I don't think it's esthetically pleasing to the eye except for the front tube area. I don't think I would pay that kind of money for a bike that looks pretty much ugly. Plus I don't understand the power meter gimmick. They should drop the price and remove it and definitely spend more time on the esthetic to make sure it looks good. Otherwise they will not sell any. PS I own a Cannondale so it's not a bashing X brand thing.
My race team is Cannondale supported this year and I've been on the Dura Ace not hi mod version. It's faaaantastic, so fast, so weirdly comfortable. Wanted to ask, what was this independent test? Who did it? Where can we look at the results?
Not a fan of its appearance overall. But I’m sure it’s probably every bit as fast as you’re claiming it is. I’m much more of a Trek Madone/Specialized Roubaix fan.

I love this bike! I am fast regaining confidence on descents and cornering. It sits predictably solid on the road, fast and yet comfortable enough to be on all day.
Aero frame is the last upgrade I would do, for the benefits in terms of Watts, this is the worst upgrade you can do for the amount of money needed. Aero clothing, aero helmet, bike fit for comfortable and aero position, and wheels are better upgrades to make you faster for the amount of money. But these bikes look quite nice.

If angular tubes will save me hours per year in commuting time without extreme riding positions then I don't see the harm in investigating what could work.

I've had mine for a few years now and love it, I've got about 8000 miles on it. The only issue I had was with the stupid tires they come with from the factory. They should come with TUBELESS TIRE'S, I had a flat and couldn't change the tube on the side of the road to save my life! Bought Continental tubeless tires and have never been happier, I do run "finish line" sealant which seems like it makes the wheel unbalanced while it's hanging (spinning) from my bike stand. Also, i did switch to an 11-34 cassette only due to the extreme hills in my area of Pa.
I still have the original “hand made in USA” system six and it’s still one of the lightest frame today! Amazing bike. I’m ordering the new one soon. How does the bike feels on not smooth roads? I wonder if it’s so harsh or acceptable.

Guess race bike category is taking value into account but any bike £8.5k+ is ridiculously expensive and difficult to justify as good value. Plenty of good aero bikes much cheaper than this that would be just as fast for average rider. Going to be testing the Orro Venturi?

This bike does KNOT look good! in fact, it's butt ugly! And this is from someone who has two cannondale bikes! This is the last aero bike of all the aero bikes that I would buy. The specialized venge is much nicer and is probably similarly fast over 40 or 50km.

Fuggly look, is on the heavier side compared to the lightest aero bikes of other premium brands, expensive price point, is decent in aero gains but certainly not the best, and has a tedious and expensive powermeter unlocking feature. I would certainly love to have this bike in my collection, but not at the expensive of drawing money from any of my bank accounts--; not worth it

I've been a fan boy for many years, due tp the superb Supersix, but now the design is lost (that head tube design and super ugly Knot-bars). My next bike will be a Venge or the next Aeroad. I don't care if the are a few watts slower, it's just nonsens. Speed is in your legs and heart.

If not, they're losing money on hardware.. That's an idiot move at whoever made that decision at Cannondale. If they just fitted it with a Spidering instead, I'd make this a winner. But at a power meter that some people may not activate is just dead weight.
You can buy a decent performance motorbike for that money. Think about the R and D, manufacturing set-up and production, raw materials and regulatory compliance that goes into a new motorbike, and then think about how much we are being ripped off
You should've added "UCI Race bike". I believe most racing recumbents and almost all velomobiles will beat those wind tunnel test numbers. Can that bike beat Velokraft VKII, Nocom and ultracom? Can taht bike beat Cruzbike Vendetta, Bachetta CA and M5 CHR? how is it compared to Mango, Milan SL and Quest?
Really? I can think of at least a dozen aero/ish bikes I would purchase before this bloated dead wight. Madone, Venge, S5, Oltre XR4, Propel, Orca, F10, Concept, Pininfarina SK, Factor One, and Aeroad.
He's not a racer. Race bikes are fast but they're not the best to live with day in and day out. You could tell he was a lot more into the Trek which is just a better all around bike and actually enjoyable to ride.

I'll probably be looking at a top spec aero bike in the next 12 months and there was absolutely nothing of substance in this review that would make me lean towards the Cannondale.
lets be real , biking is a sport only for the rich. this bike with the cheapest groupset cost +6k$, if im a person that want to start this beautiful sport, i wont be able to do it because of the cost, and tbh for a generic sport machine the cost is really unfair :/

Cannondale is part of larger organisation, and it's not making top quality bikes... Many design and manufacturing faults, crap bottob brackets, fittings and lach of precision etc. Bikes ordinary customers buy are totally different from bikes used by professional teams. 90% of of bike myths are based on marketing jargon and it's not supported by solid engineering.

skinny tube bikes with deep section wheels look so much better then this new generation of aero brick and my advice is of you can't ride aero bike slammed without the spacers please don't buy one, there is nothing worse that having thick bike with tall spacers, just buy lightweight bike instead you are making cyclist not cool

Those FSA chainrings are off the 00's! They should have just specced a lovely looking Dura Ace power meter chainset on there.
