As an expat with 20 years in Japan under my belt, I believe this is one of the better conversational Japanese presentations I've seen. Minor quibble: the pace is a bit accelerated for a beginner, but I'll still recommend this to friends just starting out with Japanese.
It's only unfortunate that it's just reading sentences out loud with their translation, with no explanation why that's the sentence or how the sentence is built up. Makes it harder to *understand* the language. But some of these sentences are good to know.
I'll admit yea she's pretty fast but nothing like a good challenge or just pause n rewind, also a really good exercise after trying to learn my Japanese grammer.
@@iluvyunie Yeah, I did. But from a few weeks I am off from it becuz of my job and stuff. I want to get back to learning Japanese. Where are you in learning it?
@@arpitsrivstva nice! personally I studied japanese at university for a while, but I'm only just getting back into it now years later for the sake of reading books in japanese.
Love the energy and expressions she uses. I studied Japanese 25 years ago in Chiba, and the teachers were robotics, and just repeating everything we learned,...just no motivation to learn. Keep it up Risa sensei. Your voice is nice to listen to. Thanks.
This is the BEST language teaching video ever made! It’s so much fun watching you AND learning Japanese. I love your personality. Keep up the awesome job and make more videos like this. Arigato gozaimasu
I was born in japan but came to america when i was four so i lost my language. I can understand it but, i can’t really speak it. It’s hard for me to form sentences even though i know how to in the back of my mind. It’s weird. Hopefully these videos will help me :)
Before i apply for work here in Japan i always watch Risa San Tutorials thanks to her i learn the hiragana and Katakana and other things ... i notice her hair is longer a bit than before 😊😍😍😍but I prefer the shorter one
My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!
This is what I needed, for a year I did all input and vocab but zero output, so I could barely form (weird) sentences. This will get me started forming sentences
Some people in the comments section complained about how those speakers spoke a little fast, but I personally didn't mind. As long as it's still clear, it will force me to work on my tongue muscle and correct pronunciation.
I visted Japan on october this year i stayed for 15 days , i have visit Hiroshima and fukushima Japanese people are very nice people they treats everyone equally . they are mostly conservative. so when i returned back to my home country i have decieded to learn Japanese language so now i can read and write Hiragana and Katakana Kainjy is already on the process
I'm living in Japan for three years but still can't speak Japanese. However, Risa is introducing Japanese language in a very funny and nice way ...keep it up Risa chan
@@trusttruth9916 I've been learning Japanese for about a month and I can have a semi conversation usually. Maybe you're just a slower learner or something? as long you're happy I guess it rly doesnt matter
Tip: you'd put the sentences on the box down the video. Then, we'd copy and paste whatever we wanted to. For example, I'd like to put those sentences on Anki to remember them later but I don't know how to write them by myself.

Easy, open the keyboard and speak through the mic icon, then the text would be suggested by your Japanese keyboard.

I really love your tutorial. I’ve been searching a good channel to learn Nihongo on RUclips. I am a teacher here in Japan. Communication in Japanese is a must here. Now I will be here everyday.
You are great! Such a pleasure to learn Japanese with you. Thank you for your enthusiastic way to interact with us.🎀 Like a professional comedian undertaking different characters.. .🖒🐳
This is cool - I will ordering foods in a restaurant, asking directions and use the '5 phrases that make you sound like a pro' and I mastered the onomatopoeia - arigato.
I really appreciate the content that you have put out. It is incredible and I cannot thank you enough! The only problem I have is that the lessons are all so quiet, not just this video. I have to turn the volume way up, but then an ad starts blasting so loud! I really love your content, but I would like it even more if it was a little louder. ありがとうございます
