Hello everyone,
Back with my first vlog of the year, yay! It was a pretty stressful one, having a grumpy toddler, stressed with work, damaged Neil's car, childcare issues, & to top it all off, cat sick on the bed - winning! Decided to film & this is how it all panned out. Working & being mum is bloody hard, atleast I don't have to worry about that now. Hope you all enjoy it :)

Missed your vlogs was so glad when I saw this one! A lesson Iv learnt is to never leave my girl when she is poorly, I just phone my work and tell em I ent going. It's not worth the stress for her or for you xxx

I know I have said it before put childminding would be a great option for you. You would earn a great living and get to stay at home with wee P. Look into it you won’t regret it . Lovely family xx

Oh Jess, I really feel for you. I know what a fiercely independent person you are and how important contributing to the finances was to you, but at the end of the day, you have to be practical and until P is in school full time it might prove really tricky to go out to work. I was in the same boat when my children were smaller. We had to live off my husband's wage and we had to sacrifice all of the luxuries in life. We even got rid of our car because we were so poor! I promise you though, as P gets older, things will get easier and you'll get more opportunities to work different hours. I work in a school so I'm home in the afternoons and evenings and off during the holidays. That might be an option for you later on. Until then, I'd try to work from home. Maybe really push your online business and like another viewer suggested, maybe look into looking after another child so you can be at home with P but earn a bit of extra cash too? X By the way your bookshelf looks AMAZING! X #goals
Yep it really is a massive struggle, how do people manage?! It's really hard like you say as I like to be independent, the fact I can't; I hate it! I shall see where the year takes me, I'm sure something will pop up, everything happens for a reason! Hahah I'm glad you like my bookshelf, thought you might! :D xxx

I do like all of her books, my favourites have to be her first 2, ps I love you and where rainbows end. Both have been adapted to films which i think aren't as good as the books.
I've picked up a Lucy diamond book this week because the cover reminded me of alot of the books you have shown, is she an author you have read? X
Really sympathised with you in this vlog....I had similar issues when trying to get back to part-time work and sort out childcare. Also after a long day coming home tired and hungry and too cat sick on the bed....I think I would of had a major meltdown 🙈 love your vlogs btw....so relatable and honest! 💕 xx

Aww what a shame about your job but if it doesn’t suit you it can’t be done, so you can look and find something that’s better for your family. Being a working mam is so hard but my cuddles when I come through the door make it worthwhile. Hope P is feeling better for you xxxx
+Rachael KP yeah exactly, the job was a complete surprise anyway, all feels like a dream now 😂 the thing I struggled with was no cuddles when I got home & in the mornings P was just horrible! Hopefully we will find something to suit! 🙌🏻 xxx

Oh Jess....When P walked into your bedroom and sat in front of the camera...she's absolutely gorgeous!! As she's getting older, she's just blossoming every day...so so pretty!! Sorry to hear about Boots...suppose you're gunna miss the money but there'll be other jobs in the future I'm sure xxx love your vlogs...keepin it real as always xxx

Is it weird that I’m excited to see you and Ellie with more kids? 😂 can’t wait to see P grow more and become a big sister in time! We want to move this year we’re getting married in October and then I think we want another baby! Just so broody lately with all this baby talk and pregnant vloggers 😂😄

One reason I do not work is because I would have to wake my kids, I do not drive and my husband schedule is not reliable till after 9. So I understand the stress to trying to wake a child up once it going to sleep and my kids are terrible and will stat awake once woken

Have you ever considered babysitting at your house so you can stay home with P, but still make some extra money?

Phoebe & Me Aww, I think you'd be a natural since you're such a good mom! You could ask people you know if they know anyone looking for childcare. Better option than just advertising to the general public.
Don’t get to down about your job it was stressing you out not stable child care for p so prob best u being home till u get a stable child care and then u won’t be as stressed I’m in the same boat as u my son is one n I wanna go bk to work n iv got no one to watch him your a great mummy to p
