Love the commentary. The weather was extraordinary out today! I can't believe what you put your Grom through. I bout a Z125 earlier this year, and love it, but I don't see myself riding through the woods with it :) Props to you for not having OCD about keeping it clean! I'm looking forward to more of the shop videos. How did the concrete turn out? Don't keep us in suspense!
...I literally rode my Grom to death, 26000+ miles in just over three years, four crashes and hit twice by cars. She's gone on to give other broken Groms new life from the great scrapheap in the sky RIP.
Love my ABS Grom, I find a reason to ride every day, learned to do 1st and 2nd gear wheelies and get'em up on every ride... Got it new on 3/1/19 and as of 12/26/19 It now has 14,500 miles
I have stunt bikes, supermotos, a harley, grom and mx bikes... grom is by far the most ridden and the most fun. Your grom video's are why I subbed! Lol
I love the Grom and I don't see myself ever getting rid of it. And I agree with you 100% about the community aspect of the Grom. I too have met some of the nicest people and some of my close friends in my area thanks to these little bikes.
Not gonna lie bought my grom because of yours and Photogromers vids lol, haven’t put enough km on it yet but as much as I can having wife/2 kids. Keep up with the great videos 🤙
Started with your channel from day one when I had my Grom it had 2800 miles on it when I traded it in this year and it held a good trade in value, great mini bike had a blast on it made it look like a mini dual sport with a dirt bike front fender on it and some cool mods would like to get another one or a Chinese clone to play around with, keep up the good work the channel has come along great from that fist video.
I have now 30k on my 2019 monkey, bought it 2 yrs ago with 300miles on the clock. Thing is almost like new. I have ridden it everywhere, almost every day, also thru very cold Finnish winters. It is just to how you keep it. I clean it after every ride and change oil at every 1250 miles. Greetings From Finland!
I will always be looking for a unicorn bike that does everything. I have a grom and 250l and I love them both. I do ride the 250l more but the grom is just...fun.
Hey man I see your in love with your grom and the community that surrounds them, I'm excited to finally see the kx100 and kx250 in the upcoming year. I want to suggest that you buy and air cooled 250 late 70s early 80s enduro 2 stroke like a suzuki pe250 or 175, yamaha it 200 and 250. I own a 79 pe 250 picked it up cheap, only have about 1500 in to it and they are some of the most fun cool sounding reliable beast that have wide power bands and just look awesome. The vintage 2 stroke scene is one of the awesomest groups to be a part of. Surprisingly it's very large and many many parts are still avalible today. I am only 17 and have been very invested in my vintages bike and 2 stroke design in general. I personally with my own money have owned atleast 10 vintage bikes not including go karts and mini bikes ect. 1979 suzuki pe250, 1980 suzuki rs 250,1980 yamaha yz 125, 1982 yamaha it 200, 1987 Kawasaki kdx 200, 1979 yamaha dt 250, and so on, what I'm trying but to say is there is a barn find waiting for you to discover it lol once your in that vintage bike life restoring the past one bike at a time you will never look back. If your interested look up vintage mx dirt bikes on fb and join. Its a great group and infinite information to read and gain, many legends and experienced people are on there willing to help out anyone who needs it👍 I just saw a guy in Ohio asking if anybody rides Wayne's national forest and I was like man Tanner could jump on that lol just think about it man it would be great content for the channel lol vintage bike life👍
And not to mention that the value of the vintage bikes are now consistently going up so invest now lol I HIGHLY recommend you look up kaplan cycles on RUclips they have the a very large collection of vintage dirt bikes that they demo. Ken Kaplan ownes it and he's a badass.
I bought mine for fun but turned into a college commuting bike. 85mpg average and cheap maintenance. Also plenty of fun from point A-B. I have 12,000 miles on it but recently got into an accident where a driver changed lanes in front of me so I'm healing from a broken collarbone but the Grom only received minor damage. From my experience, keep up with small maintenance like making sure all screws, nuts, bolts are not backing out and always use threadlock when working on it. The vibrations from constantly being full throttle isn't very easy on the bike but everything else is in tact. I plan on fixing mine and using it for local errands or rides. No more commuting.
Bought mine wth 0 miles but no warranty from a dealer in July for 3500. 1200 road miles, Almost all commuting. Bought nc750 in October. Going to keep both. Your videos show how much it can take . The Grom is both economical and fun. Only thing that sucks so far is the spinner maintenance and the price of the registration...187 dollars.
Your enjoyment with the Groms pointed out what I already knew but,.. ol age.. forget things like how much fun it is to ride these underpowered./equipped bikes. I went with the Chinese Vader version and have lots of project and what/where to ride
I have a 2021 Yamaha Ténéré 700 and I own a 2020 Honda grom but I still rather rip the Honda Grom off road more because It’s way lighter and just overall more fun to do. Just put a set of shinko mobbers tires on and that lil grom never gets stuck even if it did I would just pick it up cause of how light weight it is.
I've taken my Grom up a really rocky trail that I thought it wouldn't make it up with the stock tires. It's up on one of my most recent videos. The Grom definitely shouldn't be your only ride.
Grom or Z125 for me would be my dual sport bike of choice. And would pair one of those with a Duke 390. For now I just have an XR100 pitbike and a Honda Quad. I'll eventually get back into on road riding again
Dang I miss the grom videos! I got a new used one in July with 1.3k miles on it and it already has over 8.6k miles now I just put in a dcr cam with dual valve springs and an ecu flash from Cameron Jones and it's way better in the cayons and for stunts now
Missing more grom videos from you. In denmark they throw salt on the roads and from November to February the insurance is not covering riding on the streets.
im owning a 2018 SF grom. loving it, with a air filter, yoshi exhaust, and a dyno runed power commander. im more the "road" guy, so i put michelin power pilot tyres on, and trying to go 60 on road. Loving the bike, but when you weigh over 120 kg, the bike loses top end, and needs a 14 T sprocket in front to make 4th gear useful. right now the Grom is right behind my back in the living room, with my CBR500R also. id like the Grom to have 12- to 15 hp so it still could be ridden on the "A1" drivers license, and have the pick up / top end to go 60+ with the 150 kg weight limit. Some will say to me that i should go bigger bore and so on, but if i get stopped by police i will lose the bike, for constructive changes. the exhaust i can get a ticket, and most cops dont know a tuner, if they se one: (True story: some guy told the cops, that the powercommander was a gps tracker disguised as an engine tuner) Merry Chsritmas and a happy new year for ATDF, family friends and subscribers.
19000+miles on mine, it's because I do deliveries on it, you know postmates, doordash etc..etc.. In just a litte over a year, I'm gonna ride it until I get a regular job or it breaks, which ever comes first.
Yep Cant beat a Grom. I have many bikes and the Grom is the 1st Bike I usually grab. So much fun and almost trouble free. Will the Grom fit into the back of Prius? I just got a Expedition and will try to see if it fits in the back.
Lol "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" . I swear Tanner no joke I was gonna ask you about Zab Fab and the website says its under construction. Is this true about them being out of business? I'm a lil butthurt.

Just got my Grom in the beginning of November, I can't ride it enough it's so fun!

You meet the nicest people on a Honda
You’re clearly the wheelie king on the Grom, please teach me 😂

P. S. Spinner cleaning is not mandatory, If you change your oil often.
Checked it twice, minimal soot in it.
Loving the grom love. Been riding my grom for nearly a year and still I'm not bored plus it's perfect for the city!
I will always be looking for a unicorn bike that does everything. I have a grom and 250l and I love them both. I do ride the 250l more but the grom is just...fun.
Welcome back on the Grom. more grom vids, 🤙I need to get back out on mine.

Wild man! Been wanting to snag one for a while once I can really start saving for one. This has convinced me! Just gotta graduate now haha!!

Groms is always fun.
Great review couldn’t agree more homie grom is the best bike to own but a good idea to have other bikes too if you need to go on the freeway

Going for quick "skert" on the grom;)
I love my grom just installed a cam and intake its awesome

How many miles did it last or do you still have it
Yep Cant beat a Grom. I have many bikes and the Grom is the 1st Bike I usually grab. So much fun and almost trouble free. Will the Grom fit into the back of Prius? I just got a Expedition and will try to see if it fits in the back.
Tanner how tall are you again ? And how much do you weigh ? What would you say is the weight limit for these things...?
We used to do the same a couple times a week and it has definitely slowed down 😔
You mean you picked up the Grom's as soon as the mirrors were installed😁
Lol "You meet the nicest people on a Honda" . I swear Tanner no joke I was gonna ask you about Zab Fab and the website says its under construction. Is this true about them being out of business? I'm a lil butthurt.
the problem with the R6 and other sport bikes is they are boring to ride under 100mph
Exactly!
It's freakin' HONDA! Best of the best!
stock clutch still?
Had one for a couple months, traded it in for a CRF250L
That’s a shame
Thanks for following me on Instagram. I follow you since you owned the grom👌
That's a stunt scrambler
What wheels do you use for off-road?
First
You're a budget Roman Atwood LOL
Facts😂👊🏻
Congrats.
You have 25k hard miles left in that b. . . . More if you baby it.
