I had the same problem on my 2013 sportage. I put some lubricant on that part and the squeaking noise is gone now. It may not be permanent fix, but at least I know what make the noise. A big thanks from AB 🇨🇦!
What lubricant did you use?
@@Dezzyhamilton Use Silicone Spray. Don't use Lithium Grease spray since it degrades rubber.
I know it's a old video but man all I got to say is thanks ,it fixed the problem in my wife's car ..same dam noise
Good fix. Maybe if you greased the bushing first it would have made it go in easier
You do not use grease!!!!!
You want to drive it in tight metal on metal!
Excellent job. Nicely done, sir.
Thanks!
Where can I find u I want to bring my Hyundai same problem it’s a 2011
My 06 sonata making this noise from the back. Like if there was a plastic piece stuck somewhere but when i pulled over and looked underneath and didnt see anything. Haven't drove it since
Hello, I need this answer urgently. I need to change this tomorrow. The one on the shock absorber is the same support.
I think the date is the manufacture date...they manufacture them to be ready for sale the following year...
There was a rule. 10th month goes to next year, before is year of. That got screwed up somehow. Now you need a build date?
@@RustBeltAuto its just my guess...idk
I just had a rear shock installed on the right rear, and now it's making all kinds of squeaking. Took it back to the dealer and getting the old "Can't find anything wrong with it" story...
They must not like money.
I currently have the same problem on mine. I have a 2013 and makes a squeaky noise on the rear right driver side everytime im driving on a bumpy road. Been like this for like 2 months now.
You could wait forever for the noise to go away, if nothing is loose. Maybe drive it into a vat of lubricant, and lanolin once in a while.
A lot of help 👍🏾
I’m going to order one from rock auto but says lower upper forward or rear upper what one do I get confused
Any advice on what bushing press kit every place wants to do the whole knuckle when its just the bushing cause the old lady smoked a raccoon noise should up after that
Maybe one of these?

Good fix. You have use 1-1/4 socket to remorve it and what is socket number that you have used to install the bushing?
Cannot remember.
@@RustBeltAuto 1-7/16 socket
Is there a brushing for the other arm right above that that i can change at the same time?
Do whatever you want. If it's not broke, I don't fix it.
A great job where did you get that jack stand from I have a scissor lift wanted the max Jack but anyway I'd love to have one of those let me know what brand it is thank you.
I got that mid size screw stand from Greg Smith equipment.
@@RustBeltAuto thx, have one on order...
So it was the lower control arm ?
Did you watch the video?
Gravy job I do these alot in the Hyundai's I see in our shop
Do you use a ball joint press too?
@@RustBeltAuto yup. I normally give that bushing a bit more of a chamfer with the bench grinder, then the hole too just like a c hair of one, helps it start straight with a hammer. I had to just do this on the wifes Elantra touring last week. Same cars if you ever have a rattle that's not a link or a bar bushing or shock in the rear it'll be something called a toe link check it with the suspension loaded and you'll rattle that ball joint around for sure. Hers needed that too.
@@kennethhodge9637 thanks!
Instead of replacing the bushing, could you just silicone spray it or use AT205 reseal?
No
@@RustBeltAuto Ok. Thanks for the reply!
@@sugarkang The bushing was worn and moving, pretty much out of spec. Suspension bushings aren't supposed to move in place. They are supposed to keep things in place. That would lead to tire wear eventually.
Привет! Напиши где заказать запчасти ? НОМЕРА и коды запчастей. Или ссылки на Amazon. Спасибо

Whats the name of that part and the bushing name
It's a rear knuckle bushing. I got had a hard time finding it outside of the dealer. Found one at oreillys. Sorry if the part number is not in the video. I cannot remember.
Did this actually fix the problem
Yes
Driving a crazy person crazy…lol
The noise still there ! ?
What noise? I don't hear anything.
I can hear the squeaking sound at 0:15 ~0:18.
But, after 7:55 can’t see & hear 👂 any things.
So problem not solve.
Sorry ! My men.
@@scottvan1898 I fixed it. If I do a video on a fix, and it's not fixed, I won't post the video, and call it a fix.
@ThePariss333 There is no we in you. I showed you how I found the noise. It's self explanatory. Thanks for watching!
@ThePariss333 what part of "I'm going to jounce it, make sure the noise is gone, and call it a job" don't you understand?
Yooo!
Yo!
i love your video, you start by flipping the camera and then proceed to make me laugh att the funny things you do that makes you great to watch such as 3:35 you hanging the rotor. because i am about 3 seconds behind i see this and crack up as i wasnt expecting this. then this 3:55 the noise after you drive it out bfffrrrrrrrt, that killed me, 4:34 the socket falls LOL sry, edibles last over night and you kill me lmfao i am not making fun of you, i just think these are signs of a genius Okay bye!
