is a nice addition to our model fleets.

Sorry, not sorry! 😆
Beautiful cars!

Super nice boxes!! I will get the SP six pack and extra Cotton Belt road numbers! Nice job!!
You need to make the boxcar in O Scale!!!!!
Very nice! I'll need a couple of those SP/SSW cars. I see they're not listed at my usual vendors yet.
Great! These are in transit to dealers now and should be in stores in the next week or 2.
I ordered 2 cars and received them today. I just uploaded a review of the box cars to my RUclips channel. @@rapidotrains
I had a preorder for a few centerbeams, have yet to see an invoice for those.
If you haven’t heard from the orders team, please send an email and they will be in touch! rapidotrains.com/contact
Cool Stuff See You At The Big E Fairgrounds Next Saturday 😁
Cool , I have the ONR cars on order. Soon
Awesome looking cars.
I'll be getting a few Ontario Northland box cars for sure!!

Hey do you produce any N scale locomotives and train cars that's the scale I m in I have been there for 45 years now
Yes, absolutely. We produce less N scale at this current time, but have some ongoing projects right now and more to be announced. You can find our current N scale here rapidotrains.com/n-scale.html.
Was there ever a 60’ standard center beam prototype flatcar? If so, I think that would be more ideal for lots of smaller layouts than another 72’ car.
63’ Centerbeam cars do exist and have been produced by other model manufacturers in the past. The NSC 73’ cars have never been produced however.

Definitely not us. 😅
Will the 6 packs have different road numbers?
They always have different road numbers in the 6 packs.
Very impressive looking cars. Will there be a run of Southern Pacific/Cotton Belt without the ACI plates printed on?
We will be doing more runs of these cars in the future with different paint details. Stay tuned!

Another great product from you guys
But ,,,,,,,,where's Janet?
Los vagones muy bueno pero les pido que fabriquen la rsd12 de alco
Hey, when are you going to be doing the CTA 3200 series car
Do you know when the budd coaches for via rail will be releasing soon? or the year they will be potentially releasing?
These are still in development, but we should have an update coming soon. Hard to say a timeline as of year however. Stay tuned!
Hopefully all the GVSR, SP patched boxcars don’t have reflective tape, because the artwork didn’t show it…
These are nice but not $60 nice. The prices for stuff is out of control anymore.
