- Was Cartoon Network Arabic really hacked to play a cartoon from Animan Studios? A new video has been spreading around RUclips, TikTok, and other social media platforms that reveals this "hacked" Cartoon Network Arabic, but there are some red flags to its authenticity. My videos are produced with the editor Camtasia Studio 2022 and I use a Blue Yeti Microphone to record. All scripts are written by me. Any footage used is from various TV shows, movies, and games to illustrate my personal thoughts on these pieces of media. All stock photos and images are either created by me or are sourced from publicly viewable image websites. Feel like some context is needed here in light of how viral this went in less than a week:
The vid and the tweet have nothing to do with me. They were shown to me by a friend on discord and we both got a good chuckle out of it (said friend also has nothing to do with it). Then after not being able to find the clip anywhere else I uploaded it here with now idea of how viral it would become. I honestly have no idea if it's actually real or not, I just figured someone might have used playback to record it and posted it mere hours before I found it. I also have no idea how @RCM's clip ended up on social media in the first place. Obviously I had no idea I'd go viral for just reposting a funny meme I found on discord.
lol been posting this since day one that was fake still someone insisting "they had a recording" and "it's real" but since RCM does claim this so its all done.

Some people really do underestimate how easy it is to make fake TV recordings; this video is one of many fakes that are made purely for shitposting purposes but it just became viral. If it hadn't, I'm pretty sure it'll just be like any of the other fakes out there lol

@@umbrella3096 A lot of kids tend to use cheap software to make TV hijackings, especially in the Russian part of RUclips that I have seen. If it's edited in such a way, you can easily assume that there's no way the video is real.

It could happen at some point. I imagine hacking technology is always getting better to counter newer security measures much to our dismay. So its not much of stretch saying that this can happen. But it's kind of unnerving and scary of what hackers will do if they get a hold of things on their systems.

And they even made the announcer say “العرض الشهواني” (translation:”erotic show”) which when the original creator was asked how they did it they said they took a clip of the announcer saying “العرض العادي” (translaton:”regular show”) and used ai to make it say that
I’m experienced with international CN feeds and archive stuff from them, unfortunately this is fake. The uploader of the HQ version states that it’s fake and they wish it was real. Also CN Arabic only operates in 576p which would debunk the HQ version, but it’s a very good mock!

I have yet to see a broadcast hijack (I live in the UK) but I have before seen a few technical difficulties messages before now! Once in 1996, while Nickelodeon were airing a S4-7 Turtles episode, the show reset to the intro and during the “Leonardo leaps, Donatello…” part, it cut to a Technical Difficulties message that started with “Sorry, we’ve been dogged”!
I also remember at one point during a BBC2 airing of The Munsters that same decade, the sound turned buzzy, causing them to cut to a Technical Difficulties message!
I have seen Sky One (replaced by Sky Showcase and Sky Max in 2021) cut to technical difficulties messages a few times, once during a rerun of Simpsons episode Homer’s Enemy sometime in the 2000s! When news broke of the Queen’s death last year, Sky Showcase interrupted a rerun of Much Apu About Nothing in cutting to Sky News coverage!
I'm from Spain and I saw broadcast hijacks on RUclips such as Captain Midnight.

I made it as a meme but many people thought it's real. I didn't say in my original post that it's real cuz I didn't know it will blow up on the internet like that. (The original post was on Twitter but I deleted it shortly after I found out that many people stole it and their vids gained more views than mine)

Fun Fact: I went to Twitter and went to CN account to see if they said anything if they got hacked but there was nothing of them explaining that they did got hacked. So that means CN did NOT get hacked so this is BUSTED!

at 2:00 you can see in the higher quality version you can see the lines of string on that bloke but in the version first posted you can see theres no lines of string but rather the blokes face is smooth with no string. this isnt just chocked up to the low quality losing the strings due to pixles since later in the same video you can see the black lines that outline the people in the animan studios clip.

While I no longer watch TV much as of late, about three friends of mine I know that often watch CN Arabic that late.
I did some asking around, and the answers I got were basically from two of them was "I don't think so", and the third wasn't watching at the time as I anticipated.
While their answers aren't 100% sure (since none of them paid close attention to the time while watching), I can't say it's 100% fake. Just heavily unlikely because if they saw some something of that sort..
1 - They would easily mention or remember it if it was "uncensored" and the such.
2 - Twitter in Arabian regions would talk about it everywhere too, and not a tiny handful.
I honestly think it’s fake, because if it did happen, You’d see Cartoon Network Arabic saying “Sorry for the Inconvenience”…
I actually thought the hack was real. I remember that years ago, Cartoon Network got hacked and played a Call of Duty meme. But I saw the high quality version a while back and figured out it was fake. However, comments on the high quality version believe it's still real.
The one where the Gumball episode cuts to Call of duty Black Ops 2? The VHS effect made it instantly look fake to me.

Additionally, as a previous viewer of Cartoon Network, I know quite well that the show Clarence (featuring the faces of the three characters after the Teen Titans Go clip seen at 1:58) has been off the channel for years now, at least to prior knowledge. I doubt Cartoon Network would still be advertising it if they really did remove showings of this series.

what gave it away for me was the fact that literally every upload of it was the same video and there was no different footage of it
@@iiCounted-op5jx In all fairness, footage of real TV hackings are also scarce because not everyone is recording a rerun or something. iirc only two recordings by different people exist of the Captain Midnight and Max Headroom incidents from the 1980s.
Also I think Cartoon Network wouldn't be on at 4am. It would have switched to Adult Swim.
Cartoon Network Arabia doesn't do that, it airs cartoon network 24/7 so there is no adult swim because of course it will be bad for kids to watch.
Ohhhh I wish I could've been there to see it to give my thoughts... but I missed it, but yeah, it's crazy to think one of my childhood channels I grew up with *(specifically THIS)* got "hacked" and showed that.

cartoon network arabic doesn't have adult swim, and they stream their content on a tv satellite system that airs it 24/7 called Nilesat, either way it's still fake
