I love watching vocal coaches react to his voice but I would really like to see them react to more recent videos

Oh my god this video was so frustrating 😂 who MADE THIS? Those are absolutely not even CLOSE to his best performances. They even included 2014 in it, when he was exhausted. The clip you saw where he wearing that brown button down? That’s weeks after finishing up a worldwide stadium tour and in the middle of a long ass promo run. He was constantly on vocal rest because 1D didn’t give him a second. The person making this video hates him 😭 the one where he’s singing Torn? He had to use a robot app to speak in the interview right before that because his voice was so shot he couldn’t even SPEAK. Most of the clips are from when he was in 1D, which was before he started working with Ron Anderson. And the most recent ones are from 2017... the Ultralight Beam one cut off right before the best part and the Girl Crush one... they chose the worst clip when the entire performance is uploaded in HQ with incredible vocals in the BBC channel.
I’m glad you still liked his vocals but this is not a show of how well he can actually sing. Not even close

If you're gonna react to Harry's recent vocal abilities react/watch his performance of Falling at the 2020 Brits earlier this year pre-pandemic, or Sign of the Times at iHeart radio's secret session this year (imo his BEST performance of that song), or search Harry Styles If I Could Fly Amsterdam (SUCH a great performance, vocally and emotionally imo), or Harry Styles Anna Barcelona, or his SNL performances from 2019! Or his Graham Norton performance and the Late Late Late w/ James Corden performance of Adore You, or his performances on Howard Stern from earlier this year (specifically his Sledge Hammer cover!), or the entirety of his Jingle Bell Ball set from 2019, or his performance of Lights Up on Jools Holland, or his live concert on Tiny Desk, OR his cover of Juice at the Live Lounge, or his cover of Big Yellow Taxi on BBCR2 this year, or... all the amazing vocal performances from his solo tour? Who is setting up harry like this i wanna talk!! Lol

He's actually taken vocal lessons since 2016, and has increased his vocal range by an octave and a half and improved his technique and control. He doesn't strain as much as he may have in the past, and his tone is so beautiful!

I’m no expert but I agree with you. Question: could it be that that’s what the 1D people demanded from him? He has a very powerful voice but many times he had to triple the intensity because he had to beat other 4-3 other voices. Also when Zayn left, he overtook really difficult sections of the songs and obviously his voice is deeper than Zayn. High baritone vs tenor. The song in which you say he sounds flat, used to be Zayn’s and he just can’t.
Now that he’s alone and obviously taking lessons, he is improving a lot.
He's doing really well!

one direction's first-ever performance together was torn at the x-factor judges' house, and they performed it again just a bit before their hiatus as a cover at the bbc radio (the clip you saw). The two performances are 5 years apart. It would be really cool to see you analyze the difference between there vocals as they've grown, their voices matured and have had more vocal training through the years.

It would be really cool if there's a compilation of his pre solo era and a compilation of his post solo era for you to react to and compare. You know tell us what exactly has improved about his technique.

He had girl crush on the first i think. But yes. Clearly an 18 year old voice is going to be different than a 25 year old.. especially males. Ultralightbeam is one of my favorites. It sounds nothing like the original and it's just such a great vocal and music. I wish he would record it. And medicine.
I really love deep harry. I love the raspy, soulful and off notes like in drag me down.. but i feel like the deep notes are so much sexier sometimes, like prince. When he sang deep, lord...
Although now I have to admit that she is probably one of my favorites and he gets really high in that and it's mind blowing to me.. but it's not sustainable for him. When he sings it live he goes really low and it doesn't have the same impact.

@@ramseyvoicestudio she is a song from harry on his second album. It's i think 6 minutes and on the recording he goes up quite high, but live he goes down at least an octave if not 2. There is a long guitar solo and man it just hits me in my feels. His voice and the guitar is so prince and Floyd and just, you hear the anguish of this man who is living for someone or something that he can never have. It's like Erik Clapton solo in while my guitar gently weeps... it's probably my favorite.. although that changes with my mood. Lol. I highly recommend you listen to the whole song recorded vs live

I wanna put this out there just so you know, in the 2015 era (that he has long hair) a while after zayn left the band harry went through a very bad cold, they had this interview i think it was BBC1 radio, harry wasn't allowed to talk because of his voice condition. His doctor only allowed him to sing that day and he was just typing everything in his phone using an app to participate in the interview. He also had some difficulties singing high notes in those days, and some of these performances were around that time...

This video actually has things older than the first one. But you noticed that the latest things are better, in One Direction he worked his voice very little and was not as careful as today, because the truth is that the band was a little abusive, he often sang until he lost his voice because he didn't had vocal preparation. You can watch some live performances of it without being compiled more recently, you would like it a lot.

I'm a huge harry fan but I agree with everything you say. I come from a theater background and I am fully aware of the cost of daily concerts/ performance has on a voice especially if it's a natural vs trained voice. And people don't often understand that. A song written and recorded in a studio, even without autotune and heavy mixing, is not often a song that's meant for stage.
You should watch some of his concert or other live performances as a solo artist. Particularly adore you and watermelon sugar and even sign of the times. When he's live he'll sing in a lower register and let his band take the high. And this is simply preservation for longevity.
Also someone else made a compilation of live sign of the times. His first one was snl and it was rough. He was clearly disappointed in his performance and then with practice it gets better. You can also see looks between him and his guitarist, mitch who co wrote everything. He's kind of his rock and it's very subtle but anyone who's been in that business can see it.. the things said on stage with looks...i didn't get that note, I forgot my lines, im nervous, I did it, that was better...etc..

It pains me that people still put One Direction examples in these compilation videos that vocal coaches react to. All of those examples are 5+ years old which is a LONG time. He did a beautiful performance of “Falling” at the Brits in actual 2020 rather than like 2014.

Love your videos.. I gotta a question .. When he goes to F4, G4 or A4 , does he uses his nasal cavity to reach up there?
Sometimes Harry is a bit nasal. But mostly in that area, he tends to pull his chest voice up higher and raise his larynx

I feel so bad for 1D-Harry... He clearly didn't have proper training during that time, which is SO CLEAR when you compare to solo Harry. This compilation didn't do him justice though.

@@sharanya6912 oh i Absolutely love that carpool karaoke. yes..i wasn't a 1d fan because I'm really old but I heard about h from lizzo whom I adore and so I went down the rabbit hole. I would say I like them as people more than their music. The songs I like from them are oddly the ones harry wrote. He's just more my style. I grew up with the same influences he did and I'm not too much Into that pop sound. But I do like watching their lives because of the full band and their personalities in interviews. They honestly Crack me up.
I came for the harry styles music and stayed for the comedy hour.

Guys, I understand you being upset cause he is reacting to old stuff but what I don't understand is why y'all are being so rude. He's just discovering Harry. Instead of rudely put him down for reacting to these, request him to react to recent performances RESPECTFULLY and if he gets something wrong, correct him RESPECTFULLY
