Yeah, I think that’s essentially what’s happening although there’s possibly an important distinction. If you were to point out to Ahab that he was sacrificing his children he would agree and that it is right to do so. I don’t know anyone who is pro choice that thinks either that abortion is child sacrifice or that child sacrifice is acceptable. There is a fundamental difference in the category of person/human/baby etc that is being played out by otherwise reasonable people for the most part

      That’s a fair distinction, although I don’t know if there’s a moral difference

@@TheBibleisArt I feel like there must be. If someone has been fooled into believing there is little or no value in a baby in the womb how can we not extend some grace?
There is a debate as to who is more morally culpable in an abortion, the mother or the Dr. More often then not it is the Dr as they should know better. Especially if the mother is in crisis.
We extend grace to those who are too young to know better, or have a mental disability or even cultural difference/ignorance.
I can even point at Christ when he said to forgive them father, for they know not what they do.
I definitely believe that Baal and Moloch are getting what they want, but I'm not sure pro choice advocates are directly to blame

I understand what you mean. I don’t think that changes the initial point that it is child sacrifice and that it is evil though.

Pretty evil of him to sacrifice his children to rebuild a city. But what they're doing now feels so much worse. Nowadays people are aborting their children simply for convenience. It's really sad. At least we're moving in the right direction now.
