@@Akumzze Hi, maybe you can help me out? I plan on spending a new years eve in Poland, since you guys have the fun stuff. But I'm not familiar with the Polish laws. Does it require a license for the large calibers? And can I shoot it where I want, or are there certain areas for that? I don't want to cause trouble (or get in trouble). Gotta respect the laws as a guest. Thanks in advance. Na zdrovie from Denmark.
@@phunkeehone Hello brother .I didn't interpret it correctly. I don't live in Poland, I just know that they have good fireworks there. Sorry for that. I can still explain the fireworks law to you. As far as I know, in Poland you can buy fireworks all year round. The F3/F4 category fireworks sold in some stores in Poland are not legal. There is no explosives law. The Administrative Offenses Act (Kodeks Wykroczeń) is relevant throughout Poland, in particular Articles 51, 107 and 140. These deal with harassment and disturbing the peace. In other words: If someone feels disturbed by your shooting and therefore calls the police, you will be prosecuted for a misdemeanor. As far as I know, the penalty is the equivalent of around 120 EUR. However, municipalities and district administrations can make locally valid special regulations for setting off fireworks, and many have done so, in most cases a restriction to December 31st. and 01.01. To be sure what the situation is in the region you want to travel to, you must write to the municipal administration (Urząd Gminy). This must be done in good Polish; you will usually not receive an answer to inquiries in German, English or poor Google Translator translations. I hope I could help you. 😁
@@phunkeehone I forgot to say that I would not recommend you to buy the F3/F4 category of firecrackers. They are life-threatening. I would rather buy fireworks like rockets etc. 😀
@@Akumzze Oh, my mistake then. I just figured you lived in Poland by the way you wrote. But thanks for the explanation, it's definitely helpful. And about the f3/f4 firecrackers, I usually stay away from them. I don't mind if other people shoot them, but I prefer to keep my limbs. Besides that, I had enough of things that just goes 'boom' in the army. Now I prefer to watch colors in the sky (cakes, rockets etc). Thank you once again, it's truely appreciated. Have a nice evening and stay safe. 🙂
Fantastisk video Andy!
Hello Andy, You found some great 2" cakes. I like the Kolos best followed by Hydra. Breaks seemed quite loud. Very nice. Andy, since you travel around a lot, I have a question. With the new firecracker restrictions in Poland. Which country in Europe has the best firecrackers or salutes available for sale to the general public? Thanks again and Pyro on.
I would say austria, but i only know about Poland/Austria/Germany/Switzerland/Netherlands/Belgium/Denmark/Sweden/France/England. Italy im not sure, and albania too.
It doesn't look that impressive on video ( except the Mamut and the Kolos ), but I think that's partly because of the distance of filming. And 2" often doesn't seem that impressive on film, you have to experience that. But it's nice that you explain that it was great in real life!
@@AndyThePyro Yeah exactly, usually the difference with 30mm and 50mm is not very visible on film, but in real life it is mainly the burst, the size of the effects are slightly wider and the effects are a bit more filled. But on film it often just looks like 30mm 😅 Except with the Mamut and the Kolos because those effects are really big!
I think the Kolos was the only one that was actually any good for a 50 mm. I used to be a big fan of cakes like the Göteborg Brocade Crown and their other 25 shot 50 mm cakes. The good old Super Finale is also pretty good.
Yeah I somewhat agree... The video doesn't actually do the cakes justice, looks much smaller than in reality but I get what you're saying. It's hard to compare to some of those cakes since they were massively "overloaded"...
@@AndyThePyro Yes. I used to order them in bulk as they made for great filler in smaller shows behind 3", 4" and 5". Were they actually that overloaded? Not sure Feng still makes them, but about 10-15 years ago, they made a line of fully loaded pro grade 2" shells, and they were in a totally different league. I dunno, maybe it's just me. The Göteborg cakes always just struck me as a sensible step up from a good normal 30mm consumer shot. But then again, as you probably also know, when you have shot enough of the big stuff, it kind of gets harder to judge the size and loading of the small consumer stuff. Hell, even good 3" and 4" are kind of pedestrian to a degree. That said, god I love Feng 4" shells. No better workhorse shell out there in my humble opinion.
Dude, ship these to me. I'll pay you top dollar X whatever you think is fair. Not joking. I live in Californication. We'll keep it on the down low I promise, in this public comment 😂
FYI: Iskra only does 50mm cakes because it catches the customer, in 1.3G there is a limit of 40g/shot which is way too little for 2inch shot (40g can be easily done with 38mm shot tubes) Thatswhy i wouldn’t buy these 2inch cakes except the Kolos. Funke line has the best stuff imo
Good to know, do you know if that's a common thing in 50mm? Regardless of the brand? I might as well stick to 40-45mm then, don't want to waste my money.
These cakes were a pleasant surprise. Hard to tell on video but they were breaking BIG! Which one was your favorite?
I think my favorite is the Hydra, but I also really like brocade mixed with willows 3:46
Last one
MAMUT
Mamut is best

Vad ska jag ta mig till med dig?!?! hahahaha

Aaaand Sweden 😁 Where you from?
@@AndyThePyro Still Germany, man🤬😋
Haha my apologies, my memory is rather… degraded, to say the least 😂 But in germany you have so many other good options 👌🏻👌🏻

Kolos är grym😊👍🏻
