    Ariana can actually sing low notes pretty easily now compared to when she talked about her lower register in that interview. Her vocal range for 2019 was D3-Bb5-Eb6-Bb6 so shes pretty comfortable singing low notes now. Also please react to "Ariana Grande GOING OFF with her vocals in 2019!" by Moon Grande28.

    In terms of lower range, she has a decent lower register FOR A SOPRANO. However, in general her lows aren’t very strong but compared to other sopranos like her, they are okay.

    I just have to say something about it. That reminds me of my mother. She was an opera singer, and whenever we were somewhere, and I spoke too deeply (which is still the case today), she always said: You have to speak higher. And she always said it out loud so that others could hear it. That was always embarrassing for me as a child. :-) Today as an adult, she was so right about it. I miss my mom. Singing meant everything to her.

    I am the complete opposite of Ariana. I am a true Alto (Contralto, chest voice reaches G4). I am slightly smaller than her actually. Height of women do not correlate with their singing voice types at all. When l am tired my voice sits even lower than usual. Though I have a wide range it is difficult to maintain a high, bright tessitura especially when l am tired, sick, or not getting enough sleep. My voice turned low, dark, androgynous due to aging (longer, thicker vocal folds). I felt/sensed my voice changing. In terms of appearance my neck seems thicker, also my hyoid bone seems enlarged and more pronounced. I have better projection in my low range all the way down to C3 now. Solid, smoky notes, moderate volume.
    By the way all changed voices can reach vocal fry register in some way. But definitely the lower the voice, the stronger the low range. Thicker, heavier, darker, more volume and projection

      Height doesn't matter, but the shape of the face and other facial features, as well as a person's general build, matter (unless one has undergone some sort of surgery to change their bodies). Ariana is quite thin so her voice is pretty light. Liz Gillies has a slightly wider face than Ari, and is less thin than Ari is. She is a mezzo-soprano. So there is a correlation between the size of a person and his/her/their voice.

    Ariana has good technique for her vocal type, however, that leaves Ariana less to admire about her voice. Ariana *CAN* *NOT* produce a *constant* note in the *second* octave without her sounding nasally. Ariana also doesn't have any *agility* in the second octave as well. Because of her vocal type she's deprived of agility in that register. I believe this is do to her *high* tessitura. These *disabilities* in Ariana's voice reflects in her music. Most of Ariana songs sound a like in *format* on how it's layered out. it's always *soft* start *big* finish. Something like *broadway* style singing. I know that's her background but still she's marketed as a *pop* artist and I'm safe to say I've heard everything she can do.

      Ramsey Voice Studio my question is why can’t I get my notes to come out more crisp and resonate.

    Pavoratti was 6’ 2”, Bocelli is 6’ 2”, Placido Domingo 6’ 2” - i seriously doubt height has anything to do with vocal type.

      @ramseyvoicestudio  3 года назад

      it does but is not the defining characteristic. and those men have trained their voices for decades

      @@ramseyvoicestudio we’ll juat have to agree to disagree, cause Robert Plant is 6’ 1” and Paul McCartney is near 6 foot, so it’s a weak argument. I’ve met so many shorter guys who have deep voices. Im starting to be convinced that it has mostly to do with where and how you grow up, sexuality etc... Italian and Spansh are very Tenor languages, hence many more Tenors.
