It's genuinely amazing to see Shovelware come come long from their beginnings. Even though the old games they made weren't the best, they contained tons of memories. The new game also remains feels of the olds. Props to them!
Shovelware studios is nostalgic to me. Mostly known for making captain underpants obbies, etc. The games got deleted(probably because of copyright from Dreamworks and Dav Pikley, or whatever his name is)
I wouldn't say they "weren't the best." I mean, their obbies probably had the most effort but into them (no I'm not counting platforming games in general just obbies cause Robot 64, and Egg Hunt 2018 probably triumph over any Shovelware Obby) and Despicable Forces is probably still up there in at the Top 25 Roblox games for me
I am so proud to be a 14 year old who recognizes him from the origin. I can finally rest in peace knowing this buried memory from my youth having an amazing comeback. I play this game daily just for that boost of sweet sweet nostalgia.

If you wish to fight me, then learn who Bela Lugosi is! Oh, and the references are absolute gold. I’m still so angry I didn’t get a chance to screenshot the hiimdaisy persona 4 comic reference when it popped up in a game I was playing, and my boyfriend flipped out when he saw the old Super Mario Bros Show YTP reference. So much to love about this game, especially its eclectic humor and writing getting me to finally play roblox again :]

As someone who has been playing ROBLOX since 2016 onwards, I can say that the Dancing Banana didn’t fully die out in ROBLOX. There have been numerous times he’s shown up, like in SW Studio’s old games, or in games like Meepcity in the form of the TV.
Remember when there was only OBBY GAMES? yep, they make some of the best games on the other half of my childhood. I wish I was born in the 2000s sometimes.

They made some of the most high quality games on the platform. With cutscenes and everything (I’m not sure if cutscenes are standard now, but they were really special back then) I loved their games, but they were really obscure. And I’m happy the team is getting the praise they deserve.

From what I have seen, their is not much essence of the song or the dance in the game, just a face, with the pleasure of the game simply coming from the amazing studio. I've been following shovelware studios for a while and I can guarantee they make actually good games on roblox, this specific one has absolutely astounding animation and voice acting, full of references to their previous works and other pop culture characters. Roblox can be pretty, ahem... terrible, but this is one of the good ones.
Shovelware studios was my childhood, I was heartbroken when they removed the obbies, after shrunken school obby came out I was glad they made a comeback, but didn't get as much fame despite its high quality. After slime simulator or whatever it was called I was so mad they stopped doing obbies, that I left their group (I did eventually play slime simulator and it honestly was very good). After the brain game was announced I thought it would be another bust, not as popular as the old ones, but I was wrong, DEAD WRONG! The quality, the animations, the osts, it was all so good..... And I found out that some fans brought back the old obbies with the exact same quality, I think their group name was Shovelware runners or something, anyways Shovelware really has improved over the years and I am looking forward to future games and updates in the future 🤪
I wish this was an actual game that you can get. It being on roblox is kinda a bummer because not lots of people like roblox. If they make a game that's not in roblox, then I think more people will be happy

i remember a point during my childhood where me and a bunch of kids were gathered around a teacher during recess as she played the peanut butter jelly time song using her phone, and we were all dancing to it. i can't remember if it happened during kindergarten or elementary, but i still remember it fondly. if only i had the confidence to dance the same way i did back then.
Funny enough, I knew the dancing banana from a different Roblox game (The Normal Elevator), and I also loved all of Shovelware Studios’ themed obbies. Seeing the banana AND Shovelware Studios back is super cool, especially in this format.
I love his design, especially his eyes. It just adds so much flare to the character. Also, the game's art style gives me Gamecube vibes, which is always a great thing.

Shovelware studios was my childhood, I was heartbroken when they removed the obbies, after shrunken school obby came out I was glad they made a comeback, but didn't get as much fame despite its high quality. After slime simulator or whatever it was called I was so mad they stopped doing obbies, that I left their group (I did eventually play slime simulator and it honestly was very good). After the brain game was announced I thought it would be another bust, not as popular as the old ones, but I was wrong, DEAD WRONG! The quality, the animations, the osts, it was all so good..... And I found out that some fans brought back the old obbies with the exact same quality, I think their group name was Shovelware runners or something, anyways Shovelware really has improved over the years and I am looking forward to future games and updates in the future 🤪
The fact they even bring the annoying orange back, truly the best moment of all time.

Holy moly, i completely forgot about PBJT Banana, you just unlocked a massive nostalgia memory for me. This is one helluva surprise and the game should be its own thing, separate from Roblox.
I've played this game and whoa. It doesn't even feel like Roblox, it looks like something from a CGI cartoon. And also I've played a lot of Shovelware obbies. Anybody remember back when Shrunken School Obby was Captain Underpants Obby or something like that?
i remember a point during my childhood where me and a bunch of kids were gathered around a teacher during recess as she played the peanut butter jelly time song using her phone, and we were all dancing to it. i can't remember if it happened during kindergarten or elementary, but i still remember it fondly. if only i had the confidence to dance the same way i did back then.

Funny enough, I knew the dancing banana from a different Roblox game (The Normal Elevator), and I also loved all of Shovelware Studios’ themed obbies. Seeing the banana AND Shovelware Studios back is super cool, especially in this format.
The moment you posted this a couple of days later it went from 189 million views to 190 million views
To top it off, the animations in the game are like literally on par with Doors, unbelievable
