    What does everyone think of Cannondale's SystemSix??? Is it the type of race bike you'd go for, or would you prefer something different?

      I don't think it's esthetically pleasing to the eye except for the front tube area. I don't think I would pay that kind of money for a bike that looks pretty much ugly. Plus I don't understand the power meter gimmick. They should drop the price and remove it and definitely spend more time on the esthetic to make sure it looks good. Otherwise they will not sell any. PS I own a Cannondale so it's not a bashing X brand thing.

      Aero frame is the last upgrade I would do, for the benefits in terms of Watts, this is the worst upgrade you can do for the amount of money needed. Aero clothing, aero helmet, bike fit for comfortable and aero position, and wheels are better upgrades to make you faster for the amount of money. But these bikes look quite nice.

    • @AaronGoodTimes
      @AaronGoodTimes 5 лет назад +2

      @@vincentcampagna3254 I think there is space for bike designers to adopt aero concepts that would work in harmony with other road bike types without fundamentally changing one style of bike fully into an aero bike with all of their downsides. I've had mine for a few years now and love it, I've got about 8000 miles on it. The only issue I had was with the stupid tires they come with from the factory. They should come with TUBELESS TIRE'S, I had a flat and couldn't change the tube on the side of the road to save my life! Bought Continental tubeless tires and have never been happier, I do run "finish line" sealant which seems like it makes the wheel unbalanced while it's hanging (spinning) from my bike stand. Also, i did switch to an 11-34 cassette only due to the extreme hills in my area of Pa.

I've been a fan boy for many years, due tp the superb Supersix, but now the design is lost (that head tube design and super ugly Knot-bars). My next bike will be a Venge or the next Aeroad. Outfit a bike with a pretty good power meter, but you can only use it with a $490 software activation???? What the heeeeeeeck... That motto will only work if people activate it. If not, they're losing money on hardware.. That's an idiot move at whoever made that decision at Cannondale. If they just fitted it with a Spidering instead, I'd make this a winner. skinny tube bikes with deep section wheels look so much better then this new generation of aero brick and my advice is of you can't ride aero bike slammed without the spacers please don't buy one, there is nothing worse that having thick bike with tall spacers, just buy lightweight bike instead you are making cyclist not cool
