I don't have any service-manual maybe you can send me a link where I can download it. The thing is the PNP Transistor Q001 is working and at the first changed Laser-pickup the light was off so I build in a old one that is working now but there are came no data from the CD. So what? IF amp defect or some other IC? I let order the IC and now we must wait!

I see the servo IC on the component side, is really burned the pcb. Probably is one cause?
Sherwood CD-801 #2 will show your idea to repair it -let's have a look what happened.
