It always nice to see the difference being in the smokies and cstching a couople brookies does to a person. You can see the difference in just your smile from the time you got out of the car until you got back to it. Its magic man, i swear it is
You are exactly right! Those are some special fish and any day spent chasing native brookies is a good day. Then if you get to catch a few that’s icing on the cake. Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you! I use Epidemic Sound for almost all of my music. It has a large library of royalty free music that I’ve really found useful-lots of great tracks from many genres. It requires a subscription, but I find it worth it to avoid copyright claims and still have access to good music. Hope this helps!
This is typical of GSMNP streams. The rewards in terms of quality quantity of fish found in these streams are scarcely worth the expenditure of time money and effort to catch them. Lots of better places with a better chance of success in WNC.
Thanks for watching and commenting! I love fishing the Smokies, so I’m kinda partial. I guess it’s all about what our goals are. I think it’s hard to beat the beauty of the Smokies and I generally love the solitude and the challenge-I especially love to explore new streams in the backcountry when time permits. There are definitely some days where I have to work hard for the fish I catch, but then there are other days where some streams can fish as well as some delayed harvest streams. It does typically take more work though like you said… Tight lines!
To each their own, but yes please continue to tell everyone that fishing the smokies sucks, continue on to the next big river whichever direction you're traveling
